Agreed. Gregg-o's D is actually decent at confusing and bullying weak and/or inexperienced QBs. That's basically ALL it's good at doing. Josh is going to get some weird and difficult looks right out of the gate. Hopefully he's up to the challenge but it's possible we don't see him really thrive until midseason.

Item 2 isn’t really true. There were lots of grumblings that the special perks he carved out for himself in his contract poisoned the locker room. I recall something about him being the only player allowed to play music at his locker and it rubbed a lot of players the wrong way. And then when he started mailing it in but was taking home the biggest paycheck, players started carping anonymously to the media and everything began to fray. Ritchie, when he was here, was by all accounts a team guy.

Let's hope Johnson isn't too hardon him.

He’ll be ready for week one and is having a monster preseason.

He looks out of shape to me. It’s a concern.

The last guys at those position groups have to play special teams to make the squad.

I am 42 years old and I still love it when someone takes me out for ice cream.

It’s so hard to see a guy like that sticking around in today’s nfl. He is so mentally far away from being able to play, it would take years of coaching and investment to get him to where he’d be able to possibly be a third string QB. And in the meantime you waste scout team reps and lose the opportunity to develop other skill position players on the PS. What’s the point? I get that there are some UB homers on this board who want to see him succeed but you’ve got to face reality. He has no purpose on this roster. He’d be far better off going to a developmental league for a few years.
