  1. That would be sick. They need the blue pants - too much white.
  2. If you are joking this is a funny post. If you are serious this is a hilarious post.
  3. Hey Baby, I noticed that you have braces. I have braces too.
  4. Every single one of those people should be either A.) Thrown in jail or B) Forced to forfeit their penion and pay back what they have already stolen.
  5. That is exactly what I thought of when I heard the news this morning. That is really too bad, I always enjoyed listening to Beth on WHAM in the morning. Big loss for WHAM and I hope that she lands on her feet. Maybe she can replace Norma Holland on channel 13 in the morning. Norma Holland is brutal.
  6. Is Kelsay coming back this week? He was getting consistent pressure on 3rd down when he was lining up with his hand on the ground.
  7. And thankfully we won't have to listen to that monotone douchebag Joe Buck. I still can't figure out how he is their #1 announcer.
  8. Antonio Coleman is on the Giants practice squad - I wonder if we will claim him. I wonder if they will look at other teams practice squads as well?
  9. The politician that also played wide receiver for the Bengals, right?
  10. Good start - but if they do all of that and don't add a second Jumbotron I am going to be pissed.
  11. Hopefully he will be a little more Fitzaccurate.
  12. Whatever dude. They only rating that matters ins ESPN's all new Total QBR. It proves once and for all that Tim Tebow is better than Aaron Rodgers.
  13. A lot of the outlets, including the FOX broadcast team, consider David Nelson a tight end.
  14. Except Wendling is probably a much better color analyst.
  15. She looks like a blonde Snooki
  16. 3 of 5 games have been on NFL replay this year
  17. Go back and read, I don't give a damn where they are made and you are right, you can spend your money however you want to. If you can sleep at night buying illegally produced merchandise and justify it buy saying that everything is made in Asia anyway and the real one's are "too expensive" that is your prerogative. But pretending like buying the stuff is somehow a legitimate "good deal" is complete BS. I am sure that if you were the one being stolen from you would feel differently. Still trying to figure out how that makes me a fool but you are obviously much more enlightened that I am. "Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul"
  18. Thank you for finally proving a point, albeit one that you probably didn't intend to make. You claim that you justify buying counterfeit goods because there is little difference between the "real thing" and the fakes. If the jersey's were made in America they would cost significantly more to make to pay for higher wages, benefits, taxes etc, and retail for much more than they do know. People like you would complain EVEN MORE about the price and use that argument to still justify buying the counterfeit goods.
  19. Unfortunately it has become the American way. Fake it until you make it.
  20. I think that we can agree on how corrupt the "not for profit" higher education system is - it is impossible to argue against it. There are certianly plenty of merits to both sides of the argument regarding corporate subsidies, tariffs, etc. No one is forcing you to spend a whole days pay on a football jersey. A football jersey is a luxury item, not a necessity, but the lines get very blurred here in America between what an individual wants and needs. You can complain about the price all that you want to but it doesn't change the fact that a bunch of Chinese crooks are making knock offs and profiting from illegal activity and those that buy them are helping.
  21. I see that most of you are missing the point here. While I understand justnzane's frustration with his current situation and since this thread looks like it is headed to the PPP board I will say this. The same government that doesn't provide enough for you also subsidzes the student loans, which allows the banks to flood the higher education system with cheap money, which in turn allows the colleges and universities to charge whatever the hell they want to because Joe Student has $100,000 of borrowed money to finance the education that has well outpaced the rate of inflation. Note that Joe student will have difficulty finding a job with an entry level salary high enough to pay said loan back. In summary - when the government "helps you" by subsidizing student loans and driving up the cost of higher education, it forces you to borrow the $70,000 to pay for it, buts ends up hurting you because the same education was MUCH cheaper before the feds decided to goose up the student loan business. To the rest of you, I don't give a damn where Reebok makes their jerseys or where the hell you buy them from. I was simply making a point and it seems like we have quite a few subcribers to "Robin Hood Economics" on this board. It is ok to steal from an organization if they have a lot of money. Is it ok to steal a piece of pizza from Wegmans because they charge $3.00 for a slice that costs them 50 cents to make because I am hungry and Wegmans already has a lot of money? If you think so than have at it, I don't care.
  22. There is a huge difference between outsourcing manufacturing and buying an illegally produced, cheap knock-off. So answer me this - if you needed a prescription drug to maintian your health or save your life, like a blood pressure drug, would you purchase the version that has been tested and approved by the FDA or the cheap knockoff from India or China because it is much cheaper. (it could contain rat poison or any other number of chemicals). Granted, buying a jersey is not life or death but the concept is the same. So let's say that you, and American, owned the factory in China that produced the jersey's for the NFL. You agree to a contract with Reebok, assure them that you provide a safe working environment, prevailing wages, and the products that you are selling meets all of Reeboks quality standards. There is significant cost to do this, and you are forced to charge a higher price. The same guy next door is making jerseys that look similar but he uses tainted materials, not paying his workers or any royalties or taxes. If YOU are the factory owner, how do you feel?
  23. This is not an argument about where the NFL / Reebok chooses to have their products made. We all buy products made overseas and I would be a hypocrite to say that I didn't. This also isn't an argument about whether it is right and wrong for the NFL to charge what they do for licensed apparel - remember, the NFL, owners, and NFLPA all want a piece of the pie, at the end of the day, they can charge what they want and the market decides whether or not they are willing to buy it. They own the intellectual property, the trademarks, and in turn the rights to produce and sell the goods. What I am pointing out is that counterfeiting is counterfeiting - there is no other way to say it. The jerseys are produced illegally and are not officially licensed. The jerseys that you are buying are not made in the same factory and if they were then they are stolen. While they might look close, they are not the exact same and I know that in some cases it is hard to tell the difference. It is the same as buying a fake iPod, a fake Callaway driver, or Nikes. If it makes you feel nice to have an "authentic jersey" that isn't actually authentic be my guest, but buying products from DHgate or any of these other sites is purchasing illegally produced, stolen merchandise.
  24. Congrats on supporting the import of counterfeit goods into the U.S. everyone. Keep up the good work, you should be very proud of yourselves.
  25. I don't think that the NFL is fixed and most of the posters are right, the defense stunk and we didn't have as many calls go our way as we did the prior two weeks. It still doesn't change the fact that the officiating in the NFL, for the most part, is pretty bad. I am not sure why they don't start by making these guys full time employees.
