Cool story. We live in the San Diego area, home to a great Bills Backers bar (right, @muppy?) called the Local in PB. My daughter just moved to Monterey to start her junior year at college, which is about seven hours north of us (sad part of the story 😳). I told her she should look for a place up there to hang out with some bills fans. I know when most people think of California, they think of a big population and rightfully so. That said, Monterey only has about 30,000 people in it so she thought the chances of finding some thing up there wasn’t good. Lo and behold, she’s not even looking for it mind you, and she finds a Bills Backers flyer for Monterey on the door of a sandwich shop. 😃 So, wherever you live, or wherever you’re traveling to for vacation, make sure you look to see if there’s a Bills Backers chapter in your area. Even in a smaller city, you may be surprised to find that there’s one there or near. I found this website today (didn’t know about it until today) where you can check how far one is from where you live or are traveling to. Day 1 of our most wonderful time of the year couldn’t have gone any better. Mahomes 21-39 (53.9%) 2 TDs, 1 INT (pick 6) 226 yards passing, 45 yards rushing 77.5 passer rating I know his WRs didn’t help but who cares how he got these stats. They still happened and the Chiefs are 0-1. Go Bills!

In context, his comments were based off of the Ravens record 24 preseason game winning streak coming to an end. But, he hits the nail on the head on why preseason is still important. Not the outcome of games, the 90s Bills proved that the outcome doesn’t matter, but fighting for a spot on the field matters. Even when we go to an 18 game season (which I’m in favor of), preseason will still have its place. Won’t play against the Colts but McD indicated JA will play at some point in the preseason. I’d say a series or two in the 2nd preseason game. Go Bills!

Even if the Jets are going to be a good team and a tough out, they have a decent chance to start poorly. While not a murderer’s row, their first part of the schedule is pretty tough. Depending on how poor of a start, it could be a tough hole to get out of. Bills, at Cowboys, Pats, Chiefs, at Broncos, Eagles, at Giants and Chargers Go Bills!

I’m hoping for that too, bro. While our playoff drought was bad, at least it’s not the longest playoff drought in NFL history. The Commanders, Cardinals (St. Louis/Chicago), Steelers (was surprised by this one) and the Saints have had longer playoff droughts.
