Cities like Memphis, St. Louis, Jackson, and Birmingham rank among the highest in violent crime rates per 100,000 residents. Red states also lag in life expectancy, healthcare access, education, and income, with social services scarce and reliance on federal funding higher. Bottom line: despite big-city challenges, people in blue states are healthier, safer, and better supported than those in red states. Where do you live?

I have no idea - we just found out his name today. What I do know is that Mormons are the most reliably Republican-leaning religious group in the U.S. I have not seen his family and friends' statements. I did - I was the first to share a tweet about the shooting, even before we knew it had turned fatal. It’s insane how people need zero proof to believe a lie, but endless proof still isn’t enough for them to accept the truth.
