I know we need to play better and the coaches need to get the best out of the players they have, but this is pretty telling to our struggles. Look at the difference between us, the Dolphins, the Chiefs and the Bengals. Hopefully we can stick around and get a couple/few players back and have a good shot come playoff time. With our secondary banged up and another two starters out for this game, someone on our DL has to step up to get the Broncos offense off. Look for that person to be Von Miller as he starts to return to form. Russ is susceptible to being sacked so look for Von to get two sacks, one of them being a strip sack. He’ll also bring a few pressures that’ll make Russ force a few throws that’ll go incomplete on a couple critical third downs. Who ya got? Go Bills! "Being here was not a mistake. It was not by chance. It was manufactured," the quarterback told 13WHAM Newsin 2020. “As little as I could remember, driving to school with my dad and he would take his cellphone and pretend to interview me like I had just won the Super Bowl." When Josh was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2018, Joel recorded a personal message to his son. “I know you’re going to do some amazing things, and your mom and dad, we’re 100% behind you,” Joel said. “I’m so proud of you. Love you son.” LaVonne also said, “We never had anticipated this happening to Josh this quickly. We always had dreams and hopes that he would someday get there, but this has just been kind of a crazy ride.” Here’s the link to the full article: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/josh-allens-parents-joel-lavonne-172646595.html Go Bills!

This game was a little tougher than normal for me to pick. I’m going with Micah Hyde. The Bengals’ pass catchers will get their yards but we can’t give up many big plays. Look for Hyde to take away the deep ball by playing good coverage as well as take away some potential chunk plays by sound tackling. Look for him to also have a game changing turnover, whether an INT or a FF. Who ya got? Go Bills! Here’s a preview of the game. *Click on “Watch on YouTube” in the screen below.

Week 9, Bills v. Bengals - Predict the Score

Nice pick, bro. Sometimes it seems like you have a little more nerves against a team, but this week, your posts have exuded lots of confidence as far as a Bills victory goes. Just a gut feeling? Or, do you see something you like in this matchup? Go Bills! -

Week 9 thread - We’re on to Cincinnati

Bro, I could be wrong, but the person that tweeted this is a Bills fan. Even on his handle, it says diehard bills fan. Go Bills! -
I agree, bro. Like you, I'm not saying the Bengals can't win, but we have a great chance to win. And, when we've played our best this year, our best looks way better than their best. And, they've been inconsistent too just like we have. It's obviously not the end all but the ESPN matchup predictor has us winning 66.9% of the time to the Bengals' 32.8% of the time. Here's the link - https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401547523. Go Bills!

Huge game! With the Chiefs losing today and them playing the Dolphins next week, with a win, the Bills are right back in the mix. If the point spread holds and the Bills stay the underdog, it’s pretty incredible that we went 27 straight games favored especially with our first place schedule over the past couple years. Let’s go Buffalo. Get the W and be right back towards the top where you belong. Go Bills!

I totally understand what you mean by it being a mild upset if we beat the Eagles. That said, the ESPN analytics matchup predictor surprisingly has us winning 58% of the time vs the Eagles winning a little under 42% of the time. https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401547558 I don’t know, bro. Do you want to ask them for me? If you do, you can say “asking for a friend“ and you’d legitimately mean that. 🤣 YES!!! That’s the spirit. 😃

I agree, bro. I rewatched some of the game with my son. There were literally like 6-7 things that happened in those final two drives where if one of those things went the Bills way, the outcome would’ve looked differently. I was encouraged by the offense as well. They looked really good and played with a great pace. They can continue to build on this moving forward. The boxscore doesn’t reveal how good we played. If one of those six or seven things go our way (which most times at least one of them would have), the end of the game would’ve revealed what really happened which is that we outplayed them by a pretty good amount. Go Bills!

This one was close because there was three WRs that played pretty evenly. So, I went with who the announcers said the player of the game was. They picked Dalton Kincaid. Congratulations to everyone of you that picked him. Also, he had his first TD in the NFL in front of Bills Mafia. That’s awesome. Go Bills!

