  1. I'm okay with no more plays where knox is the first read
  2. Firing him is a big risk as he is a really good coach. But this team has enough top end talent that they can carry a mediocre coach to a Wild Card game. I don't really care if we lose in the wild card round or the divisional round. So yeah I'd give it a lot of consideration. Ben Johnson from Detroit is a stud playcaller. I'd love to have him here. But for every guy like him, there are 10 "up and coming" coaches that I would not take over McD. I do think the Bills can and will win a super bowl with McD. But yeah if you continue to show an inability to get over the hump, you have to take a risk and move on
  3. It's fine. We play well during 1pm games. Even if it's close, Mac will give the game away.
  4. More easy chain moving passes to Kincaid or early down targets for him to leave manageable 3rd downs. As much as he needs to protect himself, more freedom for Josh to run. If you're gonna be in the shotgun, more RPO's especially with Cook 3-4 targets per game for Cook We did this too much last year, but more designed deep balls rather than just throwing it deep when everything breaks down in front of Josh
  5. He looks slow. No bend. Taking a very wide route to the backfield so it makes it half look like he's making progress but he's so far outside that the only way he's getting to the QB is if the QB runs into him. You can't tell much from TV but I think his health isn't quite there and I'm guessing his trust isn't there either. The pass rush can survive without him right now so they can ease him in to be ready for the stretch run. But man that last drive last night is why you bring Von Miller in. One sack and there's not even a threat at the end of the game.
  6. Did Ed Oliver play last night? He's been pretty good this season but he was invisible last night other than another stupid penalty
  7. Right or wrong, refs jusr aren't going to throw a flag again in that situation. I thought it was PI. But I also think that play goes uncalled in less major moments throughout the entire game
  8. Prevent defense only prevents you from winning. Always been the case
  9. Ok Von time to do something
  10. Not a good throw but that still has to be caught
  11. Run. Timeout. Run. Timeout. Play action Gabe leakout 30 yard pass. Game over. Not how I'd do it but trying to be realistic yet optimistic
  12. The only big play I'm referring to is a touchdown
  13. Still playing a little too off in the pass game. Tyrod is not going to beat you with the big play. He prefers to dink it down. Make him make a play
  14. There's enough time that the giants can still feed Barkley. Hope we respect the run
  15. Dorsey is currently scrambling. He thought he did his job with 7 points. This can't be a 3 and out
  16. It's early but Von seems to be missing that explosive burst
  17. I know this doesn't matter but Sam Martin kind of sucks. And for a team that suddenly punts the ball 8 times a game, maybe it does matter
  18. The coaching staff has also convinced Josh to NEVER run which also isn't the answer
  19. Defense needs to force a turnover because this offense has no chance right now
  20. Teams just don't win a Super Bowl solely carried by an elite defense anymore. You need an elite offense supplemented with a great pass rush. The losses we've had on defense the past 2 weeks are a very big deal. But we still have the pieces in place on the defensive line and on offense to win games in January and February. But yeah it would be nice to get the 1 seed for once and those chances took a huge blow in the first month of the season.
  21. We are going for the record for most players to retire in-season
  22. Milano is a superstar at a non premium position. It'll be a big loss but it's manageable to get by if our defensive line gets healthy Beane needs to find some replacements though
  23. Post-game thoughts Elam had some good moments but the Jags picked on him especially in big moments. He's going to play a lot even when Benford is back so he needs to figure it out Allen missed on two deep throws but otherwise I thought he was really good despite a mediocre offensive line performance and a horrible gamelan I'm not as down on Dorsey as others most weeks but he was a disaster today Too many defensive injuries to expect them to have finished the game strong Espensa was great Actually credit for them not overdoing it with Von despite all the injuries. But he was a non factor Kincaid does something dumb every game. I see the potential but man he's gotta clean it up Knox might not be good Davis had a bad drop but he's good Win or lose today, I just don't see us playing in February if Milano misses a lot of time
