  1. i will need to listen to the show first before i make up my mind that she ruined it
  2. she could be the hottest thing ever but there is no way in hell i am watching that video, it will totally freak me out...
  3. i'm listening to the show right now, love Candy Man, and Oteil joining the Rhythm Devils?????? what a treat
  4. You make that sound like it's a bad thing
  5. He's gotta put up with that head case Boogie Cousins, amazing talent, absolute immature jerk
  6. Rose going to the Knicks could be very interesting, if he can stay healthy

  8. oh goodness no, we paid 150 per plus stupid fees. Jam bands aren't for everyone, i get it, but it allows for a lot of fun with the audience during the long jams keep in mind, 3 of the 6 members are in their 70's, plus it's kinda always been that way, relatively short 1st set, then extended long second set. And the instrumentalists get an extra half hour break as Mickey and Billy do Drums>Space, it's the expected structure of a dead show. funny to say structure and dead show in the same sentence, but for as much jamming as they do, it is very structured
  9. wendys recently had that ghost pepper chicken sandwich...it was very good. i think they got rid of it though
  10. i really don't think it's excuses, but it is unfortunate, much like last year when Love and Irving went down. You always want to see 2 healthy squads go at each other, and if you lose an important piece it's a serious blow, but ya gotta try to overcome. Saw this today on facebook and it cracked me up!!!
  11. i made the trek to Chicago and saw an incredible show with the core 4 and Trey, now I have seen the current line-up twice in the last 7 months and they are awesome. I do not feel cheated in any way, i am just happy to have the music carry on for new and old fans. after all, the experience is less about the guys on stage as it is those in attendance and the vibe of the crowd, it's a great time!
  12. i think they all knew that Phil didn't want to/couldn't handle a full tour schedule with his cancer. they wanted to do something for the 50th with the 'core 4', but the others wanted to keep the band going, phil and john mayer played together at terrapin crossroads and phil probably told bobby & company that this was their guy and the rest is history. Phil i think is loving life playing with his kids at crossroads and doing select capitol theater shows.
  13. 1st set was 7PM-8:30, 30 minute break, second set was 9:05-11:30
  14. had the spicy 2 piece, red beans and rice and 2 jalapenos last week on my trip to richmond....so damn good!!!
  15. they are really killing it so far on the summer tour. hell, even Drums>Space is something to look forward to. Bobby seems to have found a new source of energy. Jeff C is a really nice addition to the lineup, he has such a nice piano sound, so glad they chose him over Bruce Hornsby(nothing at all against Bruce). Oteil keeps looming larger each show, hell, he even got to sing in Cincy this past weekend. All in all, a nice revival of a great band and some excellent music. Can't wait to hear your Portland story
  16. absolutely beautiful day for a show, hot, but no humidity, plenty of ice cold beers. Place was packed and they sounded awesome. John Mayer is just tearing it up, and better yet, he was wearing jorts . Hopefully some of y'all are planning on catching them on the summer tour, they are really opening up the catalog with some nice songs. Standing on the Moon is one of my favorite Dead songs, especially when Brent Mydland did it, but man did Mayer do a nice job on it last night, it was a very nice philly tribute.
  17. and seriously, let's cut Cam a bit of slack, sure he messed up early on, but the guy is an absolute football stud, and as far as I know, a pretty good ambassador for the game and the area, sure I don't hear all the local stories that you may be privy to, but **** happens to young people, we need to be able to move on and hope they grow as adults.
  18. I really like LeBron, may be the best player ever. That said, GS is such an enigma in today's NBA and they are fun to watch. I want buffalo to win a title before Cleveland, I'm about 52-48 golden state
  19. Amen, brother!
  20. if you guys are watching big band theory for sheldon cooper, you probably are also failing at life
  21. It really is a fun show and she is perfect in that role. Also nice to see carol kane on the TV screen again
  22. i'd give him a standing O, don't like him because he always beat us, and a lot of others, but I'd applaud his accomplishments
  23. cleveland has really stepped up it's defense and you can tell it is frustrating the hell out of golden state. this is 2 of the last 3 games where they jumped out to double digit 1st quarter leads...can't do that and expect to win. Lebron and Irving are playing out of their minds, especially Kyrie. Golden State has to shake it off and get ready for the home court, Barnes needs to contribute too if they have any chance of stopping Cleveland. I wish Curry hadn't done what he did after the last foul, but I think he realized he f***ed up big time and i am glad he acknowledged and apologized to the fans immediately, a lot of players wouldn't have and that would have allowed the fans to fester and increase their hatred, i think he somewhat stopped that bleeding by his immediate actions. Can't wait for game 7
