  1. When do you get home? The live draft is scheduled for Aug 22 right now
  2. Join up at NFL.com Fantasy Site It was fun last year, I hope some of the same guys come back again. All the scoring rules are set by NFL.com -- so no weird stuff, or weird rosters. EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to give the league name: Two Bills Drive Shouldn't be a password.
  3. and president of one of the campuses of Reformed Theological Seminary where I am working on my Masters.
  4. Last year, I commished a league on nfl.com -- it's nice, with live scoring for free, standardized scoring, live draft Aug 22 @ 10 AM. Come join. It's called "Two Bills Drive" no password.
  5. ... and a Ralph Wilson Super Bowl Teeeeeeaaaaaammmm. I listened to the games on radio growing up. My first game was against the Green Bay Packers. Terry Miller disappeared into the line and came bursting out, untouched after that for a ~45 yard TD run. Bills win, 19-12!
  6. not a 360 ... that means no change of direction. We need a 180 ...
  7. Was Hanks the SF DB that one of the commentators said looked like ET?
  8. Touchbacks should only be out to the 10 yard line -- encourage bringing the ball out of the endzone. Kick/Punt/fumble/INT returns can possibly be the most exciting plays of the game -- great moves, monster hits.
  9. I would find it difficult to believe anyone that said that either QB playing for us last year was NOT in a situation where he was set up to fail. The game planning in the first 4 games last year was not the gameplan for a first time pro QB. By the time MM figured that out, he benched JP and began to run for the bus. The only reason that JP played again last year was because KH got hurt -- and even MM couldn't keep JP out of the lineup the following week.
  10. I think you have to combine a few of those choices into one choice. TD tagged Peerless and traded him to ATL for a #1, which freed up cap space to sign TKO, and gave us a draft pick to take McGahee. Sorry, but this is the biggest move for the Bills since the Cornelius Bennett trade in the late 80s. We may not have had the total payoff from this yet, but it has been a sweet move anyway ... and now we have PP back.
  11. Couldn't be Screetch, he spoke at Clarion University last spring, must have been the younger brother from "Who's the Boss?"
  12. I've never met a kid that didn't like Billy ... Aren't the mascots for the kids? ... For the record, my 2 love Billy People who rate mascots really need some more fiber in their diet
  13. Did anyone notice that the colors are back to the old Red, White & Blue?
  14. This has been my pet peeve with the NFL for years. More often than not, when a down by contact fumble occurs, the whistle doesn't come for at least three or four seconds. I don't think the refs in the NFL blow the whistle very quickly. I believe the change will refer to those quick change of possessions that occur between the time that the ref thinks the player has been tackled and when he blows his whistle. Using TIVO last season, I would go back and check the whistles on those plays and they happen ALL the time.
  15. I wondered if getting a blocking TE in FA spells the end for Shelton. Do the Bills go to the HBack instead of a FB?
  16. Minimart guy recognizing Hurley was just dumb Sayid knowing everything ... ditto Bernard being white ... didn't see that coming!
  17. #2 Just cuz that means we probably score a TD in the 2nd half
  18. Definitely, operant conditioning refers to both positive and negative reinforcement ...
  19. We should talk to Cleveland -- they essentially traded their D Line to Denver. Of course they got nothing in return. Of course, that's what they were worth last year.
  20. I see Robb Riddick jumping over the pile ... even with a cast on his wrist
  21. Thus the phrase under my avatar, never, ever forget 1983-1985.
  22. CBS stats trax had roscoe with a rush after one of the dulfins ran the ball -- obvious mistake.
  23. I was going on the idea that if a new person came every 540 days, and it was a two person job, that would mean that each person's shift was 1080 days (108x10) or just under 3 years. Desmond said that he had been there about 3 years. Sorry, I said 3 1/2 earlier. It is just under 3 years for 1080 days.
  24. My guess had been that she died in an accident that took Locke's use of his legs -- by happenstance But now I'm wondering if Locke's paralysis was psychologically induced rather than by physical injury
  25. Can anyone confirm my memory that the guy in the psych unit with Hurley was a former scientist -- it may just be my suspiscion that has warped into memory. The possibility of this being a giant psych experiment would fit with making someone psycho ...
