These are public schools. What if the parents support their kids reading some of these books. The government makes the decision that they can’t get them at their school and implicitly tells the kids they are bad. What was your feeling on mandatory vaccines? This is the same thing. Perhaps we should start private elementary schools for liberals. Right now, most kids have to wait til college when they get a choice. What you are saying is that cons opinions are more highly valued than liberals or that liberals can be ignored by schools

I did calc in HS but opted for a calc light chem major- needed the A's. Then in grad school I took P Chem kinetics and just memorized the equations...still have no idea how kinetics work in chemistry. The prof was Greek and I understood about 1/3 of the words but if my mind worked that way, I'd have followed the numbers and symbols on the blackboard. Plus there was this cute Organic Chemist from the UAE in my class. No headscarf. Thinking and giving loans for higher education to everyone and anyone had severe consequences. Like the college bubble and current insane cost of it. when did half the population have advanced degrees? It's just that those that didn't had some common sense.
