  1. Last night some kids were throwing cinder blocks and rocks off the Browncroft overpass in Rochester. 12 cars were hit. My mother's front end of her baby, 1998 Mustang, was busted up pretty bad. The kids were seen but haven't been found yet. Luckily she's OK, the car is in the shop. No one got killed. Luckily......... peer pressure is a damning thing, but if the children are involved in recreation and camps, so on, there is less chance that this crap will happen.
  2. They have Doubleday field as a place to watch a sporting event.....what do they have one professional level game there per year and it's only exhibition? Rebos.
  3. aw, no sweat. Just plug in Troy Brown.
  4. RTDB thinks Roy Halladay's return won't effect the Jays at all.
  5. aussie likes feminine men.
  6. It's simple. TD got an extension b/c he puts butts in the seats. The performance on the field is secondary to the fiscal improvements the Bills have had since TD came on board.
  7. She appears to be in pretty good shape. But, the hair makes her look nasty. Do something other than the braids or whatever they are and she'd be a respectful older lady. No MILF, but not too shabby.
  8. Someone had to sell the rest of Ricky's stash.
  9. You could make a great movie about the Bills run. Of course it would end a lot like Titanic.
  10. I'll add this to my "need to read" list. Working on "Three nights in August" by Buzz Bissinger right now. About Tony LaRussa and a three game set against the Cubs in 2003. Good, no great read. If you haven't checked it out, it's worth it!
  11. Yeah, you're both old.
  12. Yep, I remember that moment like it was yesterday. I was in college at the time and was sitting in the car listening to the game while waiting outside the laundromat. I was yelling so hard the people inside the laundromat were staring at me.
  13. I'm only 28. I can't take things in to account that I never saw. It would be unfair for me to say that the Babe was a better athlete than say Honus Wagner b/c I just don't know.
  14. And Bo Jackson is comparable, according to baseball reference, to such sluggers as Nick Esasky, Greg Vaughn and Phil Plantier. Just because he could hit the long ball for a few years doesn't make him great. It makes him a "what if". What if he didn't get hurt? Deion was the premier corner of the 90's and as a bonus he was a dangerous threat on O and special teams. Think about it, he was dominate in one sport and played well at the professional level in another. Not only that but he has lasted 15 years. Hard for me to give the vote to Bo when he only played pro sports for half that time.
  15. But, Dilfer wasn't a rook. I like JP don't get me wrong. I hope he does big things in the Buff but I just don't see it happening this year.
  16. just b/c he's a showboater doesn't mean he's not one of the most gifted athletes of all time. IMO, he is the best. Lance Armstrong was posed the question of whether or not he was good at other sports and, I'm paraphrasing here, he said he sucked at every other sport he's ever tried. While he's on my top 5 list, he's not one because he hasn't played mutiple professional sports. 1. Deion 2. Bo, close second b/c of injury 3. Jordan 4. Lance 5. Gretzky
  17. Dead on, and Donahoe is a marketing genius. Keep the guys that put butts in seats and it doesn't matter if you win or lose. I cannot see this team winning more than 6. Rookie QB, Questionable line, our O is going to be not so good.
  18. Pats 13-3 Jets 11-5 Bills 6-10 Fish 6-10
  19. Where is Deion Sanders? Here's a guy who logged 641 professsional MLB games and 172 pro football games. He's a shoe in for the hall of fame for football. Two SB rings, ranked second in SB's twice in MLB, was in the top 10 in triples three times.
  20. So the Eagles lose him for half the season and struggle without him, then he comes back and still makes his normal pay but lose all that revenue if they don't get HFA and risk not making the SB. Bad move by the Eagles in my mind if they don't get this deal done. I mean if they do it they are pretty much guaranteeing themselves playoff money. And it's a hell of a lot more than TO is asking for.
  21. I think they would have made the playoffs they wouldn't have had HFA without TO. Would they have won in the playoffs without it? I question it only because they would have been facing dome teams in their house. TO brought all the extra revenue to the Eagles throughout the season by giving them homefield. This helped the Eagles get to the Super Bowl which brings in a ton of revenue in merchandise sales.
  22. Why is it OK for the owners to bend and twist the rules when they no longer want a player but it's not for the players when they no longer like their contracts? Why does TO have to kowtow to an the Eagles if he feels he deserves more? Where would the Eagles have landed if they didn't have TO last year and where will they end up without TO last year? What TO is doing may change the NFL pay structure across the board. He's standing up for what he thinks is right and I say he's doing the right thing. Something needs to change in the NFL, the owners shouldn't have as much control over these players contracts as they do. There is no guarantee for these players which is just absolutely ridiculous in a game this violent.
  23. the prep is the worst part. Once they drug you you don't feel a thing. Oh yeah, Steven A Smith is, quite frankly, a joke. If I turn on SC or whatever and he's on, I turn it off. He brings nothing to the table.
  24. but he looks at you with those "don't question me" eyes so that must mean he's really smart.
