  1. One of them - as cute as a bunny - might have become the Vice President.
  2. One of them might have become the Vice President.
  3. After Wednesday night's fish fry - CPR?
  4. So...your wish for those that take a view opposite yours - is death. Your liberal tolerance for others is duly noted.
  5. Yep. Hollywood and tv paints a distorted picture of firearms, of handguns. Accurate shooting of a handgun is very, very difficult. Especially under stress - the heart races, the pupils constrict - physiological reactions that take place in an instant. Every now and again, there is a story about police firing off 50, 100 rounds or more in a situation. They get calumny thrown at them after the fact - but the fact is, even with their training, their bodies hunker down into panic mode. I've read here and there that officers have no idea about how many rounds they fired.

  7. Yep. JP's inexpensive as QBs go. And though his merits and demerits have been discussed ad nauseum, I believe there's some level of nail-biting among Bills' fans that he goes to another club and somehow breaks out with a 35 td season. Not likely, I suppose - but who doesn't remember Lamonica?
  8. Well...no. I don't know who Gemma Ward is - but she seems to be a pretty lass. But your dog was a familiar icon. Are you sure you can't change the avatar within 6 months?
  9. Don't forget a shake, soda, or sundae at Parkside Candies!
  10. Is Joey Porter in Vegas again?
  11. The producers of the 2nd Narnia for reasons unfathomable, decided to stick their egos into it, and had the thought that making an inspiring tale just another common, dark slash'em flick, would sell big time. Happens all the time...
  12. I'd guess you are right. See the 1st one - it's readily available. It had a solid story line, plot, which is why folks anticipate the sequel.
  13. Yes - they were decent teams. DET's 70's clubs with Landry, Neumhoff, Karras, Barney, Farr Owens, Charlie Sanders, McCullouch et al were top notch. But like the fine HOU clubs in the'70's that couldn't get past PGH...DET just couldn't get past Bud Grant's MIN clubs.
  14. Yep. I've always disputed with those enamored of Barry Sanders. All the skills in the world, but never a "money" player. It was always about Barry. Those beer commercials several years ago - "Leon" - always made me think of Sanders.
  15. Oh well, then. I guess you are saying they have jumped into the same cesspool. Sad, if so.
  16. Wyche also had Anthony Munoz, James Brooks, David Fulcher, Tim Krumrie, Bruce Kozerski, Max Montoya etc. - a solid team for several seasons. And the HOF member Paul Brown running the club.
  17. No scent lures, calls, or salt licks, I hope...
  18. Were either news reports? You don't get my point. When Fox reports news, they do not interject opinion. Unlike others...for example, have they ever had a news anchor like Dan Rather, thundering about phony Pres. Bush National Guard records for weeks, and hawking it as fact? You think "Fair and Balanced" is a fraud. I think "Budweiser is the King of Beers" is fraud. I can't say what slogan CBS uses, but I assume that is also a fraud. What action do you propose to surpress these statements?
  19. Drugs...the victimless crime.
  20. Cite the incidence, please, then...was that during an op-ed presentation, or a during news report? Educate me...
  21. When, and under what circumstances, did this fellow of the name Riena leave Fox? And then show up on an authoratitive, vetted source such as a "blog"? A "blog" of course, being whatever whim somebody chooses to express at the moment...
  22. How often do you watch their news? What's your preference?
  23. I keep my tire iron in the passenger cabin.
  24. I mentioned about such, here on TSW, a while back. People steal my material all the time...Vaudeville redux..
