I lurk here every so often...i really meant what I said, some people do a great job of giving a readers digest version of the important issues, sure you wade through a ton of BS, but you can always get some good insight. I am too lazy to dissect these issues myself and find myself acting like the other knee jerks on one side or the other. after reading this, i went to the memories pizza place in indiana's yelp page and dear lord was that a fun read.....

In all seriousness and not to blast you, but there is a good thread over on PPP that lays out this issue pretty concisely for people like me that don't take the time to really read and understand the issues at hand and use social media to see how I should feel. Wade through some of the BS over there and there is some really good explanations. I will add, why just Indiana, there are at least 20 other states with the same law and in fact this law is almost identical to the federal one signed by Clinton in 94....

good discussion by most of you here, I like a lot of people, am too lazy and dim-witted to read and understand the actual law and are therefore heavily influenced by news headlines, social media etc. there was a good deal of concise information about what the laws(both federal and state) actually say. I would be 100% against any business that refused to serve gay people, muslim people, old people, etc, but they cannot be forced to do so...i can however voice my opinion and spend my dollars elsewhere. Businesses will have to live and die by their decisions on who they choose to serve and who they decide not to serve.

nothing quite like coming out of a christmas season knowing you won't have any bills arriving in the mail....i haven't used credit in over 20 years....sure sometimes you have to put off doing things or plan a bit further out, but none of my christmas gifts i buy get more expensive in time

I am constantly struggling financially, my only piece of advice is to put your pride aside, do what you need to do to make your life better...everyone has some sort of issues, don't feel like you are alone, we all have something we are dealing with. Pride gets in the way of asking for help and trying to wrap your arms around your problems. Once you do that, you can start working toward reducing your daily stress.

I use Yelp to help decide whether to go or not, truthfully, I sort by most recent and then read the 3+star reviews because frankly I don't trust the 1 & 2 star crowds, they seem to have ulterior motives or are simply whiny little bitches. if someone takes the time to lay out a specific reason for their bad review then I will read that, but most are not worth reading.
