  1. I used this seller on ebay. I contacted them directly and they express shipped my Spiller Jersey's. They came in like 5 business days. I got mine for $31.99 with the shipping, but you can probably negotiate a deal if you're getting 8-10. You will also be protected via paypal. Here's the link to the seller.

    Thank you, B-a-H!

I greatly appreciate it my friend. So much so that if you don't like me abbreviating you name as I have now done in two threads, i will stop doing it.

  2. How about a bunch of Kelly jerseys and on the note you could say "thanks to all my boys for THROWING such a great celebration"

BB, I plan on putting their names of each of the jerseys and their dates of birth.

If the companies can't do that, I'm going to do legendary bills, but have no two be the same.

I thought I saved the links to the popular jersey distributors previously listed here, but I can't find it and my search has been unsuccessful, please I still need peoples opinions on their satisfaction with their purhase.

BUT, your suggestion is not bad, my friend. Not bad at all.

  3. I am getting married in two weeks and I have been stressing over what to get my groomsmen for awhile, until it hit me to get them replica Bills' jerseys.

I know the jerseys wouldn't be done by the 31st, but I still think this is what I should get them. I'll probably be ordering 8-10 of them in various sizes.

Quality is important, but good price wouldn't be bad, either.

Over the last couple of years I know our board has been big on the ordering of jerseys. Any recommendations that you guys can make with respect to a reputable seller would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance.

  4. I saw this done on another site and thought it would be fun to do here.

How would you describe the Bills presently and in the future in two words? I'll start the bidding.

    Present: stacking players

    Future: division champs

    They suck.

I am not trying to be a jerk and I am really not trying to ruin your thread B-at-H, but honestly, those were the first two words that came to mind.

    FUTURE: always hopeful

  5. Pure speed is uncoachable. He was the high school 100 meter national champion which is why he is able to separate from db's in the secondary. They stay with him for a short time then ie John Madden "boom he's outta there".

AND, CT, i don't care that were are believed to be one of the worst teams in the league; if u are a defensive coordinate in this league and u see this kid on the field, your privates start to itch and u get pretty dang nervous.

  6. Two Bills items in a row:

Hardy ahead as No. 2 WR?

    8:07AM ET

    James Hardy | Bills

The Buffalo Bills have a problem of sorting out their RB depth chart this offseason (and picking a QB, and figuring out what to do on the O-line, and trying to fit their current defensive personnel into the new 3-4 scheme, et cetera ad nauseum), and they're facing a similar situation with the WRs.

The No. 1 wideout is obviously Lee Evans, but after that, there's nothing set in stone yet. According to Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com, James Hardy has been in the No. 2 spot during some of the offseason practices. Hardy has been a bit out of shape, ESPN.com's Tim Graham observed on June 25, but it's likely a result of recovery from sports hernia surgery.

Allen Wilson of the Buffalo News noted on May 29 that the team could sure use a breakout season by Hardy [Editor's note: among many other things], and Hardy thinks his time spent with Terrell Owens last season may yield some positive benefits. "I learned how to practice every day, how to go all out every rep," Hardy said. "I learned how to watch film. He came to my house; I went to his house often. He showed me how to break film down, what to look at as far as defenders, how to read defenses and how to have a certain communication with the quarterback on certain routes that you want to run."

Fantasy owners should use caution with whomever wins the Bills' No. 2 job, however. Vito Chirco writes that because of Buffalo's uncertain quarterback situation, whichever player starts behind Evans won't have any fantasy value.

With all this talk of No. 2, perhaps we're forgetting that the Bills drafted a very nice tertiary option for the passing game at ninth overall in C.J. Spiller. The versatile back could provoke defenses to alter their game plans, even in spite of the Bills' weaknesses in other areas of the offense:

    John Clayton

    Spiller will have an impact

"I'm thinking it's reasonable for him to get about 40 or 50 catches. His run-after-the-catch ability should be exceptional. Defenses might have to put a cornerback on him because he should burn most linebackers. The problem facing the Bills is that they don't have enough weapons. Opposing teams will double-team Evans. Once defenses find ways of stopping Spiller, too, then the Bills' offense could grind to a halt."

Troy could be odd man out

Troy Smith | Ravens | Interested: Saints?, Bills?

    Top Email

UPDATE: Matt Jergensen of NFLGridironGab.com writes that when it comes to the Ravens' QB situation following the signing of Marc Bulger, "All signs would seemingly point to Troy Smith being shown the door." Jergensen cites Smith's potential discontent with being the team's No. 3 quarterback as the primary reason. However, ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli pointed out Friday that Smith might be more accepting of the new role than some might think (see below).

    ---

The Baltimore Sun's Peter Schmuck writes Saturday that, following Baltimore's addition of veteran QB Bulger, it would be better for all involved if the team traded Smith to the Bills, where he might have a chance to win the starting job.

In April, Smith finally signed his RFA tender, but the buzz then was that he could still be traded. At Ravens minicamp in May, Smith addressed his future in saying, "my time will come," according to the Baltimore Sun. He followed that up by saying, "I love it here," although we're pretty sure he'd love it somewhere else where he actually got to play.

All of the Troy trade chatter becomes all the more relevant now following the Ravens' signing of Bulger to be their primary backup to Joe Flacco. As ESPN AFC North blogger James Walker wrote following news of the signing, Smith was unhappy as the No. 2, so it stands to reason he'll be even more perturbed at being the No. 3, emergency QB. This doesn't necessarily mean he'll be traded, but he certainly became much more expendable.

