Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills

The things I mention are very important to building chemistry and cohesiveness. I feel it is very important. -
Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
Einstein replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t blame the interception on McDermott. I do however blame the fumble on the coaching staff. Allen should have NEVER been put under center at the goal line. The interior o-line was getting blown up the entire 4th quarter. Over and over and over again. He thought it was smart, knowing that the interior line can’t get ANY push, to try a QB sneak? At the goal one? Before the play I turned to my Dad and said “they have to put him in shotgun”. It was obvious. It was also obvious to double cover Jefferson and they didn’t. Benford and others did a good job in single coverage but Jefferson is too good. You NEED two guys on him. It was coaching failure after coaching failure. -
Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills

It has been reported for a while now (but often swept under the rug) that McDermott has a bit of a dark side. Remember when he lost his (bleep) and cussed out one of the reporters on the practice field because of a report he didn’t like? Or when he suspended Chris Brown (the biggest Bills homer on the planet) from the facility for multiple weeks because he said the wrong thing on the radio? And then there was the note in the Flores lawsuit that talked about how Daboll wanted out of Buffalo, even if it was NOT for a head coach job? When you have that smoke, it becomes implausible that there is no fire. -

At some point Terry and Kim need to ask themselves: How much of Josh Allen’s career are you willing to spend whole McDermott figuring out how to manage in-game situations? -
Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme
Einstein replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. That’s what was happening. We won and therefore all the bad coaching decisions were forgotten about it. Nope. Shouldn’t work that way. -
You have to know your players limitations. A sneak may be appropriate for some teams in that situation, but not ours. Our interior o-line was getting blown up the entire second half. Why do we think that will change at the goal line when the Vikings need to stuff the Bills? Put Allen in shotgun, let him look for a quick pass, or scramble, or throw it away. A quick swing pass in that situation likely gets a couple yards. Maybe a shovel pass. I don’t know. Pretty much anything but what they did. .

What coach plus Allen would be the most successful?
Einstein replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean Payton would have this offenses scoring 40 weekly. -

Perfectly said. -
It sure didn’t feel this hopeless.

Teams need spectacular plays to beat us by 3
Einstein replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Literally anyone. Force their secondary players to beat you. You can absolutely not just continue to allow Jefferson to abuse you 1 on 1. -
This argument (you describe above) never happened. No one was saying Allen is better than Mahomes. You really should read what is written before assuming you know the conversation and replying to it. Here is what actually happened: Poster 1: Chiefs have superb coaching so of course the QB got better after being in a slump Poster 2: Our coaching and players have beaten their superb coaching 2 of the last 3 times so if their staff was able to help him come out of his slump then I have faith ours can too .

Yeah losing Daboll was massive. Just from the steadying presence standpoint that Josh clearly needs and has always had.

What is not how what works?

Except the two aren’t correlat…. eh, nevermind.

I have a very hard time envisioning McDermott holding up a Lombardi Trophy. I hope i’m wrong because I don’t think he’s going anywhere.
-
Your “gotcha” is that he didn’t play well in one half of one game, months after his bad streak of play?

Any other conclusion than this is on the coaches, is just wrong
Einstein replied to cgg716's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have never tried that QB sneak play. Pushjng out of the endzone, when the Vikings d-line had been abusing our interior o-line all day, is different than QB sneaking in the middle of the field. -

Well said. -

Allen should have been in shotgun in the endzone. Trying to QB sneak there was just awful. -
Allen has beaten Mahomes and that staff 2 of the last 3 times they played.

Nothing to do with the Chiefs. It’s comparing great player to great player. Human nature.

NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread
Einstein replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t care about losses as much as I care about how the team played. I am more proud of a gutsy loss with numerous starters out (vs Miami) than I am about a win that we we’re getting blown out or barely held on to get (Ravens).
