  1. Try to watch the 5pm ET newscast on https://www.wmur.com/#. I'm going to be on.
  2. WHLD is mostly satellite programming. That isn't going to do anything. WNSA put a decent dent into WGR. What killed them off was owner John Rigas going to jail.
  3. He practically does that now. WGR let's him work from home using an AoIP link. But when you've been on the air for 30 years you get those concessions.
  4. Fans will show up. The stadium will be full Saturday. It's just some will have paid less for their tickets. What you won't see are any Patriots fans, which is kind of nice.
  5. The problem is creating a REAL competitor to WGR would cost more than any of the usual broadcast companies in Buffalo are willing to spend. But I am convinced a new sports station in Buffalo, one that does more than throw ESPN or Fox Sports on off a satellite, would do great.
  6. Guess what? The local TV news is doing a story on fans making the drive to Buffalo for the game. I'll be repping #BillsMafia. Watch at 5pm ET today at https://www.wmur.com/#
  7. Inertia. Doing a job forever with little or no competition.
  8. How do you look at those empty corners and think it's full? Talk about denial.
  9. Here the thing though. No one has priced exactly what a dome would cost. But we do know that an open air stadium with heated grass field, heated seats and a canopy over all seating areas is expected to run $1.4B. Why not have some designs done of both and compare?
  10. Buffalo State Comm majors.
  11. Just make sure they are either Sahlen's or Zweigle's.
  12. Dr. Andrew Cappuccino, the guy who saved Bills TE Kevin Everett, is the Sabres consultant. He's one of the doctors that developed the ADR procedure Eichel wanted so bad. He also performed more ADR surgeries than any other surgeon. So the guy has some credibility on the matter. He felt that the procedure is too risky for NHL players who could get slammed head-first into the boards.

  14. I just checked. They close at 9pm now. But you were right. They used to be open 24/7.
  15. Obviously the Bills take precedence. But I like watching the Sabres too. Don Granato is their McDermott. It's just that they are still at square one. Long way to go still.
  16. There used to be a lot of late night/all night food places in Buffalo. I guess COVID took care of that.
  17. The Bayou is supposed to be open until 2am. https://www.facebook.com/thebuffalosbayou
  18. They won yesterday, They are ready to bust out! 5 stages of Patriot fandom Tuesday: We don't have much of a chance. Wednesday: Look! $29 tickets! BillsMafia are FRAUDS! Thursday: You know Josh Allen and the Bills really aren't that good. Friday: Bills suck! We got Belichick. We have the next Tom Brady. Allen can't play in the cold. We beat 'em once. We'll beat 'em again! Sunday morning: Any QB's we can target in the draft?
  19. A new @chrisco11ins video dropped. 😄
  20. Prices are actually trending up. They bottomed out at $29 yesterday. Now back up to $40. People are buying. The stadium will look full. There might be a few pockets of unsold seats. Hopefully it will be 100% BillsMafia. #NoPatsFans
  21. Boston media loves mocking Bills Mafia for cheap tickets but it's not like there's a bunch of Pats fans making the trip. There are often thousands of Pats fans when they play in Buffalo. I'd be curious to see how many of their fans will be there Saturday. Not many, I bet. I guess that's the silver lining. On one side more less-well-off Bills fans will get the chance to attend a playoff game, on the other there will be few if any opposing fans in our house.
