  1. Sure seems so. I sense estate planning...
  2. Nice avatar. Wife 'n me just saw "Up" at the cheap seat movies.
  3. The Rhodes re-hire concept... If so, BUF will be like the '90's Bengals - the last place on Earth that any vet would sign with.
  4. They traded with CIN for Andre Smith!
  5. As you say - "Even if I have." You sure have... And I'm not about to go and look up your posts through the years to winnow out the "heartfelt thoughts" from the mean shots at others. Your fingers snap to a deaf ear there. I'm sorry that you expect more out of me, kegtapr. I know I have never made jest about stuttering. You state you expect more out of me. I am expecting more civil behavior from you in general board conversation. Let's bury the hatchet and move on.
  6. That's right. Buy goods now before the coming hyperinflation thanks to this dramatic deficit and the billions of script that the Treasury Dept issues every day.
  7. I guess not. It never stopped you from flinging cruel comments at other TBD members.
  8. See my previous post re MLB responsibilities.
  9. So - should the Bills' coaches chew their fingernails and never call a blitz?
  10. When is the last time you had an eye examination?
  11. People with pleasure craft who choose to occupy a lock with barges are unwise...at best. It's like folks that argue with tractor-trailers on the highway - yes, that semi might well be in the wrong. And then your tombstone says..."He had the right-of-way". A Rule To Live By: Never pick a fight, always give way, to an object that outweighs you by tens or hundreds of tons.
  12. NE* runs most plays out of a shotgun. Send the DTs straight ahead at the snap - you push the pocket back, and can catch a rb. I don't watch a lot of NE* games, but I don't recall them pulling their guards much - correct me if I'm wrong. I'd send the LDE in - they don't seem to run to the right much, and charge the MLB with watching that middle pass Brady loves so much.
  13. No idea. The only Bills' preseason game I saw on tv was the HOF one. No Maybin. I did "watch" on the CBS/NFL.com game center thing when he played in the PGH preseason game. As the game wore on, PGH figured out how to stuff the rookie. My 1st look will be in the upcoming Sunday tilt against NE*.
  14. I wonder what the difference is between MA and CA state income taxation...and if the township/city/county, wherever the OAK clubhouse resides (his place of employment) sticks him with 2 or 3 percent, or more, local tax off the top.
  15. I resent the fact that the Golf Channel takes up one of my cable channel spots.
  16. They might flash the big cash at U of Cin's Brian Kelly. He's a hot item, especially so after the road smack down at Rutgers yesterday.
  17. During the OU game broadcast, there was some "facts" displayed about the screens. - It uses "30,000 lightbulbs". - It weighs 1.2 million pounds (that's 600 tons). I'm skeptical...
  18. Our roster is set Time to coach what you now have Please don't play what if.
  19. Sure, it's risky, keeping two. But every team has to play the 53-man, 45-dressing game. Their choice was to keep another position player on the active roster until Lynch returns. When Shaud Williams was the 3rd rb - how much action did he see? It's a dice roll, but personally if I were calling the shots, I'd do what they did - they have some thinness and question marks at other spots. There's many ways to slice up the roster - CIN chose to keep both DD Dorsey and Brian Leonard, and only 1 FB. Dorsey and Leonard both did well in pre-season, and Dorsey showed ST flashes. They have a 2 week exemption for that whale they drafted in the #6 spot, but I think they will keep Dorsey on the team. In any event, it's time to coach and play the players you have. Time to park the "what ifs?" Go with what you got...
  20. I agree. Vacating a conference title - perhaps. But coaching wins? AFAIK, Bowen never tackled anybody when he was coaching or hurled a td strike...
  21. I figure at this point, Walt is spinning at about 5,000 rpm in his grave...
