  1. But he doesn't play football like Welker and Chrebet at all....thats not just Jauron's fault, its Roscoe's as well
  2. I think Vick needs to go to a place with a strong head coach who will absorb most of the media blitz, maybe even intimidate them. A Black head coach preferably. That's why I say S.F.
  3. I remember an interview with Jauron saying that they want Levitre at LG because he's more technical and bigger, while Wood is more brute force.
  4. Now we can get more T.O. reports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Does anyone know why Wood is playing RG instead of LG? I thought that maybe his footwork coming out of his stance is faster on one side than the other. Right vs. left foot dominance. I will admit that I do not have a clue as to if the my guess is correct or not. Anybody out there play organized ball on the OL have any insight to offer.
  6. Nice. Both of these guys need to be starting Week 1.
  7. He drops too many balls. For a superstar anyway. Jaguars interested in Parrish
  8. You're point is? Oh. We could be worse off than we already are. We could have Mangini as a coach and Royal as our TE. Who's their QB again? And their best WR drops the ball more than he catches it.
  9. RIP, one of the best, who realized what his passion was and what he was great at, and didn't want be a head coach. This is a massive loss for the Eagles.
  10. The 3 unsigned draft picks don't count toward the 80.
  11. He thinks he should be a super star receiver?!? Don't get me wrong, I love the guys game, and think he could be used a bit more, and i love how dynamic he is. But a super star?
  12. http://www.nfl.com/trainingcamp/stor...s&confirm=true Glad to see Coy getting a chance to shine as a starter.
  13. Any clinical psychologists out there? What on earth did he stand to gain by all of this - if anything, he made himself look even more foolish than if he were to have signed. Right about now, Brad Childress has to be thinking about what a dick tease Favre is. Favre teased Childress until the last possible second and left him with blue balls and 2 QBs that no longer trust him. "I thought you wanted it Brett?" "Sorry, Chilly....I'm just not into bald guys."
  14. Wanna talk about a huge knee to the balls of the Vikings. Ouch... Brad had best start repairing the psyche of his qb's right now! Also, anyone think they may turn their attention to Vick now?
  15. Next year Harris weighs 250.
  16. That looks like the plan. I remember ML back there last year. It made ME uncomfortable.
  17. Where is Omon? Cut him too and get some LBs in here
  18. All these guys ranging from Dungy to TO are saying that Vick should get re-instated, that he served his time, paid his debt, and he has a right to make a living. Lets not forget that he was convicted of illegal gambling first and foremost. So lets say I am an accountant, lawyer, doctor, public official of any sort, and job where integrity matters and I have a responsibility to maintain an ethical standard or positively represent an organization. Now I get convicted of illegal gambling and spend two years in prison. If I am a CPA, I may lose my license and never get a job as an accountant again. If I am a Lawyer, I may get disbarred and never work as a lawyer again. I still have a right to make a living and can probably get work in any number of lower level positions, but I don't have a right (legally or morally) to necessarily work in the same profession again. The employers have rights too and can choose to not hire me as it could be a risk (of further bad activity on my part) or a public relations challenge they do not wish to deal with. So I don't see why Vick should get re-instated at all? The NFL does not owe him a living, and he is a PR nightmare just waiting to happen. He is heavily in debt and has a history of lying and consorting with illegal gamblers. He is a risk the NFL should not take, and they are not obligated to take. He evidently has found productive work as a construction worker. Let him work there and live a life as most of us live. He has no right to regain his status as a multi-millionaire football player.
  19. The Bills seemed to give the first hint Monday that they're going to put a fairly interesting spin on the "Wildcat" offense this season. For a few non-contact plays early in practice, they had wide receiver Roscoe Parrish lined up in shotgun, behind center, while quarterback Trent Edwards was lined up wide to Parrish's right at receiver. Parrish played quarterback in high school, so he is quite comfortable at the position. On one snap Parrish took it himself and ran after faking a handoff to Lynch, and then handed off to Lynch on another play. The Bills are happy to make all of their opponents aware that they have the "Wildcat" package because, by the estimation of defensive coordinator Perry Fewell, Buffalo's defense had to devote a minimum of seven hours each week to prepare for "Wildcat" scheme of its opponents. Fourteen of those hours alone went into preparing to face the NFL's "Wildcat" pioneers and division foe, the Miami Dolphins.if TE goes down, we just wildcat em to death.
  20. "at this time" and "as it stands right now" kind of stick out to me. I personally could care less either way, but i don't think this statement really rules out anything.
  21. I think his lack of accuracy down the field comes from poor footwork. Didnt JP work on his footwork and mentioned that it helped his delivery?? could be wrong, but 'somebody' said it.
  22. -- Will Patriots or Steelers Sign Michael Vick? -- Tue Jul 28, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com # Bloomberg reports QB Michael Vick's second chance in the National Football League is most likely to come from the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the Internet gambling Web site BetUS.com. Vick was conditionally reinstated to the NFL yesterday, a week after completing a 23-month sentence for running a dogfighting ring. The NFL said that the former Pro Bowl quarterback can practice immediately and play in the preseason's final two games if he can find a team that will sign him. The Patriots and Super Bowl-champion Steelers are given 4-1 odds of adding Vick. They're followed by the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills at 9-2, meaning a winning $100 bet would return $450 plus the original wager.
  23. You're missing my point entirely and arguing semantics. My point is that Owens is more of a scoring threat and the best, most consistent receiver we've had in awhile and we should be excited about this.
