  1. This just in. Fina was not even on the Bills Super Bowl XXV Team.
  2. I never said he was an all time great player but I do think he is in the top 5. You are so wrong that it is not worth aguing about. Just one more point. He was drafted by Bill Polian. I guess he know nothing about talent in the NFL?
  3. Two games is too early to count out Minnesota or Dallas. Buffalo is another story. We have not been competitve in either game.
  4. It's crazy to talk about firing the coach. Gailey needs to have a few years to turn this around. We have very few good players on this team.
  5. Horrible outlook. Lets not forget that Whitner dropped an interception that would have stopped them from scoring and McCargo is not even good enough to dress. Most depressing is the play of Wood. I expected more. Maybin still looks like a child out there. Clay Mathews Jr -- WOW!!!
  6. "THIS TEAM HAS THE PEICES IN PLACE." "THE REST WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF." Are you kidding me? True Trent has many flaws but the offensive line is ABSOLUTELY and POSITIVELY pathetic. Could Mathews have had any easier sacks? How about the dropped passes? How about no NFL starting calibers players at TE or a #2 WR? How about no passes completed to Lee Evans? How about a #1 draft pick running back that has 8 rushing yards in two weeks? How about no sacks, no QB pressure, and no QB hurries? How about no linebackers that can cover anybody? How about no forced turnbovers in two weeks? Yes -- put Fitz in and ALL OF THIS WILL GET FIXED.
  7. No he did not suck. His sucking is just more TSW folk lore. If you look at All Time Bills left tackles he in in the top 5. Woolford was number 1. After that Stew Barber (60's), John Fina, Dave Foley (Electric Co) and Ken Jones (80's) were all very good players. He was a very good lineman that did his job, played with injuries, and was a team player. If we had him back in his prime he would easily be the best lineman on our team right now.
  8. I don't see a trade here. No matter how much "Boubon" Buddy drinks
  9. Funny how people want to replace Hangartner when Green and Bell are the weak spots. What fact does anyone have that Wood is ready to be a center in the NFL? Let's not rewrite history. Scott was just plan horrible, as was Chambers. Scott is no better than Green but lets give Green a few games since he is coming off of an injury. That said, I watched Green closely while at the Miami game and he was not good. I could see Meredith moving to RT when Bell is healthy enought ot play a full gme. I do not expect anything from Wang either. As I have been saying all off season, we did not do enough to address OT. There were players we could have pursued. We could be in for a long season with the tackles we have. This could be the worst set of OT's in Bills history.
  10. This is a depressing thread. Everything said here has been rehashed over and over since the draft. I am not a fan of our OL, especially the tackles. I am not a Trent fan either. We have who we have and I understand why they made the picks they did. Can we play more than one game before we give up the ship?
  11. Poz played an excellent game on Sunday. Hawk is better than Poz? By what measure? Hawk doesn't even play.
  12. If he has a point he has immature way of making it. Nix should get more than one game, don't you think?
  13. Miami's OL played a very good game. If their WR's hold on to the ball and if Henne is better the game is a complete blow out. Buffalo's OL played a very poor game. All three tackles gave up a sacks. All three were blown up on running plays. All three did not hold up on screens. Green was the worst but all there are way below average. Our tackles are a 7th round project, and Practice Squad refugee, and a UDRFA that toiled miserably on a bad OL in Oakland. Chan did not even try to match the best part of our OL, the interior, up against Miami's interior. Chan's gameplan was to attack the edges and it was a bad plan. HELP NEEDED.
  14. ^ My nomination for worst post of the year. Please try to grow up. Please.
  15. You were not there and this went far beyond naughty words. To see a mother getting subjected to filthy and suggestive language in front of her children is pathetic. Someday you may be in the same position with your family.
  16. They were not F-15's. F-15 are loud and scary. Those were harmelss T-38 trainer jets. They were late on the fly over but I think the started they anthem early.
  17. You must be new here? No one can figure that out. We can't figure out why they paid Dockery so much money, or why they thought Melvin Fowler was good, or why they thought Walker could play LT on a no-huddle offense, etc., etc. Green was much better than Calloway. Green is bad, but not that bad.
  18. There were boos several times. The very first series was a 3 and out which led to boos becaue the sack was so pitiful. They even booed the Jills on the big screen. Lot sof frustration in the stands. Walking out of the Ralph felt like a funeral. Almost as bad as the Cleveland game last year.
  19. I had a great trip visiting family and friends. Alway love going back to Buffalo. The game was a disappointment, here are my thoughts on it: 1. Our OL was very bad, no surprise here, especially the tackles. Green is worse than Butler who was worse than Walker. Bell did ok, not great. Meredith was very poor playing for Bell in the 4th quarter. Most disappoining factor was that the Bills did not run enough and that they did not even try to run up the middle. They conceded that to the Phins and Chan said as much. So the strength of our line did not even get a chance. 2. Edwards look like he did last year. True --- No blocking and no time but happy feet and no poise. I saw recievers open but he had no time to set up and deliver. He cannot throw on the move and he will not throw down field unless someone is wide open. 3. 3 starting RBs? Blah. I would trade any one of them for Jake Long right now, no question. 4. The defense looked good but now have teams have film and can us it to rip our LBs to shreds. None of them can cover .. Kelsay and Davis are very weak in coverage. Poz played well and will be missed. So did the secondary, especially McKelvin. 5. Biggest disappointment was Chan's game plan. It was one demisional and not very creative. He was rightwhen he said he did not have the offense prepared. 6. Tha fans - lots of drunk and disorderly idiots around me only made it worse.
  20. I was at the Ralph yesterday. I too am getting pretty tired of the knuckle heads, aged 18-28, that get drunk and abusive, use profanity with woman and children within earshot, and think they are just being loyal fans. Most of them know nothing about the Bills or football. I have know ne specific example that anyone has not seen or heard, just getting tired of the bad behavior and the rotten pop culture that has invaded the country.
  21. I don't hate anyone. I think you might be surprised by Edwards and McKelvin. I think Poz is a good player and he are much better with him than without. Brandon is a fabulous business man who could successfully market and sell ice cubes to Eskimos. I will agree that he needs to stay out of football decisions, especially related to personnel. Don't blame Brandon for Ralph's organizational mistakes.
  22. I travel a lot too. I think you will find a sports bar in Little Rock that will play the game. Good luck,
  23. 92 posts to your credit and now you are one of the thread police? If you don' get it then why say anything at all?
  24. Hey thanks. I will check it out. I don't think its cold but it feels like fall already. Talkign to people tonight st Chefs. Most people feel good about Gailey but questioning the commitment of the FO to improve the team.
  25. Ah yes, back in my hometown for the season opener. This is a special one too, against Miami. Some people say the rivalry is done but it runs deep in me. I expect a great game. Going out with family and friends tonight. Maybe to Chef's, maybe out for a fish fry? Saturday will be more of the same. Then the tailgate at ECC Parking lot. I have lots off concerns about the team that I have harped on in the past. I do think they will be exciting and will play hard. I am not much for predictions but I have to go for the Bills. No one one knows what Gailey will do. Spiller is going to make plays. The defense could surprise us too. Buffalo 27 - Miami 20 See you at the game!
