    I’m not sure we’ve officially cut anyone yet today, but going off reports I think I’m right in saying the below have apparently been so: RB - Duke Johnson, Raheem Blackshear WR - Tanner Gentry TE - OJ Howard OL - Alec Anderson, Luke Tenuta DL - CJ Brewer, Brandin Bryant, Prince Emili I’ve probably missed some so say if so!

    Claims it relates to the release of Tony Jefferson by the Ravens. Though that doesn’t explain why there are no references to the Saints on his Twitter account.

    I always expected Matakevich to be retained, and probably Jones too. Kumerow is the one who I thought we might cut.

    Perhaps Barkley knows he’s going to be cut but has already said he won’t accept any other offers and will stay with the PS?

    Think I would have cut Kumerow personally. Don’t like what we’re doing one bit so far.

    If Johnson was cut, then Blsckshear was always going to follow.

    Knowing the offence is one thing, but being able to help towards it is another. We may still relegate him to PS.

    Howard is a horrendous move all over. If we’re going to bring in a third TE, or just go with Knox and Morris, then just about ok though the cap hit isn’t good. If we keep Sweeney ahead of him considering his weaknesses and cap hit difference, it’s bizarre.

    The likes of Skurski, Fairburn and Maiorana need to watch GMFB and see the class and dignity they treated the subject matter with compared to the shock jock approach they’ve taken. The difference between true journalism and sensationalism.

    Have to admit, American law baffles me. Pretty sure in the U.K. neither side would be able to do battle for hearts and minds in the media this way as it would be seen as prejudicing any further trial. It’d be kept private until the court case began.

    ALLEGEDLY. I’ve been running around telling everyone who’s been sentencing Araiza that this is alleged but the fact is the defence is alleged evidence at this stage too. It proves nothing for now, just as the lawsuit proves nothing either.

    Slightly concerning for the process of law that a family of an alleged perpetrator can release a far more dignified, respectful and fair statement than a defence attorney.

    This is the issue - do you accept growing pains or switch at the first time of trouble? Most sides elect the former; Josh, for example, had the fearsome competition of Peterman and Barkley, rather than someone who has Super Bowl appearances against his name, which meant he was allowed to sort through his issues and gremlins without a threat hanging over him.

    Depends on the evidence. I think he could come back from it as long as he isn’t found guilty of statutory rape - or, of course, worse.
