No, farley. rolled eyes is not an adequate response to justify your intellectual dishonesty

what is your point? the ga district is75% white and the NY one is 31%. and the NY district does better for attainment. For foreign language spoken primarily in the home it's 11% vs 59% and the foreign language county predominant NY district still did better. Could you have tried any harder to find to incomparable districts? must have taken some time...

That the socioeconomic and educational composition of the population has a great deal to do with academic success. Areas that value education more, generally do better, however. It's not primarily about the amount of money spent. Thanks for making my point. refuting this point of yours: "Welp continue to flood those underperforming school districts with money and resources and they continue to fail."

so university town districts don't generally do better in regards to academic achievement than say MTG's districts? Who then is getting flooded with money with underperformance? Let's look at 2 Ga areas, Dalton and Athens....

What are your feelings on QAnon?

Why do you lie so often? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/aug/16/qanon-conspiracy-theory-sound-of-freedom-trump-desantis It turned out to be a remarkably successful formula; in the days before the 2020 election, a Yahoo News/YouGov poll found that fully half of Trump’s supporters believed that top Democrats were “involved in an elite child sex trafficking ring” and that Trump was working to “dismantle” that same Democrat-led conspiracy. And despite the ludicrous and defamatory nature of the conspiracy theory, Trump seemed to embrace it; during a town hall event in October of 2020, NBC’s Savannah Guthrie repeatedly offered him a chance to denounce the movement and Trump refused. Even as many conspiracists shifted the narrative to stolen elections and the Covid-19 pandemic, the belief persisted. A February 2022 poll found that even though it had been over a year since Q had communicated, the number of believers in the conspiracy was holding steady at 16% of Americans – which is over 40 million people. The poll found that the best predictor of QAnon beliefs came from which news source an individual trusted most – those who trusted far-right sources, including One America News and Newsmax (and, to a lesser extent, Fox News) were far more likely to believe in QAnon than others. Two sitting members of the House of Representatives – Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert – posted QAnon content to their social media accounts before being elected. -

The term is used a great deal here. Stand up and be counted......... -
as they say and I believe it is largely true, you can't fix stupid or make gold from straw. How do you believe the kids in university towns compare in academic accomplishment to kids in a redneck district? Why?
-
Yes, they pay for and attend universities for at least 4 years just so they can preach woke to youngins. I'd argue that worsening performance in schools is multi factorial including poor home life, poor parental example and a weakening gene pool.

I'm gonna quote that scholar TSOL here: " bawk, bawk"
-
non sequitor noun a conclusion or statement that does not logically follow from the previous argument or statement. therefore the ability to diagram and analyze an argument is required in order to identify one. how bout you diagram the argument that I just made in this post?
-
I'm not deciding. I think it's best to leave it up to the experts in the field. You know, teachers and the people that teach them. But you do you. And while you're at it be your own doctor and lawyer. see how that works out...why do you have a euro symbol on your keyboard? r u a socialist?
-
i believe I'm the only poster that ever diagrams arguments using the classic method. next time you think I'm guilty, point it out and we will both diagram the argument.

I love a good ribeye but must admit that some of the healthiest patients I saw were liberal vegans... Shakespeare has injured generations of kids over centuries. Romeo and Juliet are straight characters. btw, who the the hell are you to decide what public education should or should not include. Have you studied education and the mechanisms of learning? Do you have a magic 8 ball that predicts the skills and knowledge each kid will benefit from?
-
I'm arguing seriously and you're taking the mickey. typical con. but yes. people who have the ability to choose where they'll live will choose the better places. Unfortunately, not everyone does.
-
In other words, don't live in Fla...no problem. The country is already geographically and socioeconomically divided on political affiliation. why not make it worse? University towns are always a good bet.
-
Not absolutist. I don’t think the anarchists cookbook should be available in school libraries for example. But if parents are to have a say, liberal parents should have an equal say. Do u agree?
-
These are public schools. What if the parents support their kids reading some of these books. The government makes the decision that they can’t get them at their school and implicitly tells the kids they are bad. What was your feeling on mandatory vaccines? This is the same thing. Perhaps we should start private elementary schools for liberals. Right now, most kids have to wait til college when they get a choice. What you are saying is that cons opinions are more highly valued than liberals or that liberals can be ignored by schools
-
People with direct authority over children are telling these impressionable little minds that these books are bad based on THEIR own politics (NOT their actual parents politics). And you are complaining about propaganda. Freedumb....
-
and that is wrong. They're no different than us. put their pants on one leg at a time (well x the over 80's- they have valets). We agree. Things could be better.
-
right. So if you or I pulled this bs, nothing would happen to us. just how many tiers do you believe the justice system should have?
