I don’t remember if GB played elsewhere. The Vikings moved to the University of Minnesota while their stadium was being built. It is idealistic to believe that the stadium can be completely redone in 8 months with 3 of those months being January, February and March.  The Bills aren’t looking for cosmetic upgrades. They need to redivide the entire stadium to match up the best locations with ammentiites. A “new” version of the stadium will look nothing like what we are accustomed to. I am not sure that can be done in the short term and there isn’t a facility to house them. I suppose they could play in Toronto but we all know how well that will go over.

When the stadium was built the construction continued during January, February, & March just like the weight room addition going on now. Shelters or work areas were enclosed with chicken mesh in plastic along with heaters were used. Of course how fast any remodel would be completed would be determined by how extensive the amount of work that has to be done.  On a side note the weight room addition steel structure has been up for a month, rubber roof was put on last week, all exterior green board is done and this week installation of the wall of windows facing Abbott Road has started. The Pegulas put in $18 million last year & another $18 million this year into the stadium complex.

You might as well go to Danny's - good parking, good food, drink specials - and short walk to the Stadium.

This is the  first time I've ever heard Danny's and Good Food used in the same sentence.

No invite here. 2.5 billion is only a fraction of the real debt! Doesn’t look good!

Are you talking about the 3 billion dollars Plus Mario and Andy owe the Workers Comp Fund??? I guess there will be more than one meeting of the Fans Stadium Focus group. I think Bills season ticket invoices we be sent out within a week.

  4. A guy I know put on an addition to his house for his friend er alligator (Al) While the old addition was torn down Al was housed in a temporary fenced in area in the yard. Even thou I was on the roof, and there was no way Al could get me, and he eats cooked food, I was still freaking out as Al was watching me. Al is about 10'-12' long. The guy raised Al from a baby and puts his face (kiss) right up to to Al's. Al loves country music. Al would cry out at the sound of trash truck and UPS truck. USPostal workers rejoice! From what I understand, chances crocodiles will turn on before alligators. No Thanks.

  5. No need to buy a dog. We fostered a springer spaniel last year. Nice dog but to much energy. A couple came from Michigan, adopted him they are doing great. Second foster we met Allie. 2 year old female black lab/boxer. Knew all the commands but has separation anxiety issues, mainly from my wife! We adopted her. Great dog. Plays with neighbors male white lab no problem. Highly recommended checking out rescue organizations.

New stadium with retractable roof. Only one question pertaining to that.

Old guy here will not go to many games. Put a dome on a new stadium and I’ll purchase a Loge for 3-7 years, might even buy a 30 year PSL and will it to my kids.

I cannot stand the drive, the elements and massive cluster ***** of leaving the stadium. Offer me entertainment venues and restaurants and we stay after the game.

Pegulas need to stop with this dinosaur in Orchard Park and build a stadium closer to Buffalo, not in a friggin cow pasture.

It was actually built on wheat fields. The ECC side was corn and sometime cabbage fields.

You don't know where to park for quick out.

It can be a scam, but it's also a way of taxing people who will use a facility to pay for said facility. Seems kind of fair, no?  Really you are lending money to the Pegulas to finance construction. Would be nice if they eventually refunded the money. But stadiums are expensive, and if you don't want tax money paying for all of it (will definitely be a part of it) then those who will use the facility have to chip in.

Don't bet on it.  Renovation will still cost 50-70% of new construction.

I live in NH. I chose downtown with a roof. (Sorry, Hammer.)  I hit 60 and don't want to freeze my saggy nuts anymore.

I hope your tax dollars pay for it! Wear some underwear so your not dragging.

I was hoping they would expand about new stadium location. I would love it to be downtown Buffalo but wanted to stress about parking and accessibility so I ended up just saying to keep it in OP

Very smart. With the candian dollar weak ( $1.33 = $1.00 US) any talk of hotels being filled after a game at a downtown stadium is hogwash.  With improvements at the peace bridge, Rep Brian Higgins said crossing time will be cut in half when current improvements are complete. One thing to considered parking now is in a centralized area. Easy to police. Orchard Park has a low crime rate. Buffalo parking scattered all over the place. Buffalo crime rate now, not so low. The rail line in Buffalo is only 4 miles.

  10. Thank You to some of you who tailgated in Hammers Lot at the Two Bills Drive Party. A big THANK YOU to Mead for working the parking thread and helping out in the lot. This year tailgaters came from far and near. I hope you all had a good time. This year we also saw players family members (seems like the players gf like a guy in a kilt!) and some former Bills players in the lot, Lee Evans, Eric Wood. Shawn Merriman, and Arron Williams who shot Episode One of his tailgating show in the lot. A couple of TBD ers are now famous. Also a couple of episodes of WGRZ's Meet the Mafia were shot in the lot. While I improved the back of the lot in 2018,  2019 will see improvements to in front of the shed. 40 days of rain in 30 days really sucked and it took its toll. Once again Thank You, Be Well and See you in 2019. I remain, Hammered A Lot
