  1. Ever been to SD? There is no shortage of beautiful women.
  2. Fitz made his first NFL throw of the day.
  3. Hmmmm ... Lynch and Jackson or Jackson and Spiller?
  4. Flutie was much better than Fitz.
  5. Rivers perfect game ended by Florence Henderson.
  6. Fitz throws to no buddy according to the tasking heads.
  7. Fred Belitnikoff and three cans of stick'em would help this team.
  8. The best thing is we are already in. the second quarter .... Rivers is keeping that clock moving.
  9. Did the play calling tell Fitz to throw five yards short into triple coverage? I hold Fitz accountable. We needed two yards.
  10. Sheppard, Scott, Wilson. We have no match for Gates. Only a pass rush would help.
  11. we really missed freddy on that drive.
  12. Do you miss three quarters of the game
  13. Our defense will adjust once we fall too far behind to catch up
  14. Agre on Bell but I would hardly call Hairston an excellent candidate at LT. To me Hairston looks like an excellent candidate to replace Pears at RT. We need to bring in another tackle whether Bell stays or not. Yup. I think they think Hairston can do the job at LT. Hmmm.
  15. Maybe not a bad idea but how about really getting some top talent for LT? Demetrius Bell was playing very good football. He is a free agent after this season. It will be interesting to see what the Bills do. History says they let him walk and try to develop the next raw prospect on the cheap. The wheels keep spinning and the rut gets deeper.
  16. Revisionist history. 1. Chan is known for giving EVERY player a shot. He has done that in both preseasons thus far. Maybin did not impress anyone, ever. 2. Maybin was cut buy the Jets too. He was lster called back only after injury. Call it good fortune by the Jets. If Maybin was a Bill he would most like have zero sacks. Especially playing in this system and with a weak front 7.
  17. True. I think its the relatively low ticket prices that attracts the rowdies. I actually get a kick out of rabid fans. Whenever I sit in the upper deck I am sure to see and hear some crazy suff.
  18. Got to admit, I read about the cap issue after I posted. Still... I cannot see Polian passing on Luck. I also saw Manning as a team player. I thought that if they can get by the cap issues and Manning gets healthy then Luck holds the clipboard. Now, after reading the article about Archie I guess I will end up wrong on my initial assessment. Thinking back to when Eli was drafted, Daddy Archie seems to take great interest in the careers of the Manning boys. I can only be an expert on one team so make that the Bills.
  19. Both will be in Indy and Luck will learn from the best. They will use the Farve-Rogers model that Green Bay had, no need to rush Luck into the games unless they have too. Who wouldn't?
  20. Thanks SJBF. Injuries happen to all teams. Overcomming injuries requires depth and leadership, and I will even throw in a bit of luck too. Nix said it himself back in the first month. He stated that we went into the season very thin (depthwise). Given that Nix knows that I already, we can assume that his management is making him operate far below the salary cap. I am not an advocate to spend foolishly on other teams retreads but I think most people would agree that there were players out there that could have helped us AND we could still be developing our young while. It will be interesting to see how Demetrius Bell is handled. Our last two starting LTs (Peters and Bell) were both low priced acquisitions that we developed ourselves, as is Hairston right now. Last year they were willing to offer big money for a right tackle. Will they look to free agency again or will they offer Bell a decent raise? Will they hand the job to Hairston or will they sign Bell and have a legitimate competion between them? Will they draft a LT in round 1 when the most pressing need appears to be a pass rusher?
  21. My experience says you just never know which ones are amazing. Do not discount the quieter polite ones either.
  22. It is not so much Hangartner the player that irks me. It is the approach. I know Hangartner is not very good and I am not asking for four deep. Our backup OL had almost no experience across the board. Rhinehart is a decent backup but cannot play center. There was no proven center on the roster aftger Wood (and he is a first year NFL center coming off of a major injury), not one guy that consistently snapped the ball in college or in practice. There was no NFL game experience for the backup OTs. Sounds like a bad recipe to me? Hairston is better than Wrotto and Howard. Good news for us. What would those games have been like if it did not work out that way? Hairston bailed Nix out. So far we squeaked through the year on OL. I suspect the Bills will let Bell walk in the off season. Lets see what moves Buddy will make. I will be watching.
  23. Good point. My bad. I am irritated at Nix and the entire FO for this glacier-like approach to rebuilding. Yes, We would have won more with less injuries. No doubt.