We've argued before that Smith would be a good fit for Chan Gailey's scheme in Buffalo if the coach decides to run some version of the spread offense, but as of yet we haven't heard anything concrete on a possible trade between the Ravens and Bills involving Troy. Moreover, Gailey has stated that while he won't officially name a starter at QB until sometime during the preseason, he expects to have a pecking order, and it's unclear whether he's open to adding a fifth man to that rotation.

One last long-shot option, however, could be the New Orleans Saints, as we wrote earlier. Mark Brunell is likely on his way to the Jets, and the Saints are believed to be close to signing free agent Patrick Ramsey as the veteran backup to Drew Brees. However, the team may want to consider Smith if he is indeed available.

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli writes that Smith might opt to keep quiet and just stick with the Ravens for now:

    Len Pasquarelli

Smith might want to stay put

"Even with the addition of Bulger, the Ravens aren't likely to release either of their other backups, Troy Smith or John Beck, before camp opens. Each youngster is scheduled to make just $1.101 million in 2010. And although Smith very publicly asked for a trade through his then-agent earlier this spring, he isn't going to reiterate that request. With new agent Neil Cornrich, the three-year veteran and 2006 Heisman Trophy winner is now content in Baltimore, even after Bulger's acquisition fattened the depth chart. The former Ohio State star is only 25 years old. Although he's appeared in just 14 games (two starts) in three seasons, he is aware of the benefits of being with a solid franchise, and knows that it sometimes takes a few years for a quarterback to get his shot."

    B-)

    Nice job Fingon!

  7. I cried during my first Bills game. Not b/c they lost or how they played, but I couldn't understand what was going on and why all those people were there.

Mind you it was 1975 and I was only 6 years old, and my only previous memory of the Bills was OJ going over 2,000 yards, but I knew I was safe with my dad, and that was comforting.

My father was a season ticket holder from game one in 1960 and over 48 years I believe he only missed a handful of games. For the greater part of 33 years I went to games with my father and we bickered and cheered all the way.

On our way home after the the home finale against the Giants in 2007, we did our normal post game commentary including the fact that we thought the Giants were "going places" during the post season. As we drew close to home for some reason I jokingly mentioned to him that you never know, that could be his last Bills game.

...It was. He died of Leukemia less than 4 months later.

I'll never, EVER forget the memories my father and I shared together watching football and how they were a common bond for us when we couldn't agree on so many other things. Even in a family of 7, it was just he and I when it came to the Bills.

...I do so wish they would have won the Super Bowl just once while he was here.

Until they do, though, I know he will always be right there with me, cheering (or jeering) them on.

    Go Bills.

  8. The Murderous Ex-Player.

    Watched the whole thing.

It is one of those things that is frozen in my mind: I was at law school and about to go out to dinner with a couple of friends of mine. We went to a pizza place, man I literally can still remember the pizza even though I can't remember what I had for lunch a week ago...then we came back to my place and watched everything unfold.

  9. Ok, technically it has not happened.

    Yet.

But nothing so far has been "required".

    Even these practices are optional.

Back in March, AS was scheduled to receive a $2M roster bonus. All he had to do is come to Buffalo and pass a physical.

Schobel has yet to collect the bonus.

In fact, he stated he was in no hurry to take the physical, and he was not stressing over the money.

Eek. It seems money is no longer the big motivational factor it once was.

Just wait. Once a required activity takes place, I think you will see Schobel declare his retirement.

Truly and finally find out whether he really wants to retire (as has been rumored on this board going back a couple of years) or would be willing to be traded.

Send him down home to Texas and get a 3rd or 4th rounder for him; considering the limited value teams would put on him if he is imminently close to retirement in the next couple of years.

  10. justice stevens, in his opinion, wrote that the NFL consists of 32 profit maximizing enterprises, not a single enterprise. As you note, this has implications for free agency, tv contracts, merchandising and possibly salary caps but I can't see how these bode well for small market teams.

    Yeah, and this concerns me.

In other words, is there some way that it can be wrangled to allow some teams to sign individual contracts?

I know it's a stretch and we are no wheres close to this, but can you imagine if the Cowboys can inch themselves that much closer to the New Yankees and the Bills can inch themselves that much closer to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

  11. "But when the Bills convened here Tuesday for the start of voluntary workouts, Lynch declined to join them."

Why do people make such a big deal that players don't show up when they don't have to?

Because, by his own words, if he really wanted to show his wares, and showcase himself for other teams, he'd show-up up.

I am very much with you on guys not showing up, especially if there are issues concerning future employment.

However, he was the one who said, "Just wait and see!!"

    ....Ooooookkkkk, Marshawn...where are you?

  12. I've always thought the WR class from the 1996 Draft was one of the best of all time. Marvin Harrison and T.O. certainly lead the pack while Keyshawn Johnson, Terry Glenn, Eric Moulds and others had great careers as well. How would you rate the top 10 WR's from that class?

    1. Terrell Owens

    2. Marvin Harrison

    3. Mushin Muhammad

    4. Joe Horn

    5. Keyshawn Johnson

    6. Eric Moulds

    7. Amani Toomer

    8. Terry Glenn

    9. Eddie Kennison

    10. Bobby Engram

Looking at it, this is a very productive class. Not sure if another class can quite compare.

    GO BILLS!

Send on to the NFL Network, SH, they'll have it in one of their "Top 10" shows in less than a week.
