  1. I agree 100% with your first opinion. As for the second, I agree with MM decision. The only problem was it was too late. He should have tried it in the middle of the third quarter, not when the Bucs were just all out blitzing ala JP vs. NE last year. I don't understand why it's acceptable to pull a pitcher or goaltender, but not a QB. JP's a tough kid, this will not hurt his confidence. If anything it will make him work harder so this never happens again.
  2. No thanks, I do know his stats are poor from 40+ over the past few years. But I find it incomprehensible that the Bills would jeopardize an entire season on a kicker they have no faith in, that just doesn't make sense to me and that's why I am sticking to my theory. If it happens more times than not this year, then I will eat crow and admit I was wrong. But I just can't buy into the confidence factor.
  3. TY, exactly my point. First year coaching mistakes, I think MM learned a lot from last year.
  4. I don't want all that statistical crap, don't know where you got that from. All I am saying is all the assumptions are just that, and we all know what happens when you assume.
  5. I think everyone is putting too much emphasis on the coaching staff not having confidence in Lindell. Has Malarky ever said anything about his confidence in Lindell that I missed? I think it boils down to a first year coach playing it safe. Nothing to do with confidence in the kicker, rather pinning your opponent deep and letting your defense do it's job.
  6. Well I made it through about 1/4 of that first novel (holy crap that was long ), so I hope I don't repeat anything. let's not underestimate the difference a long snapper can make. Cutting Dorenbas (whatever) could be the best thing for Lindell. He had a bullet snap and some kickers do not adapt to that well, I think we will see many more 40+ yard field goals this year.
  7. If If's and Buts were candy and nuts, we would all have a Merry Christmas. I thought game one was similar to last years opener. Houston had a good defense and unproven offense, much like Jax. But Buffalo came out and could have scored 40 had their red zone efficiency been better. You do have a point about making mistakes and that's how DB killed us last year. JP doesn't have to win this game, just don't lose it by making bad decisions. I think we win this game 16 - 10.
  8. I'm in 119 and the left side of my back is toasted...it was hot!! Definitely hotter than 75, don't know were that came from.
  9. Plus the fact that some idiots in the scoreboard endzone were trying to get the wave going when the Bills had the ball. Can some one tell there morons that we only do the wave when the Bills are on D!!!! I've scolded many band members on the tunnel side for this non-sense....
  10. HUH?? I agree with the flee-flicker part, but you lost me after that dude.
  11. Haven't been at TBD in a while and it's great to be back, I so missed all the negativity. Please, someone give me a DOOOOMED!!! If you think JP will out gain Wills, then you very lucky your only 15 rows up. With that kind of disorientation you'd be a risk in the upper deck.....
  12. This game is eerily similar to last year's opener. An up and coming team, young unproven QB, good D, and nice RB. But with Nate's shoulder hurting, this year he'll just knock the ball down instead of going for the INT!!!! Bills win - 16-10...
  13. Great point! I forgot about the Colts 0-4 PRE-season, their DOOOOOMED!!!!
  14. I just love all these pre-season predictions. If you think the Bills will go 6-10, don't watch. It would be a waste of your time! 3.1 yards a carry in PRE-season, jump off that wagon now! Give me a break! The Patriots just go whipped, I guess their season is over. I don't even like to watch PRE-season games for this reason, you just don't know!! I will be there on the 11th when we win and can't wait to here all the SB predictions on this site after.
  15. Bradley also goes onto say that the reporters were racist because they interviewed him first when this news first broke, but of course it had nothing to do with Kent not being in the locker room at the time. Give me a break, he also cries about the percentage of African American players in MLB is too low. This dude has serious issues!! He was an idiot in Cleveland and he just moved to LA with the same attitude. Mix another idiot, Kent, in the picture and it makes for good reporting. Next Bradley will try increase the number of African Americans in the NBA as it is too low. I wish the guy would just shut up....
  16. First of all that would be BILLSB, really doesn't fit. Second, it's been 15 years since the Bills SB run. How about making an acronym that states "Because I want to go back to the Super Bowl!!!" Lets go BIWTGBTTSB's!!!!!!
  17. If you live your life in fear, the terrorists win! Besides the terrorists we are dealing with are cowards and prefer sneak attacks. The US will be on hightened security on the 11th, especially at events around the nation.
  18. I hope so dude, doesn't look like Brown and Beisel have the smarts to learn the defense. So that's a good sign. Nothing i would like better than to take them down on Sunday night primetime football.....
  19. I would love to agree with you, but the fact is the Patsie's are still the class of the AFC. I hate to say it and I wish it weren't true, but until we beat them (and I believe we will) there's not much we can say. This board puts way too much emphasis on the preseason.
  20. Hootie was at the Erie Basin Marina in Buffalo a few weeks back. The main reason I went was "The Great Train Robbery" played before them. This band rocks, check them out if you ever get the chance. As for Hootie, I admit the covers were pretty good, they did "add it up", "surrender", and "Keep your hands to yourself." But their new album was pretty lame, sounded very country'ish. The show seemed to drag and they only played a little over an hour.
