Seemingly easy question, who would you rather have on your team. ...steph curry or kawhai leonard? -
Isn't the mother a former Syracuse women's star player?

finance question: line of credit vs personal loan
The Poojer replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
that whole Interest Rate was a red flag for me...when I asked about loan vs loc, she immediately told me 8.99% rate for personal loan but said the loc was a variable rate and had to pay a minimum of 2% of o/s balance...never gave me a variable rate, maybe because it is a variable rate and they don't want people thinking that giving a rate locks them into that rate. I would like to pay the LOC off in 5 years, similar to how long it would take to pay off the personal loan...main problem with the current student loan is it has a repayment schedule of 110 months and yet it is only .01% higher interest rate than the 5 year personal loan...my 'cipherin' brain can't figure that one out. I just want to symbolically get rid of the student loan debt once and for all....finally. I am just getting myself into using credit and am trying to be careful. Not sure I want an open ended LOC sitting out there, but if I am smart about it, where is the real danger? -

finance question: line of credit vs personal loan

credit is good, worked hard the past couple of years to get it in pretty good standing...the debt is only around 15K. I do not own a house and my 99 Nissan Maxima isn't worth anywhere close to 15K :-) -
finance question: line of credit vs personal loan

have a small to medium 9% leftover student loan that i have neglected for far too long and finally got on the good side of the situation. problem is it is for waaaay too long. called my credit union can either get a 8.99% 5 year personal loan for 5 years with only a minor bump in monthly payments or a line of credit with a variable rate and need to pay 2% of used balance, but that line of credit stays open. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to one over the other? I really just want to get the student loan out of the way(yeah i know, with another loan). Thoughts? -
what an absolute joke the ncaa/njcaa organization is, this 'poor' kid just wants to play basketball and they have made it difficult for him every step of the way, it seems.... http://www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2016/05/former_syracuse_recruit_moustapha_diagne_has_lost_his_junior_college_eligibility.html

I just called them because i have been going through data and costing myself extra money each month. Called to inquire about adding more data....they immediately saw i was on an older plan and bumped me to 12GB(4 lines) at the same price as I had been paying...also made it retroactive to the beginning of current month, so damage has been diminished...then the guy asks if i am a fios customer, i respond that I am, he then doubles my data at no extra charge...i was ready to spend more money for a bump in my data plan, turns out with minimal requests on my part, i walk away with 14 extra gigs of data and not paying one penny more..... to often we only hear bad customer service stories(especially with wireless and cable customers), this was the exact opposite. carry on!

good luck to him, he was stuck behind good players and couldn't break free. He should be a very strong player...

try watching all the episodes if you haven't, i also thought it was overly predictable, but it really did have some substance to it, it got much better as it went on, i was pleasantly surprised. Peaky Blinders is one i need t o check out..

I had a really hard time getting past the laugh track, but i finally binge watched the whole season and man am i loving this show. simple humor but pretty deep subject matters about family relationships. I also love That 70's Show so this had a lot of elements that i knew i would love. I cannot wait for the second season. Love the show!!

Check out this cat, sounds like an old 1920's wax recording from a Delta Bluesman, but its a young Australian dude! http://thekey.xpn.org/2016/05/02/c-w-stoneking-2/#more-195143 -
i imagine the cost of keeping it running would not be possible for the average joe that is lucky enough to plunk down $49 and win it.

doesn't sound like Syracuse has any better chance than anyone else he is visiting, but this would be incredible http://www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2016/05/syracuse_gets_visit_from_7-foot_turkish_center_omer_yurtseven.html#incart_m-rpt-1

what do you personally think of the Claypool/Lennon thing....I really think Lennon completely takes away from the 'genius' that is Les Claypool.

my personal recommendations(anyone can pick Yes, Boz Scaggs etc) are in red. I highlighted Claypool Lennon simply for Claypool, I heard the song they put out and I just don't like it, time for Sean Lennon to stop trying to be significant. Charles Bradley will knock you freaking socks off as will Ray LaMontagne, especially with MMJ(les Yim Yames) backing him. Noel Gallagher because he's awesome and there's always the chance he will act like an ass. Slightly Stoopid is a group that I have wanted to see but have yet to get out to see. Ben Harper is fabulous live(just saw him a month ago). That is an absolute killer lineup of summer music

it was on American Masters last night. Wow, what a great show, some great footage, great insight into a pretty tortured soul. She was just an amazing singer and was able to emote that power in her songs. If you get a chance to see it it is well worth the 2 hours of time. Narrated by Cat Power who does a very good job as well, you almost think it's Janis speaking. Pretty cool to see the members of Big Brother, Kozmic Blues and Full Tilt, also cool to see Kris Kristopherson talk about Bobbi McGee song. https://www.yahoo.com/tv/janis-joplin-pbs-little-girl-blue-171302320.html

Round of drinks from another table ?

for me it's simply an old fashioned thing that we all(or at least I specifically) need to get past, sure it's a very nice gesture to pay for your dates' meals, but in todays day and age of double income(hopefully equitable), it's just not practical anymore. I, personally was just bustin' on you.
