Homicide was amazing. Pembleton and Kellerman are two of my favorite TV characters of all time.
The Shield is the best show on television, hands down. Glenn Close is going to be the new Captain of the Barn.
The other shows I make a point of watching are Lost, Smallville, and the O.C.
24 was my favorite show a couple years back but they've essentially thrown out the format. Not every place in SoCal is 5 minutes from every other place.
I gave up on Rescue Me about halfway through its first season. I felt like it was going nowhere.
I'll be 'relieved' when the owners blacklist the entire NHLPA and start the league fresh.
The system is broken and it can't be fixed with the NHLPA in the way. Blacklisting about 700 players to save the game is collateral damage.
I already have my tickets for the December Amerks game in Buffalo so clearly I don't mind paying to see a league of guys who aren't quite NHL-ready yet. The problem takes care of itself in 5-6 seasons.
You always see crazy things happen in the stands at the Sabres-Leafs games. Probably has something to do with fans getting drunk, realizing they are wearing hockey jerseys just like their heroes on the ice, and deciding they should fight the guys in the 'other' jerseys too.
Anything is possible when you believe in yourself.
People told Michael Bolton there was no way you could be bald and have long hair at the same time. But he showed them.
Um, no. The only 'major stories' covered by the media are the ones that make the U.S. military and the President look bad. Those, and Laci Peterson or whatever other irrelevant trial they want to talk about.
1. No reason to be afraid when you put your entire team between you and the bad man trying to hurt you.
2. Not assault. What a surprise.
3. What would you call that? Passive resistance?
By definition of common sense, a 7 foot tall man who weighs close to 250 pounds was hit by a small plastic cup.
Artest then proved his manhood by attacking some kid half his size who still had a drink in his hand and obviously didn't throw anything. Of course, Artest didn't see any reason to attack Ben Wallace, and he had a pretty good look at Wallace punching him in the neck.
Yeah, ASSAULT, thank goodness Artest can still walk because that was brutal.....
I guess if being hit by a plastic cup is ASSAULT, then what Artest did to that kid in the stands is ATTEMPTED MURDER, right?
"Digital Bath" by Deftones (see sig)
"Blinded (When I See You)" - Third Eye Blind
"Memory" - Sugarcult
Yes, these songs are all less than 5 years old.....
I nearly freaked out when they started into "I Will Follow" at the end. Very awesome.
I liked when Bono kept saying "live" at the end too, nice jab at Ashlee Simpson and Eminem.
That's how it started, but I don't think people think of it that way here anymore. It's not a secret if you live here.
We have some new anti-littering campaign but it doesn't have a cool slogan.
Was that a threat? You better back off, man. I'm from the street and won't hesitate pop a cap in your ass if you wanna start something.
(And, yes, I talk just as tough to people in real life as I do on the anonymous internet message boards. )
I would pull out a gun and kill him.
Sure, I might go to jail if they didn't buy the whole "he started it by throwing coffee at me" line but at least that's better than having to worry about someone thinking I'm a kitty.
My family would understand.
The Angels farm system is as good as anyone's right now. They are one organization that has consistantly been ranked near the top for the past 2-3 years and it has just started paying off. Dallas McPherson and Casey Kotchman each made their debuts in 2004 and could be the Angels' corner infielders for the next decade. They have two great catching prospects with Mathis and Napoli.
I could go on and on but I doubt anyone wants a position-by-position list of Angels prospects. They have the prospects; they just don't want to part with them. They could've had RJ last season but, from what I've heard, the DBacks were asking for too much.
Mandy Moore.
Pretty
Damn straight!
I also like the girl in that new Best Buy commercial for the Elton John DVD's. Yeah, I like brunettes with short hair.....
