  1. Since birth...Bills, Sabres, Yankees, Duke Basketball
  2. Exactly. And this teenager will have to answer for it every time he is googled or on almost any job interview because the newspaper decided to name him (with the news department voting 7-0 to include his name). Nice guys there.
  3. The stigma, yes, but it would not likely show up on Google search in 20 years when the kid applies for a job. Thats the problem I have. Branding a 15 year old kid with a permanent scarlet letter for one, apprently isolated, act of stupidity.
  4. This article is hysterical. Had me laughing out loud on the train this morning. No easy feat given how hungover I was. Here is the link to the actual site... http://www.textsfromlastnight.com/ And some examples...
  5. I don't think they should have printed his name at all. Yes, he did his act in full public view of many people. But to have this story follow the kid around for oh...the next 30 or so years is wrong. Most jobs run Google searches on you before being hired. I assume many colleges may do likewise in the admissions process. To force this kid to explain this away as a youthful indiscretion for the forseeable future is wrong, IMHO. How many of us would have liked our stupidest decisions made when we were 15-17 years old printed in the local paper and searchable by Google forcing us to explain them to potential employers for years to come? I disagree completely with their secondary reason that he is some type of "role model," just because he is an athlete. That is bupkus.
  6. Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out in the scalpers market. I usually buy scalped tix to see the Bills play the Jets every year. I rarely pay more than $100 and am usually between the 20s in the lower bowl.
  7. Believe me, there is not much of a price difference and a huge quality difference between a good off-the-rack and a custom. I get my customs for approx $650-800 depending on the fabric.
  8. Cool. And Nelson Blue...I've been known to hang out there on ocassion, but my boss loves the place. Pauly and Jamey are buddies of his. Great place.
  9. Have fun dealing with the tourist crowds, especially after November 1. I love working downtown and dread the day I may have to go to midtown.
  10. See, I've found their stuff to be poorly made. It just doesn't wear well. For suits, I get them custom tailored now. Fits like a glove, wears very well (sewn right there) and free adjustments for life. Price is actually not too bad depending on the fabric you pick.
  11. Would that be carnal knowledge?
  12. While we fight amongst ourselves, the incumbants of both parties rob us blind. Convenient distractions.
  13. I see your points in bold above, and acknowledge the same points in my rip of Donahoe. But Mike Williams ate himself out of the league. He did not work hard at all in Buffalo and was known as a soft, but talented, player. So the failure to work hard was on Williams. He could have been a good G for Buffalo, but had no desire to do anything except eat. So, yeah, I rip Williams and have no respect for him. I wish Mr. Wilson still had his money back and we had our #4 overall back. If Williams had worked hard in Buffalo and become a good G, I would have no problem with Williams. I'd say the front office messed up taking him #4 overall, but hey, thats not Williams fault, he worked hard and now we have a good, although slightly overpaid G. Fine. But he sh*t up his chance in Buffalo. I have no respect for him for that.
  14. Figured there was a margin or error of at least 10 years.
  15. Solid call there! And I totally agree. May even get a restaurant or two.
  16. Question for you...did you start an exercise program at the same time as quitting? I've been thinking about quitting myself, but work a fairly sedentary job and have two little ones at home (leaving less time than I would like for an exercise program). You quit and lost weight. Was that part of the plan and were the two co-dependent? Also, did you use any aid (like Chantix, the patch etc.) or go cold turkey? Thanks in advance for your resposne.
  17. Mine too. And I'd be thrilled. I smoke a pack a day, work too much and drink too much...and still 79. Cool. EDIT: And the feedback says I could add 15 years by quitting the smoking..."Smoking cigarettes is just about the worst thing you can do to your health and life expectancy. Please don't kid yourself, smoking greatly increases your risk for heart attack, stroke and numerous different tyes of cancer. Stopping now will add 15 years to your life. "
  18. At least you have the opportunity to sell the crappy investment at a small loss now, rather than invest even more into a losing investment until you are flat broke. Lady luck was shining down on you today.
  19. Ding, ding. F$%* him. I want my 4th overall pick back, thanks. And F*$^ Donahoe...he should have seen that Williams was immature and not picked him. He's paid to make the right decision, especially with #4 overall.
  20. If we end up with Gaithner for our 2 next year, and we sign him to a deal, I would consider this to be one successful offseason.
  21. I appreciate all cultures that give me a reason to go out on a Tuesday or whatever and drink heavily!
  22. Yep. Gotta have a market for the luxury boxes. To my knowledge, our luxury box seating has been filled, but there is scant additional demand. If there was more demand, my guess is the Bills and county/state would add those seats. RWS is rather genius in that it is 2/3 underground and can be refurbished rather easily.
