Goin Breakdown

Here's my stance because I never said it was smart or the right thing to do. Just because a coach makes an aggressive call doesn't mean it was the right one. My whole point in the first place was that Fans views (not all) on the play will waver based on if it was successful or not. There isn't a whole lot to argue there. I've heard people say McD should be fired because of it, BUT I'd the play was successful (and we won the game) would we be saying he would be fired? I didn't like the play, I was yelling at the tv at the time that they should have put it in joshs hand. Now after thinking more, I think punting would have been the choice. the problem here is you can't say anything objectively without others twisting your words or assuming your saying something you're not. Was the play stupid? Probably yeah but I still think fans would have a different tone had it worked. That's it period. (not saying you were doing any of these things, just trying to point it out since you were the last to respond to me. Go Bills!)

It sounds like you're saying that McD with Josh is the same as Reid without Mahomes. Wasn't Mahomes Reid's missing piece?

All that money invested in the defense just to crap out in the playoffs against good QBs. Dline ghosts us. That was pretty much the only hope on defense and they were nowhere.

That's fine. It's totally cool to have different opinions and I respect what your saying. There is a lot about the play I don't like, but I am happy we have a coach that had the guts to do something aggressive. It's not the play that lost the game, that's for sure.

I was wondering why Hamlin. Sal brought up a good point. If they had switched players it would have given away what the Bills were about to do. I hate that it was Hamlin but I get what he's saying.

Nothing hypothetical about it. Joe Marino said it the same way yesterday or today. He likes the call, it was gutsy and if it had worked we'd all be happy. I know my response was to your post but it was nothing personal towards you. I've been a fan for a long time and I know when plays like that work we don't view them in the same light as we do when they flip.

Unless it worked. then it would have been awesome to have an aggressive head coach who does what it takes to win. The outcome determines what we will say a lot of times.

Because he is being graded for when he's on the field. McD only puts him on the field in situations that Dodson excels in. That's my guess.

I'm the big scope of things it's football and really doesn't matter. My son likes teams I don't but he does like the Bills, mainly because that what he grew up seeing me watch. If he grows up and chooses another team, ok. I told him when he was younger that no matter what team he cheers for, he is going to experience ups and downs. Much like any relationship I guess lol. side note. When he turned 13 I took him to his first game for his birthday. They lost bad to the jets. He wrote them a letter and told them how they ruined his birthday. Haha. Therapy

I think this loss was going to happen given the injuries, drops and special team blunders that have been happening all year. I just didn't want it to be this game. Ok or any game.

For sure. We just don't have empathy like we did. I feel for Bass in regard to how it must feel to miss that kick. Would want to crawl under a rock and hide. We got pics of fans crying (I kinda get it emotions are high) throwing ice balls and now this Bills fans do an awful great job at calling out other fans for being horrible yet act the same. I know people who won't even go to a game for fear of our fans. Again it's not everyone. We certainly do have some great people that support this team. I'm just seeing the media portraying the fan base as a bunch of hostile weak bullies right now and that's not who we're supposed to be.

Yep and stop with all that "this close" crap. I was put off by that last week and then he does it again. Right there I told my son "this dude doesn't care". There was no "my bad". Instead he almost congratulates himself on being close to catching it.

This obviously does NOT apply to everyone as I know there are good people out there look as a human I feel for him. As an employee, I don't feel bad for him that he missed. He gets paid a lot of money to make this kicks. No one feels bad for me when I mess up at my job BUT to treat a person like garbage because of a game? All this bull crap about the Bills Madia being family, is pretty much that. Bull crap. It only exists when we are winning? Stop throwing ice balls. Stop treating people like trash.
