Let me tell you a little, true story. Back in 2000, me and my ex, and 18 other people, had the chance to have breakfast with Geddy Lee from Rush. He was doing a promo tour for his solo album My Favorite Headache. We sat about 4 feet from Geddy. Everyone in the room asked him about Rush, and he was more than nice enough to answer everyone's question. Then my ex asks him about his daughter, as her son and Geddy's daughter are the same age. Nothing about Rush. Geddy then gave us his undevoted attention for 30 minutes. Geddy and I had a nice talk about baseball, one of his passions besides music. (He predicted that Alex Rodriguez would sign with the Dodgers from Seattle. Geddy can be wrong). He really lit up when we dove into him as a human, and not all about his work.
The moral of this story is, when you meet or see a celebrity, the last thing they want to do is to talk about their job. Let Josh be Josh. If he wants to spend the whole interview talking about Hailee, let him.
