If there is a choice between funding education, medical care, elderly care, public safety and the public funding of a stadium for a billionaire the priority should be to use the tax dollars for public needs. That is not to say some money shouldn't be allocated for a stadium but the bulk of the money required to build a stadium should be the responsibility of the owners of the team. Some priorities are obviously more essential than others.

I had to go to Buffalo General Hospital last week. 80 percent of the roads sucked. Pot holes, poor patch jobs just a very rough ride. Not enough Buffalo police cars so their talking about saving money and leasing them! Buffalo is so broke they can't afford losing valuable land & the  property tax money it provides.

They must have sold a lot in the past day. Tuesday night when I first looked, my entire section (238) was available.

Checked today only 2 resale tickets available in sec 238.  Using the map feature on ticket master and looks like this show will sell out.

Great point. We should help our own first before doing what seems to be attention grabbing donations out of state (not saying they are designed to be attention grabbers but at the end of the day it is and could be translated to LAMP)

With that said, CashApp is the best as there are no fees. They guy will receive 100% of what you send him! I'll send him $5...not much but imagine if we all sent $5.

I'm shocked that a shock jock shocked a community with some shocking comments. He must of went to the Howard Simon/Roger Christin school of Shock Jockery!  I think the younger thin skinners just got to let it go. Stop being so sensitive. Grow some.

Maybe she’ll be one of the honorary squirters during the Hammer Lot ketchup ceremony at a game next year?

Kim Pegula went on her twitter page and asked were The Tailgaters were. She was invited to Hammers Lot but instead went to a lot called Kimmies which was on the other side of the wood fence she had constructed at One Bills Drive. The fence was put up to upgrade the image (hide the pile of crap at bills mafia house) going down One Bills Drive. Terry earlier this year knocked on the door of one of the houses whose property boarded stadium property and asked how they liked the fence. Terry had no clue the fence was constructed. Kim had it built with Terry's (not taxpayer) money.

I appreciate the fact that they were proactive when it came to dealing with some of the tailgating behavior that had been getting out of hand. Not by hiring a company to run security but rather a set of rules and regulations, holding the fans in the parking lots around the stadium accountable and responsible. They also got involved in the experience. Is it cooler hanging out with Kim on game day or jumping through a table on fire? The vision Kim and Terry have for not just the Bills and the Sabres but all of Buffalo is progressive and cutting edge. Best owners in all of sports that represent Buffalo so well. I am proud to be a fan of this team.

The Bills let the stupid stuff get out of control in their lit. Remember the dizzy bat guy who ran into the front of the bus? They should have cracked down on the bus lot right away where a lot of this crap took place.  Unfortunately  they did not and the stupid culture was allowed to blossom. They allowed bus loads of college students into their lot. They had no game tickets. There were problems. From what I heard from some of the lots that allowed buses on there property there was minimal problems. They set rules and Enforced them not letting the bus riders take control in like the Bills.

And where was The Hammer for this?  Sounds like a fish tail... ??

NBC uses a local production company for some of their videos. The contact person is actually  a friend of a person I do work for, with another company from time to time. Unfortunately (I know your disappointed) I have no face time in this production as I deferred (my wife had a business tailgate we hosted) and had no time.

Awesome!  Wonder if they’ll do a pregame segment on it.

I should have said pregame Show

Did you check their credentials?  Are you sure they weren't "rogue" operatives sent by the Patriots to steal our tailgating secrets?

The contact girl is local so no worries,

  8. (Ravens vs Bills) to be used Pregame for the Bills vs Steelers game. My contact said it went very well. Besides the usual Kenny shots, I understand other Tailgaters got interviewed. It's up to the cutting room floor to see what will be shown. So if you have not been tailgating at a Bills game perhaps this segment will entice you to come join us next Bills season.

I believe the Bills are now phasing in that policy.

Electronic ticketing now allows the Bills to know how many of the person's tickets are used vs. sold.  Heck, they even know when you arrive in the stadium.  I know this because in the One Buffalo app my profile shows the notations "Earned home attendance" and "Earned early arrival" for each gameday.

BTW, I'm a STH in the Pittsburgh area and drive 3 hours each way, every week.

Your correct. Ever since electronic ticket scanning has been used, the Bills know what gate you use, what time you enter. The season ticket zip code area (100 mile limit) is an attempt to have more Bills fans attending/cheering than having  visiting fans at Bills games. Don't think that worked for the eagles game. I would not be surprised if in the future your bills card had a chip in it so they could track your movement in the stadium  for security purposes, when you go to bathroom, waiting in concession lines, etc.

If a new stadium is going to be built, regardless where it is located, it will nearly all be on Pegula.

Someone posted awhile back that the Pegulas were discretely buying land around where the current stadium is located. Do you know anything about that? Is there enough land around the current stadium where a new stadium could be built if that was the direction the owners were to take.

I don't think they are buying land around the current stadium. If they were I'd have heard about it by now. Lot 4 is were a baseball stadium was going to be built so one would guess that could be the spot. Lot 3/bus Lot combined with land from ECC south could also work.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...........how 'bout that stadium in Orchard Park? Remember that thread?

Read in today's paper NY state budget is in the hole for $6.1 billion and projected budgets in the future not looking all that healthy.  That does not bode well for infrastructure improvements downtown. Brian Higgins attempted to secure $25 million federal dollars for the next phase of opening Main Street failed last week. Looking like if something is going downtown it will be all on Pegulas.
