  1. Yep, my thoughts exactly. He'll go to Philly at 21.
  2. If he's healthy, that isn't such a bad idea, on a 1-year minimum risk type contract.
  3. Franchise LTs? You get maybe one a year. They are usually taken in the top 5. We will likely get ours next year....with the 1st overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft...
  4. I was sitting at the 20 yard line, opposite that play. Don't have to remind me of that one. I also watched him dominate Umineoyra in 2007.
  5. Walker does not have the footwork to play LT. He will get beaten by speed rushers. So, we now need to keep a back in to help on the left side, one less outlet for Trent.
  6. Noone is leaving. Sorry. Peters was a legit franchise LT. They don't grow on trees.
  7. Totally agree with this.
  8. Yep, Peters single-handedly shut down Osi Umeyoria. Umeyoria could not function against Peters. Then Peters got hurt, Umeyora dominated, we folded and the NYG went on to win the super bowl.
  9. I've watched every friggin game of this team's since 1987, never missed one. I wore my colors last year at the Meadowlands, after the stupid call on JP, I still wore em proud. Today, I have never felt more disgusted or embarassed to be a bills fan. This shows absolutely no commitment to winning at all.
  10. Thats how to build an OL, I'm jealous.
  11. How the f--- do you know this? Peters wanted to get paid, that I know.
  12. How do you know that? You don't think if the Bills said "OK" to one of the multiple contract proposals Parker and Peters presented, he would not have signed? The bills are a cheap ass organization with a full-blown commitment to mediocrity.
  13. Nope, never humiliated. My team played and lost, it happens. Its football. Nope, not at all. My opinion on Jauron would never have made me embarassed to be a fan of this team like today did. Believe me, I have never made a statement like that before and don't take it lightly. This trade proves that there is absolutely no commitment to winning from that organization.
  14. Can he block Richard Seymour?
  15. This is awful, simply awful. Who the F--- is going to play LT now? How about LG? You finally find a pro bowl LT after searching since 1993 (wil Wolford) and now this is how you treat the man? This organization is completely ridiculous. Yeah, we saved $1.5 million, cash to cap wahhhh!!!! We have draft picks!!! Wahhh....friggin ridiculous. This is the first day in my 33 years of life I can honestly say I am friggin embarassed to be a Bills fan!
  16. One of the worst deals I've seen. Pay the franchise LT franchise LT money. We will never have a winning organization with this type of bs attitude.
  17. Nooooo!!!! F$%k sh*t organization! A first round f*cking pick and some crap 2nd day pick for a 2x pro bowl LT? Pay him the friggin money. I hate this chickens*t organization!!
  18. I like that sign, would make a great T-shirt.
  19. And thats exactly the point. These are not Federal issues, never should have been. If NC wants to spend money to figure out how to reduce the odor from pig manure, go right ahead. Form a coalition with other states that have the same problem, each contribute pro rata and figure it out. Why is this a Federal issue? Same with the NY winegrower...state issue, state problem. This is exactly the type of shite that needs to be completely eliminated from the Federal level. There is much less accountability, oversight and far more waste when funneled through the black hole that is Washington than if these programs had been done on a local or statewide level. I'm not against the merits of the programs, I'm sure most can be marginally justified in some manner, but just that the Federal government has no business being involved here.
  20. True. This is not a Republican issue. Hell, they were worse than the Dems when it came to spending. It cost the Republicans, big time. However, there is a strong undercurrent of anger at higher taxes and unsustainable spending, even though it may be misdirected at the new administration. My guess is one of two things happens... 1- Force the Dem Congress and Obama to restrain spending, like Clinton did after Ross Perot's strong run in the popular vote in 1992. 2- This issue will be the ones Republicans seize upon to regain some power in the midterms. If they are smart, they will hammer the Dems on taxes and spending at every turn. They will need to apologize for past transgressions in their own taxes and spending ways, but a "Return to Party's Roots" theme with respect to limited government would work well for them. Either way, its good for those of us who actually believe in limited government and low taxes.
  21. I think this is likely as well. Ayers and Pettigrew in the 1st. OG in the 3rd.
  22. Thanks Nick. And thanks for sharing your knowledge about this.
  23. Hey Nick, any truth to the assetions in this piece. Doesn't seem to me to be supported by any facts whatsoever. But I figured I would ask. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/johann-hari/...o_b_155147.html
