  1. Because they're stupid.
  2. Only the coaches quit...
  3. http://www.economist.com/daily/kallery/dis...e=features_box4 A picture is worth a thousand words.
  4. That's a TD.
  5. I think that's the problem. We have tried "so many". You know for a unit to function well together they have to have been together for a while. Steelers OL during the SB run was one of the best in the game and Big Ben looked like Elway out there. I remember during those days that the OL had played close to two seasons together as a unit. This isn't Madden, you can't just plug in a player and expect him to do well. Instill LONG TERM confidence in a unit and eventually they will gel.
  6. If the Bills were in the same situation (minus the 1-7 record), and they made the same move and didn't convert, what would you have said?
  7. I agree with the "He's a hero if they make it" but I wouldn't make that same call being a coach. But as he once said, "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME "
  8. Should be fired
  9. Every time a team is winning. They have a swagger. Every time a team is losing, they lack heart.
  10. Yep. Cut everyone. That is the answer.
  11. For sure. It's a long season and things could change very quickly but it was more of an "as of now" question.
  12. So who wins the division? Sabres are doing well, so are the Bruins and even though the Habs are doing well, but that loss to the Leafs was just !@#$ing embarrassing. Kudos to Ron Wilson though, he has those guys playing hard for him.
  13. This has more to do with the idiocy of the average consumer than with Bush's own policies. Had Bush restricted people's borrowing and credit, they'd have said that he's an enemy of economic expansion.

  15. Only in Italy can the head of the country own all the media outlets, be linked with organized crime and name the political party after sports. His party name is "Forza Italia" which is the main slogan for Italy in soccer, almost like the mayor of Montreal calling his political party Go Habs Go.
  16. ORLY? Past victims of their pranks have included Gilles Duceppe, rock stars Bono and Mick Jagger, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Formula One driver Jacques Villeneuve, U.S. business tycoon Donald Trump, and very recently Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The duo have also been incorrectly credited with a prank call to Queen Elizabeth II in 1995, which was in fact placed by another CKOI-FM host, Pierre Brassard. In August 2005, the pair got Britney Spears to take a call by pretending to be Céline Dion (they claim to have previously pranked Dion herself). As Dion, they proposed to Spears that "Tiger Woods, one of my personal friends, just promised me he's going to sing a very special song in duo with you and it's going to be called 'Let's Make a Hole in One'", to which Spears responded with enthusiasm.[1] On January 27, 2006, they tricked Jacques Chirac into believing that he was speaking to new Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, a prank which Chirac took with good humour.[2] The BBC rated this particular prank one of the 30 best moments in radio history of all time.
  17. They can't lose at home to the Niners because I am going to be there. Obviously, knowing this, they will wake up and play inspirational football.
  18. I don't know, but these guys are good. They have a list of well known celebrities that they were able to prank. The Nailin Paylin was a classic
  19. Low expectations. The way I see it, the Bills built themselves a little buffer by going 4-0 for a possible slump down the stretch. Besides Arizona (Noone beats Arizona in the desert), we lost 2 games we should have won. That's our slump. Now how this team reacts against the Pats will define this season.
  20. Here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMV0LKlVj8I
  21. He did at one point when he threw in between double coverage to Lee Evans and Lee made a great catch.
  22. Interference or just great coverage. 50/50
  23. Well that play that was tipped at the very end was very good. I think 9 out of 10 times, that's a TD. Had he connected on that one, we would have probably won. Amazing isn't it?
