  1. It's gonna be interesting to see how this matchup pans out. Here you've got Drew's former HC as the guy that has to devise a scheme to stop him. Just atch the tape, Greggo and you'll see all you need to know. That's right, I'm thinking he's gonna put 9 in the box and bring the heat. I'm pulling for Greggo on this one.
  2. so if you love Boomer for blowing off the Bills and it working in the Bills favor then why are you rippin on him for what he said?
  3. So, dude... is it green? Is it field turf? Is it already lined and numbered or will you be doing that yourself?
  4. If you enjoy and truly love what you do, then it's not like work. It's a psssion and an obsession. Otherwise, 17-22 hrs. is working hard, but probably not working smart.
  5. Mike, The Texans offense sucks... They are definitely bottom 3rd. Carr has very RJ like stats. And, 1000 yard runners and receivers mean nothing. The 1500 yard and/or the 10+ TDs is the benchmark for the upper crust.
  6. dog... these are not 'random thoughts'. These are deliberate, contrived and selected comments. Therefore, "fair and balanced" has become tainted..
  7. Why not? ST is no less important than playing OL. THat's the difference between good teams and great teams. The great teams place an extremely high premium on ST play.
  8. GOOD – • the “W” • D played well • JP had a remarkable performance for a 1st start • Willis chalked up his 1st 100 yard game • Lindell: R U serious? BAD – • You’d expect more points when your D forces 5 turnovers and 5 sacks • No sustainable offense, but let’s be real here… rookie QB, re-tooled OL. (It’s going to take time) • D giving up a TD drive toward the end of the 2nd Q. If this defense wants to mentioned in the same breath as the the “72 Fins”, “85 Bears”, “03 Ravens”, then it can not allow that to happen against a pathetic offense like the Texans. UGLY- No ugly from the Bills this week, but I’ve got to believe the performances turned in by the Vikes, Jets, and Rams were flukes and those teams just had a very bad day. And can you believe the Fins? Never in my wildest dreams. SUMMING UP THE BILLS: A win is a win is a win!!! And, if the bills are to be considered a playoff contender, they had to beat Houston soundly. They did. Now it’s on to Tampa to face a team that clocked the Vikes on the road. Tampa is a better team than Houston and now they play at home. This shapes up as a very important contest and another game to gauge and validate that the defense is indeed a damn good one or maybe even a great one. It’s also going to give us another game to measure the progress of JP and the offense and how they deal with a road game. Personally, I think this team is headed for 9-7 and perhaps a season away from becoming a real contender. I do not see this team in the class of Philly, Pats, Colts, Pitt, just yet. However, after those 4 teams, I really think it is wide open and whether or not the Bills make the playoffs is going to be just as much dependent on how those other teams perform.
  9. No no.... go Mike Hart!!! homegrown in CNY.
  10. ????? Are you a genetic experiment gone wrong or did you just come from a bad gene pool?
  11. dude... these folks here would sooner tout The bills GM as the greatest GM of all time before they would admit that Brady is a great QB. For christ's sake.... Jason Peters is a better QB than Brady according to these guys. However, if Brady were wearing a Bills uni, he is obviously not just the greatest QB of all time, he is the greatest athlete of all time.
  12. So, why ain't you happy??? And, I can tell you, if you ain't happy in GA., guaranteed you won't be in NYS. If you make a $50K salary now, for example, and move it to NYS, it's an automatic $10-12K cut in pay because of the COL here.
  13. Let me see... cut him and absorb the rest of his amortized bonus on next year's cap, OR lose 3-5 games because of his unreliability? Yeah, that's a tough decision.
  14. lindell's leash is proportionate to his range on kicks... which is inside the 20 yard line... and even then take a deep breath ans cross your heart, fingers, toes, eyebrows, and nutz.
  15. in overtime... 4th & goal at the 1... Lindell banks an 18 yd. field goal off the right upright for a 3-0 win.
  16. jeezuz god. Let it go. I'm sure the dude wasn't serious. Everyone makes wisecracks about everyone else's city/town. We need to get over ourselves and get a sense of humor.
  17. not according to BB.com Joe Burns is top dog behind both willis and shelton.
  18. off you chest? what the hell's it doin up there?
  19. But on the contract front with Nate, I must report, negatively, that there is no new contract to announce... which, unless something happens between now and Sunday, Clements will be a FA at season's end. A franchise tagger... perhaps.
  20. Yes, there's much bigger fish to fry, but going into the season everyone has their favorite for the SB. But what about the bottom feeder who takes home the top draft pick? With that, I'd be suprised if it weren't the Browns winning the Matt Linehart derby.
  21. thought you said that was well disguised? Didn't seem like there was any words minced there.
  22. must be that damn donahoe koolaid again
