  1. This is the first season where I didn't even watch the final...it's a sad day in Z-land! I'll probably FF to see who wins tomorrow, but no interest in taking up 2 hrs tonight to watch either of them...
  2. Agreed 100%. K2 is a "me first" player...we have an entire locker room full of "team first" guys, and K2 is exactly the type of player we don't need messing it up.
  3. I dunno...she's got the crazy eyes.
  4. Howard's standing "O" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfsxwrNZoKg&feature=related
  5. Last night I watched a documentary called "Up For Grabs", which is based on Bonds' 73rd home run ball and who actually caught/owned it. Was much more interesting than I expected, as I really hadn't heard much about this story when it went down.
  6. "I Started a Joke" is one of my favorite songs of all time.
  7. All in all I think this was a really entertaining season. What really annoyed me yesterday was that one latina lady who didn't smile the entire season and made everything seem like it was so serious. When she raised a bunch of money when she was PM but lost to the other team, she whined about how her charity wasn't going to see any of the money she raised. Trump shut her down almost immediately saying that what matters most is that CHARITY is getting the money and that's the way the game goes...to the winning PM go the spoils. So what does she do last night? She says the SAME DAMN THING! What a complete tard that lady is...why she was on the show I have no idea, but that was very disrespectful for her to do that on the finale. I was pretty cool with whoever won last night, and quite honestly I'd probably check out a new late night arsenio talk show...that's his niche, so I'm sure someone will sign him up. He wasn't all that impressive during the season, but he was on his game last night and said all the right things. I loved when he said that Aubrey had given him a donation in private. The Lou clips were great and I'm glad Lampinelli just took the self-deprecation route in response to all her crazy antics...she redeemed herself a little bit. Also lol'd when Carolla said that Theresa thought "naive" was a brand of douche lol. If they could get an all-star celebrity season, that would rule...
  8. I try to keep it interesting (and don't forget, I also own a standard poodle)
  9. It's been hard for me to look past their behavior and focus on their function in terms of plot ever since that kleptomaniac scene. I just find them both uber annoying.
  10. That's sad...I'm a big BeeGees fan. If anyone wants to hear some really great music, check out their 60's pre-disco stuff....it's fantastic. RIP Robin
  11. I just watched "Very Bad Things" with Christian Slater, Cameron Diaz, and Jon Favreau. One of the most FUGGED UP films ever lol.
  12. LOL...that's actually a great example. I love to "hate" Lebron now that he's playing for the Heat, but I have absolutely nothing against the guy as a person at all. If he ever came to play for the Sixers, I could get behind him in a heartbeat. Same with someone like Dan Marino. I hated that fugger while he was playing against us, but as a person I think he's a really good dude. Yesterday was honestly the first time I got a good look at Durant. Heard about him quite a bit but never seen him play. I was really impressed...he's a lot of fun to watch. GO SIXERS!!!
  13. Is that the Bowie film?
  14. I wish I could be more like that...I can do it in terms of the game itself, but when someone does something off the court that I find despicable, then it tends to stay with me and I can't ever look at the guy the same way anymore. Kobe is even a Philly guy, so it makes it that much harder since I consider Philly my adopted hometown. I actually followed his decision when he was in H.S. and deciding to go straight into the NBA. I wish I could like the guy, but I can't. One of the most heartbreaking events for me was with Favre. I don't often consider myself a "fan" of anyone as I've gotten older, but I can honestly say he fell into that category. He was by far my favorite player in the NFL outisde of the Bills. But the minute I found out he was cheating on his wife while she was battling cancer and sending pics of his pecker to some cheerleader on the Jets, all that just disappeared. Twenty years of my being his fan just evaporated the minute I found out.
  15. You got it, my friend...except I named him "The Admiral" in honor of Kirk's "short" stint.
  16. Wow, a Box of Moonlight reference! I loved that movie! I think that was the film that turned me into a Sam Rockwell fan...he was great in it. I've always like Turturro, as well. Excellent recommendation! Stojan: I can't believe how many people haven't seen True Romance either...it's probably my favorite Tarantino film (although I think he only wrote it, not direct it) and one helluva ride. Patricia Arquette is a babe in that flick. Definitely agree about King of Kong, too...one of my favorite docs. Hey Mrs Beerball!! Congrats on the graduation...I know you and Senor Beer are very proud And excellent suggestion...I've seen that film and it's one of Duvall's best.
  17. WEird, somehow it ended up in my queue even though I have no recollection of ever putting it there. Thanks for the suggestion.
  18. I'm not recommending this as a "great" film, but I saw an indy flick tonight called "Boy Wonder" that was very entertaining. It has a vigilante justice type theme and one of the best endings I've seen in a while.
  19. Watched an indy flick tonight called "Boy Wonder". If anyone sees this, please let me know what you thought of the ending (be mindful of spoiler alerts)...this had one of the best 2nd halves that I've seen in a while. Just a tad slow in the first half, but I definitely recommend it if you like a vigilante justice sort of plot. (No, it's not a super hero flick.)
  20. I named my penis after him.
  21. Absolutely...another one of my favorites. Highly recommended.
  22. Kirk.
  23. I liked this film but I didn't feel it was better than The King's Speech at all.
  24. 30 kids from 11 different women....w...t...f
