NFL Trade Deadline Oct 31 - Rumored List of Players Available
Gregg replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they want any shot at a playoff run, then he has to get a DT. That is a top priority even more so than a #2 WR. -

America doesn't have one. We haven't for 3 years now. -
Seattle is going back to their classic uniforms this weekend vs the Browns. They should change back to these as they are so much better than the current uniforms.

They were talking about the Bills on WFAN and Craig Carton chimed in. Blames McDermott for Allen's struggles. With the Buffalo Bills now 4-3 heading into Week 8, pressure is arising on them. Allen has faced a lot of criticism from the media this season, but Craig Carton believes that head coach Sean McDermott is to blame for Allen's regression this season. Here's what Carton said on his show: "They're a dysfunctional mess and to me, it's not so much about Josh, it's as much about Sean McDermott as it is about anything. But I would like them to allow Josh Allen to just go play football." "I think when you talk too much to young players, and try to mold them into what you think a prototypical quarterback or any position should be, you take away what makes him special. I think that's what's happening in Buffalo." "It's enough talk, let the kid meaning Josh Allen, just go out there and play football. The way he plays it, if he gets hurt, he gets hurt. If he throws a bad pick once in a while, he throws a bad pick, but they're messing with the kid's brain. And I think that's the biggest problem in Buffalo right now."

If the Bills defense is healthy, they're 6-1 right now

1990 Super Bowl champions. WOO HOO!!! -
This is why I hope Beane can made a trade for a DT. I would have DT as the #1 priority, even more so than a #2 WR.

Hopefully we get off to a fast start. Something like 7-0 with 10 minutes left in the 1st quarter and go from there. If Tampa is up 3-0 midway through the 2nd quarter, then gloom and doom posts on this board will be out full force. I think the Bills win but it will be close. 24-16.

Bills now Vegas betting favorites to land Derrick Henry
Gregg replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Giants lose on Sunday and fall to 2-6 then Beane has to call them and see if a deal can be worked out. I am sure he is looking at all options, but he does have history with Schoen working together in Buffalo. -
I think Levi will eventually be that goalie, but he is young. He shouldn't have to carry a heavy workload just yet. The Sabres should and probably will look to shore up the defense with a trade. Probably also look to bring in a vet goalie who can split time with Levi if they aren't happy with what they have.

There is an article in today's Daily News about the Giants trading Saquon, but Beane really should call Schoen and see if either Lawrence or Williams are available. That would be a good move for the Bills and combined Oliver will help shore up the D-Line. -
Sabres are starting to come around. Too much talent on that team to continue to struggle.

If the Bills are going to talk to the Giants I would inquire about Leonard Williams or Dexter Lawrence if I were Beane. -
Blue jerseys, blue pants, white socks for Thursday Night Football
Gregg replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
They could wear pink dresses with yellow polka dots on them with purple high heeled hooker shoes and I wouldn't give a crap as long as they get to 5-3. -

Usually, I am not one to put much stock into scoring first. But given the past 2 weeks I think it's very important for the offense to start quick. A 7-0 lead early in the first quarter and then go from there. It will help their confidence. If they fall behind again and its looking like the Giants/Pats games, then it could snowball into 4-4. This message board will go nuclear if that happens.

Poll: McDermott’s biggest mistake so far was …
Gregg replied to GerstAusGosheim's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think Mahomes won that game. If there were 30 seconds, then sure as there is enough time to get into FG range especially with timeouts. If I remember correctly, they still had one maybe two. 13 seconds was a 100% screw up by McDermott, Frazier, and the defense. Mahomes, Kelce, Hill don't even factor into it with just 13 seconds. I don't care how good they are. 13 seconds is not enough time when you are starting at your own 25 unless the Bills totally choke which they did. -

Along with a much better OL and a defense that can step up in big moments. -

Wearing the all-whites at home especially early in the year when it's hot out is fine. I agree that blue over white should be the primary home look. -

Meh. Only thing worse is the reds. At the end of the day just get the win and get to 5-3.
