Let's be honest, the Bucs have looked to buy the Superbowl this year. Their offense is insane if it clicks - Brady, Gronk, Evans, Goodwin, Miller, Fournette, Brate... so many possibilities there.

The Bucs need a TD from this play, though. The Chiefs will surely regroup and get it together at half time if not before.

I was reading one article yesterday that spelt out that Josh wasn't outclassed by Mahomes. There was differential elsewhere but the Quarterback play was hardly MVP v Rookie.

Through a punch against us - nothing. Look funny at a Bucs player - flag. Not that I'm complaining... much.

And even if he fumbled it's not as if the Chiefs would have gained much on a turnover.

And the TB defense seemingly suddenly forget to double up on Hill.

Just replaying it on the UK coverage - one angle looks short, another angle looks good. The pundits seem pretty sure it is short, though.

Now, will Ariens do a McDermott.

Brady's got an elite offense around him; no way would he have reached the Superbowl with the Patriots this year.

If Josh had a run game like this we could well be playing tonight instead of the Chiefs. Well that, or we would have lost by three instead of 14.

The game's so much tougher when you can't just do what you want to halt plays.

One holding call is enough; it makes the defense aware they're being watched.

We need variation on both sides of the ball. We're getting there but without the variation we won't get over the line. KC look human though, and that's all we can hope for heading into the off season.

The run game is far more potent against the KC defence than the pass game. We were playing with one hand tied behind our backs.

KC are great - we made them look world class. The fact is everyone had, to different degrees, an off day against the Chiefs and we had to bring our A Game to have a chance.

Look it this way, we're the second best team in the AFC. For years, we were going into the season thinking we may just manage to be the second best team in the AFC East!

As did Brady. And straight away the Bucs defence doubled up on Kelce and Hill.

I’ll preface this by saying I love Josh as Quarterback but I guess the easy way to settle this, taking the heart and emotion out of it, is if the Chiefs lost their senses and offered a straight trade for Mahomes then I think most of us, albeit not overly happily, would accept it. Hopefully next year, at the very least, it won’t be such an easy thing to consider.

Stefanski beating McDermott strikes me as very strange - maybe the former called a better game in the divisional round compared to the latter in the championship round but it’s meant to be about the season as a whole. I’m surprised of the vote count difference between Rodgers and Josh as well. Maybe I’m biased on both counts but feel Josh should have been much closer at the very least.

Josh is definitely our MVP - he had Diggs but Rodgers had Adams. Not sure about the gap in the voting there but maybe I’m a bit biased!

That's devastating news. Neil Reynolds, the UK coverage host, asked either Marc or Greg how he was doing either during the divisional or championship round and it was sounding positive. My thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP.

Every player has a question mark going into next season, at every team. Random things can happen which no one expects - some progress more than expected, some surprisingly regress, it's pot luck. Yes, you'd suspect those who have established themselves to keep pushing on but the NFL shocks time and again.

The question is did we struggle to adapt because of mentality or ability? In both games we should have at least given them something else to think about and in both games we failed to do so.
