  1. Ok, hit a real need. Can we please work on drafting some nastiness now? Give me tough as nails DT, LB, S.
  2. Or had an hc whose scheme wasn't dependent on having a HOF type lb. Can't stand our D.
  3. That def is built to beat anyone. I hate comparing ours to theirs. We seem soft compared to them.
  4. Are there any 1st rd DTs left? I think that was the last one.
  5. If we could swing it with the cap that would give us a very good 1-2 punch at cb.
  6. Yeah, good point. Bosa will probably get hurt at some point. Didn't our rook from last year have some potential though? I'm blanking on the name.
  7. Here are my hopes for the Bills strategy. Starting/difference making players at CB and DT, and if the draft falls well WR, S, and LB. Then depth and special teams. I think there's a decent chance we can get 3 starters. The only thing I don't know is where the needs lie after CB and DT. Do we need a S more than LB? Probably, unless there's injuries at LB but there always are. A WR that has separation would be great but not an absolute need.
  8. You just stick to fighting the night man. No, it's a good idea actually. The first team's to master AI are going to win superbowls IMO. I'm sure teams are already trying, I'm curious how much.
  9. I'm actually starting to get wary of Michigan's DT's. Could they have excelled so much because they have 2 beasts playing together? I'm not saying this is the case but just something i've started worrying about.
  10. I dont mind bringing in an ultra athletic guy to see if his career can be resurrected. Like you said, he can be released if it doesn't work.
  11. Good, hopefully one of them makes it to us so we don't have to trade up. I hope we go DT instead of CB. We seem to do just fine taking corners later anyway. Don't get me wrong, if there's a stud CB go for it. But if not I see DT as a slightly bigger need.
  12. So curious how much difference between our offer and what he wants. Hope we resolve this before the draft.
  13. I actually didn't think the squat was amazing either. But then with his own weight added....
  14. Every team has injuries. Yes, ours were worse certain years but it's not an excuse I would use year after year.
  15. Who cares about regular season??? How's our D in the playoffs?
  16. You just summed up my problem with McDermott. The more injuries you have the more creative you should be. Cb blitzes, major risk taking should be considered. Not what we get , especially on defense.
  17. We are best at developing dbs and safeties. (I'll know I'm wrong if we draft a safety high lol)
  18. This is 1 of the next Hyde/Poyer. Watch.
  19. You think we have to move up to get K Grant if he's a major target?
  20. I think this is accurate. If Beane views this draft as weak we may trade back to next year. Honestly it's smart if that's an accurate assessment of the draft.
  21. Nah, what we need is a jag, hear me out...
  22. People seem pretty split I think on who is more to blame for not having a title. Seems like it's close to consensus that we have top 3rd of the league coach and gm. I still lean mcd as more at fault, though it's close. I just don't think he has the creativity at the end of the day to take out top coaches and overall his DEF has been putrid in the playoffs. But I see the other side. We lack elite playmakers. That's on Beane.
  23. Ok, very fair take. Probably correct in hindsight.
  24. I agree. He does take risks, like with Von, but he's less apt to try for the risky moves.