The Bills offense has looked a lot better in the 2nd half the last few games with an uptempo approach. Maybe this’ll give them the spark they need. This would also help JA read coverages better. Diggs mentioned the need for JA to have more time to assess the defense by already being lined up in his presser. Should we call it the A-Gun? Or, I guess since it was named after Keith McKellar, our TE at the time, we should call it the D-Gun after Dawson/Dalton.

We've all known for awhile that we need someone else to step up besides Diggs. Even in our losses, he has had good games. While I don't like that Dawson Know and Quinton Morris are injured and out, this could be a way to establish Dalton Kincaid as a legitimate weapon (it started in the Pats game). With the kind of offense the Bills are trying to install, it's imperative that the Bills have someone opposite Diggs that can be relied upon when he's double covered or even doesn't have the best of games. Look for DK2 to be the person on Thursday night to get the crucial conversions to keep drives alive and the momentum going. I'm going with 9 catches for 93 yards, one of those being his first ever TD in the NFL and in front of Bills Mafia. Hopefully we'll even see him in the slot role since our two other TEs are out for the game as maybe we're forced to play more 11 personnel instead 12 personnel. Who ya got? In McD's presser today, one of the reporters brought up that he heard about the possibility of a players only meeting. McD didn't confirm either way but it was brought up by one of the reporters. Here's the link to the presser. It's pretty much at the eight minute mark - https://www.buffalobills.com/video/sean-mcdermott-everything-in-moderation-buffalo-bills @BUFFALOTONE@BillsFanNC

If true, hopefully it’s a proactive approach that brings the team together. You can right this ship just like you did in 2021. It started with the Bucs in 2021, it can start with them again this year. Go Bills! Credit to @Pine Barrens Mafia for posting this first in the weekly thread.

BB’s specialty is to take away your best player and he’s just not able to typically do it with #14. Just like with JA, for some reason, BB just doesn’t have an answer for him. So, I’m going with Mr. Patriots and BB killer, Stefon Diggs. JA and him will click early and often which will establish an early and mounting lead. With Oliver being out, our best defense will be our offense scoring early and not taking their foot off the gas. With Diggs’ dominance affecting the scoreboard, this’ll force the Pats run game to be kept somewhat at bay since they’ll be having to play catch-up the whole game and throw more than they want to. Diggs for 9-117-2TDs Who ya got? Here’s a preview of the game. *Click on “Watch on YouTube” in the screen below. Go Bills!

Thanks for sharing. Yes, totally get this and know that the schedule has been set for years. It’s just crazy that because of where everyone placed last year (and the London decision) that we only play one division winner at home out of the five games we play against division winners this year. You would think with nine home and eight away games, if there was any imbalance, it would've been that we would've only played one division winner on the road. But because of where everyone placed last year, along with the London decision, we get one home game against a division winner. Like I said though, if anyone can do it, why not us. Go Bills!

I’ll start out by saying that it's not that the NFL has something against the Bills as the structure of the schedule has been out for years at this point. When the schedule first came out, it was apparent that most of the Bills harder games were on the road. But tonight, I realized that out of FIVE games that we play against DIVISION WINNERS, we only play ONE at home. And, that one at home happens to be the easiest team of all five: -Jags - at maximum this was a neutral field game, but it definitely wasn't a home game and most likely favored the Jags -Bucs - our one home game -Bengals - on the road -Eagles - on the road -Chiefs - on the road And like I mentioned, it's not the NFL messing with the Bills. You could argue the "experiment" of the Jags playing two games in a row was them messing with us but some team had to play that role. It really came down to a set of unfortunate circumstances. Since the schedule has been out for years, it came down to where teams placed last year. For instance, say the Raiders would've won the division last year. Since it was their turn to play us in OP, that would've been a division winner that we would've played in Buffalo. Or, if the Cowboys would've won the division last year, since we're playing them in OP this year, that would've been another division winner we would've played at home. You would think with nine home and eight away games, if there was any imbalance, it would've been that we would've only played one division winner on the road. But, because of where everyone placed last year (and the London decision), we only play one division winner at home. I'm not necessarily scared to play these teams on the road as Buffalo can beat any of them. We've beat the Chiefs twice in two years, the Eagles look very beatable and the Bengals are not the team they were last year (at least not at this point). It's just crazy that with nine home games, we only play one division winner at home. If anyone can overcome it though, why not us. Go Bills!
