  4. fixed it for you! She was really a great coach
  5. making it easier for pirates
  6. sounds like Donna Jean is back in Citi Field tonight. Belting out "Music Never Stopped", she's not ruining it though, so that's a good thing
  7. i will need to listen to the show first before i make up my mind that she ruined it
  8. she could be the hottest thing ever but there is no way in hell i am watching that video, it will totally freak me out...
  9. i'm listening to the show right now, love Candy Man, and Oteil joining the Rhythm Devils?????? what a treat

  14. oh goodness no, we paid 150 per plus stupid fees. Jam bands aren't for everyone, i get it, but it allows for a lot of fun with the audience during the long jams keep in mind, 3 of the 6 members are in their 70's, plus it's kinda always been that way, relatively short 1st set, then extended long second set. And the instrumentalists get an extra half hour break as Mickey and Billy do Drums>Space, it's the expected structure of a dead show. funny to say structure and dead show in the same sentence, but for as much jamming as they do, it is very structured
  15. wendys recently had that ghost pepper chicken sandwich...it was very good. i think they got rid of it though
  16. i really don't think it's excuses, but it is unfortunate, much like last year when Love and Irving went down. You always want to see 2 healthy squads go at each other, and if you lose an important piece it's a serious blow, but ya gotta try to overcome. Saw this today on facebook and it cracked me up!!!
  17. i made the trek to Chicago and saw an incredible show with the core 4 and Trey, now I have seen the current line-up twice in the last 7 months and they are awesome. I do not feel cheated in any way, i am just happy to have the music carry on for new and old fans. after all, the experience is less about the guys on stage as it is those in attendance and the vibe of the crowd, it's a great time!
  18. i think they all knew that Phil didn't want to/couldn't handle a full tour schedule with his cancer. they wanted to do something for the 50th with the 'core 4', but the others wanted to keep the band going, phil and john mayer played together at terrapin crossroads and phil probably told bobby & company that this was their guy and the rest is history. Phil i think is loving life playing with his kids at crossroads and doing select capitol theater shows.
  19. 1st set was 7PM-8:30, 30 minute break, second set was 9:05-11:30
  20. had the spicy 2 piece, red beans and rice and 2 jalapenos last week on my trip to richmond....so damn good!!!
  21. they are really killing it so far on the summer tour. hell, even Drums>Space is something to look forward to. Bobby seems to have found a new source of energy. Jeff C is a really nice addition to the lineup, he has such a nice piano sound, so glad they chose him over Bruce Hornsby(nothing at all against Bruce). Oteil keeps looming larger each show, hell, he even got to sing in Cincy this past weekend. All in all, a nice revival of a great band and some excellent music. Can't wait to hear your Portland story
