Campbell was hired to his first job in miami by Tony Sporano. Sporano was with Payton in Dallas under Parcells and was hired as the Dolphins head coach by Bill Parcells when he took over the dolphins in 08. Aaron Glenn played for Parcells in NY and in Dallas. He played for Payton in New Orleans. Payton Hired Glenn to be the saints DB Coach and then Campbell hired him to be the DC in Detroit. Ben Johnson was on the staff with Campbell in Miami, Campbell kept Ben Johnson in Detroit when he was hired as the HC, and Johnson worked under Anthony Lynn originally in Detroit yet another Parcells guy having been on that same staff with payton, sporano in 05-06 in Dallas.

Dan Campbell is going to have two of his hand picked coordinators get head coaching jobs this offseason. That is pretty good for a guy everyone uses as a punchline. They went 9-3 down the stretch if my numbers are correct and started playing defense really well. Another year in that defense is going to make them pretty tough next year. they basically missed the playoffs because of Tua's injuries which should have been a point of emphasis for them in the offseason. Not having a good backup like Joe flacco or someone who could win you 2 out of 4 games if tua was out was basically the gm letting the team down.

they are in for a battle. The steelers know how to slow them down and they might have a gimpy flowers or not have him at all. if the steelers go into this game knowing they can put more into covering andrews and don't have flowers to worry about they are going to make it hard for Jackson. They are 1 of the teams that will play the run well because they are built for it. Have to think the steelers offense being so bad last night will have them as sharp as they can be next week. Baltimore is the better team but this is just a headache of a matchup for them.

well I think its fine. The same thing happened a few years ago when Dallas went to Tampa and beat them on a monday night. Dallas had the better record and won the game. If you win your division you should get a home game. That should never change. Teams get upset all the time in the playoffs.

Miami and Denver have nothing in common. Last year the final week Miami had a mash unit on defense. Their head coach is not in the same stratosphere as Sean Payton. Buffalo went and manhandled the dolphins last year in week 18. They were running out of players on defense that night. This denver teams strength is their defense.

That is why winning the division is so important. again you said the nfc west was crappy but the Rams beat the Vikings and lost to the Lions with a banged up team week 1 26-20. that does not matter. This broncos team has a good defense and a veteran staff. Payton has seen everything there is to see in the playoffs. This game is going to be tight. Hopefully the bills have the lead in the second half and the environment is great and the Bills can hang on and win something like 27-17 with a late score putting them away. The Bills can simply not fall behind in this game.
