I agree, good call to go for it on 4th. Sends a message to the team that we are going for the throat. It's only a bad call if you don't make it, which unfortunately happened. If they go for the field goal and miss or there's a bad snap, everyone on this board would be screaming that they should have gone for it. It's great being a Monday morning quarterback, you're never wrong!!!

I think A-train should have had some touches in the 2nd half, but there is no way he should start over Willis. I don't think WM was the same after Harrison made his patent helmet to helmet hit late in the first half. Of course 1 penalty is plenty for NE. That's actually why A-Train was in there for consecutive downs. Also might explain why Wm didn't realize it was 4th down.

And I agree, it was fun to watch the first half. I cranked up the volume when the boo birds came out at half, that was great...

Hey, losing frustrated me as well. Ask my wife, as I dropped the F bomb several times today (mostly in the 2nd half). But the truth is that this team is not a Super Bowl calliber team, it's not even a playoff team. But from the play of some young talented players, it won't be long until we are back.

Bottom line is the Bills played a lot better than anyone could have anticipated. Could they have won the game....Of course Should they have won the game....YES Did they learn a tough lesson today....Oh yeah I am dissapointed that we lost, but I feel good about our performance. This is an extremely young team playing a veteran team and it showed. The big question is, can they bounce back next week? I think they can and will show up against the phins.

Actually you take the points at home and go for the win on the road. We get a TD there and we probably win that game. I like the call.

The difference was a veteran team against a young team. With more experience this team is going to be better than anticipated. Good showing by the Bills, nothing to be embarrassed about. Lets skin some phins next week!!!!

I was at the game, probably a little over 15,000 in attendance. I really like the coaching staff. They made some excellent calls, unfortunately UB does not have the talent to execute them. Give Gil a few more years and I think he can build a respectable program.

Pre-season stats do not mean anything to a Tom Brady or Payton Manning. But for a young unproven QB fighting for a starting job, you better believe they matter. If JP had completed under 50% the stats would have definitely mattered, as he wouldn't be starting. So while pre-season has a lot of useless stats, don't be fooled in thinking they are all useless.

That makes the near 70% completion percentage all the more impressive.

Actually if the Bills are in a situation where they need a 3rd stringer, it would be nice to have Holcomb.
