  1. Now we need to have Pittsburgh win to have 3 out of our strongest 4 playoff opponents lose.
  2. San Diego win. Nice!!
  3. I see that San Diego has called a timeout to add to the suspense.
  4. Nice! I got the Plummer INT I asked for. Now let's see if San Diego's offense will obey my wishes and actually do something. What I really want them to do is run out the clock.
  5. I have to admit Philly looks like a team on a mission. But you never know; someone could surprise them in the playoffs.
  6. Looks like Denver will at least get a tying field goal. San Diego's offense needs to wake up and do something.
  7. You're probably right.
  8. I hope you're right. It's about time Plummer threw another INT.
  9. Those Denver jerks are driving AGAIN!!
  10. Denver just scored a TD. Not good . . .
  11. The Dolphins have been playing a lot harder since that interim coach took over. Bear in mind that at in the offseason, there were people picking them to win the Super Bowl. Granted, that was before Rickey retired, Boston got hurt for the year, they traded away Ogonguleye, and some other bad stuff happened. Also those guys would have been wrong anyway, because you can't build an O-line with players like St. Clair. But still. The Dolphins are a better team than their record indicates. If they were in the NFC West, they'd probably be 8-8 (they are 2-2 against NFC West teams). Even teams like Pittsburgh and New England sometimes have close wins against inferior teams.
  12. Cincy's faint hopes for a playoff spot will be brutally crushed next week by New England. On the other hand, if Cincy happens to win, that would give Pittsburgh one less reason to play us hard in the season finale. Either way, the outcome of that game will benefit Buffalo.
  13. Seems to me I've been hearing this for a while now.
  14. The fact that everyone wants to use a second round pick on a kicker says a lot about how far our O-Line has come since McNally arrived.
  15. He has an $8 million cap figure for next year. That's unacceptable. He's not the same player he was two years ago, and Lee Evans may already be better. The offensive line needs continuity if it's going to be good, so it would make sense for the Bills to keep Jennings if his price is reasonable.
  16. I don't see any problem with the Jets losing to NE or Pittsburgh. But for them to lose three of their last four, they need to also lose to someone from the NFC West (either Seattle or St. Louis). While I'd love for that to happen, I have the feeling it's not going to. This means that for us to get to the playoffs, everyone besides the Jets has to lose out. As someone pointed out, teams like Denver, Baltimore, and Jacksonville have tough schedules from now until the end of the year, so it could happen.
  17. There is actually a chance that Mularkey and co. will do the same thing for Drew they did for Kordell and Tommy. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but a game like today makes you wonder.
  18. To me, there are three big contenders for the two wildcard spots: the Jets, the Broncos, and the Ravens. Of those three, at least two need to be knocked out. In addition, the minor contenders (the Jacksonvilles of the world) need to be knocked out of contention too. Hopefully, the Chargers win against the Broncos, giving 2 of the big 3 losses on the day.
  19. I have to admit that I'm thinking ahead to next year, when the Bills will probably have to choose between losing Moulds or Jonas Jennings. The only way Moulds can stay is if he agrees to a pay cut.
  20. Good point about Harper and Price. Someone said that you need both a possession receiver, and a deep burner. I agree, though I think the deep burner may be the harder of the positions to fill. In 2002, Moulds had a ton of 100 yard games when he was here. That was with Peerless and Drew. Now he has Evans and Drew. Why isn't he getting those 100 yard games anymore?
  21. On a day when the Bills' defense allowed an AJ Feely-led offense to score 32 points, Drew Bledsoe threw 4 TDs to go with his 0 INTs, his 64% completion percentage, and his 277 yards. Against a very good pass defense and on the road, I might add. Only 24.5% of those passing yards were because of Moulds, meaning Drew is learning to spread the ball. Say whatever you want about how Drew has played in the past, or how he is likely to play in the future. Today was a good day for him.
  22. Now we need to root for San Diego to beat Denver.
  23. It seems to me that when Peerless was here, Eric had a lot of 100 yard games. Now that Evans is here to stretch defenses, you'd think Moulds'd be having a lot of 100 yard games again. He hasn't and to me that's a sign he's declined.
  24. What I'm saying is this: if I'm Eric Moulds, any time I get open the ball will be thrown my way, because I'm the first guy Drew looks at. But if I'm Lee Evans, I'll only get the ball thrown my way some of the time after getting open, because I'm the second or third option.
  25. Yeah, but a lot of that is because Drew has a tendency to look first to Moulds before he looks to Evans.
