  1. Laci Peterson wasn't bad looking, but neither was she a beauty queen.
  2. It will be VERY tought for Pittsburgh to come to Buffalo and win. The Bills are made for winning late in the year. We have a dominant running game in the form of McGahee. We have a strong defense. We have a strong-armed QB. Unfortunately, the Steelers also have a strong running game, a better defense than ours, and a strong-armed QB. But we have Moorman. If the Steelers come to play, that should be a GREAT game, whoever wins. That said, I really, really, really hope it's the Bills that win.
  3. The problem is, that if Moulds can't catch passes when he's being single covered, is he worth $8 million in cap space next year? Yes, the conditions were lousy, and yes, the throws were sometimes a little off. But he needs to catch those anyway.
  4. The Mularkey hire made sense. The Gregg hire didn't make sense for a lot of reasons; one of which was we already had a competent defensive coaching staff in place. Our coaching problems were with offense and special teams.
  5. I don't know when that movie is scheduled to come out, but it would be nice to see it around Halloween. That's when I'd be most in the mood for something like that.
  6. I agree. As much as I hate to say this, I'll be rooting for the Patriots to beat the Jets. I HATE the thought of rooting for the Patriots, but I'll grin and bear it, because it's what's best for the Bills.
  7. I agree that beating the Steelers' starters would be more . . . emotionally satisfying. But beating the Steelers in a meangless (for them) game would be just as useful as far as getting into the playoffs; while also being more likely to occur.
  8. Hey, I never called Vegas to bet on a Dolphins win.
  9. Why would I prefer a team that doesn't care? Because I'm not Don Quixote. Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing. Whatever gives us the best chance of winning (provided it's ethical) is what we should hope for.
  10. You're right, K-gun. Besides that, it doesn't feel like a rivalry with the Dolphins this year, because they stink so badly.
  11. I'm not happy about rooting for the Dolphins either. But the bottom line is that a Dolphins win would help us.
  12. I can't believe he's this close to 1000 already. Go Willis!!
  13. The Dolphins are playing the Patriots this coming Sunday. A Patriots loss would make the Steelers' final game of the season meaningless. Um, um, ahem . . . go fish!!!
  14. What does it matter what we focus on or don't focus on? We're fans, not players.
  15. I think what Rayzer is trying to do is give us some confidence we can go toe-to-toe against the Pats. It seems to me the Bills really need that confidence. Not that any of us are actual players, but it's still a good post.
  16. Just because there were no upsets this week doesn't guarantee anything about next week. There is a small chance all five scenarios could happen. Then again, there is a small chance that only zero or one of them will happen.
  17. There is always a chance that four of them will happen, but I'm really not expecting Seattle to do anything against the Jets.
  18. It will indeed be cold . . . as cold as Hillary Clinton in bed.
  19. Jacksonville is the team that's playing next week in Green Bay. If they lose that game, we don't have to worry about them anymore. Denver has away games at KC and Tennessee before finishing the season at home against Indianapolis.
  20. They're 4-9 and they're STILL alive. C'mon, this is ridiculous!!!
  21. Does anyone other than me find that fact ridiculous? I've never seen the NFC this weak. [edit] actually, Arizona is 4-9 [/edit]
  22. Agreed that the Ravens are playing better than a lot of other teams in the hunt, but I think their schedule will keep them out.
  23. I just got done reading that thread. Glad to see we have the tiebreaker over the Jets.
  24. There are a bunch of teams competing for those two wildcard positions: Baltimore: they play Indianapolis and Pittsburgh. Assuming they lose those two games, they're done. Their last game of the season is--ugh!-against the same Miami team that failed to help us this week. Jacksonville: They require just one more loss to be done. With a road game at Green Bay, they might accomplish that goal this coming week. Their other two games are home against Houston, and away against Oakland. Denver: I'm not sure who has the tiebreaker between us and them. They have five losses so far, and it would be nice if they could work their way up to seven. They are scheduled for a week 17 loss against Indianapolis, assuming that game means something to Indy. Before then, they have road games against Kansas City and Tennessee. Jets: Those jerks have lost just four games. They're scheduled to lose a week 16 game against New England. But in order to at least break even with us, they'll also have to find a way to lose their home game against Seattle or on the road against St. Louis. I don't know who will have the tiebreaker if we both finish 10-6. I'd say our biggest threats are Denver and the Jets.
