  1. Actually two women have come forward and you can find their names. Someone has to start it and these two courageous women have done so. Followed then by many others who don’t want to be named publicly. The $1M base is the Browns fully being aware he’s going to be suspended. And knowing this winning him over by making sure he gets a huge raise. At the same time protecting his $ so he loses very little when suspended. Credit MS as one of the few in media who are calling it what is it.
  2. No struggle. It’s apparently very difficult to bring criminal charges in these cases. His lawyer essentially is putting the women on trial. Civil cases will likely bring settlements. Sorry, 22 women just seems a few too many for me. I am glad he’s not the face of the Bills. It’s an embarrassment to the Browns imho. I shall shun him as best I can, and it’s really no struggle.
  3. Absolutely, glad they got an “adult” at QB!
  4. So he loses virtually nothing if suspension comes. Arrogant POS, agent, and team. Embarrassing 😳
  5. Good QB. Lot of garbage stats in his last year. He’s top 8-10 QB.
  6. Yes they like Mills and have said he will be starter. I think this is great for Texans. Get rid of this “face of franchise” with to be fair questionable judgement. Get massive cap space and 3 #1 picks plus. For a guy who wanted out. Well done Texans!!!
  7. KM is very talented. But the Cards have faded late in the past two years. He’s everything scouts saw in college. Uber talented, height challenged and self centered. Not a great leader and unlikely to suddenly find that attribute. This latest episode after a disappointing end to the cards season is on par with his demeanor. The modern athlete totally focused on himself. His body language as a team leader is beyond embarrassing. Don’t see him changing. Good luck to the Cards.
  8. His dad is black ..
  9. McCown as OC is even a stretch. Coordinator positions also fall under Rooney. I could see QB coach as his start based on many years as qb. But his HC candidacy is bizarre even outside the Rooney rule. Texans are something.
  10. All good 👍 just a discussion. I’ve been way worse than that. Have tried to be less so recently. Good to care and be passionate. Nothing wrong with that 🍻
  11. Clearly not what I meant and you know it. We are discussing current NFL and what franchises have either turned a blind eye because of the talent a player has. Bills should take down OJ thats fine. He’s rarely mentioned now by anyone and that’s the way it should be. What others suggest is that in the current NFL, KC has been exceptionally active with such players. That’s true. No need to be condescending. Just a discussion and no I don’t support OJ.
  12. OJ was acquitted of said murder. (Being found not guilty is not the same as innocent). And this occurred well after his career. His football career is what it is. Bills don’t have a significant penchant in recent history of taking on players who have had domestic violence records. I get it on OJ but Bills are not actively involved with such players in very high profile cases. The Chiefs have.
  13. Florio knows all apparently. That’s quite a journey so your pal can become the HC. Wasn’t Florio the guy who floated BD is out if Bills lose to Pats in first round?
  14. Unreal that he’s being considered! Fire Culley who given circumstances did decent job. Ok yes his game management had some issues. But particularly given the sensitivity about minority hiring, it’s just dumbfounding.
  15. He would have had the Jags gig if he was willing to work with current GM. He flexed to bring in his own in his colleague from Arizona. Khan decided to not go that route. Leftwich to his credit wanted his own gm for all the logic it brings. All on same page and much more stability in getting a real 4-5 year chance.
  16. https://www.thecoldwire.com/why-hasnt-anyone-hired-eric-bieniemy/ This is one of several. He has interviewed 14 times. This article focuses on 3 issues. To your point .. the poor interviews are very speculative. I hope he gets a shot. The non play calling can certainly be overlooked. Several HC were just position coaches.
  17. Ive read several articles on it. I’m actually rooting for the guy. Those articles are easy to find. He’s had 10-12 interviews. Sorry but that is a lot of opportunities. Wish him the best.
  18. What was he supposed to do in the pats home game? Then he dismantled hoody x2. Had Bills O on fire and obviously should have had Bills hosting vs Bengals at home. Coaches win, lose, move around and learn. A very common resume for those who aren’t gifted HC jobs after being position coaches. He was gifted JA who he developed. So.. they both helped each other. In combination with JS and some cap issues I think he will get more than two years. DJones has some potential, we shall see. Seems an odd position to take on an OC who arguably deserved and had earned a very good shot at SB.
  19. I do believe that EB does not interview particularly well. It’s been reported his interviews lack details. He’s had multiple kicks at the can but may be it’s not gonna happen.
  20. He played well against the Pats. The Bills owned him. He’s only ever been a position coach not a DC… then rocketed up to HC via his good work and BB reference. The same BB he just back stabbed; immediately after he back stabbed his owner (who is an idiot but did give a 37 year old position coach the job). Can’t get along with GM, QB, and didn’t communicate to his coaches since Thanksgiving. Not sure 🤔 how this benefits the Bills? Seems Flores is in to Flores, not a process guy💯😂
  21. All that is true. He was given a dreadful roster, a superstar qb who could not play, and a less than respected owner. They competed in most games and most importantly were developing Davis Mills big time. The general theme is unless you operate like Urban you almost always get a 2nd year minimum and imho I think he deserved that.
  22. https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/analysis/preston/bs-sp-nfl-black-coaches-preston-20220119-oo4eejl7ovhffhpnsqfc2554nm-story.html Sorry for being redundant on this. I think I provided link way back. The great point you make about short window is spot on. Culley, Wilkes, Joseph, all only one or two years. Might be missing others. Can’t get my head around Culley firing as it’s ridiculous.
  23. Statistical fact. Since the Rooney Rule 21% of NFL head coaches hired have been hired. Currently 6 GM’s are black. Just a couple years ago the league had 8 black head coaches. It’s about more black candidates filling the lower level jobs that filter more up to the OC and DC jobs. The why is : 1. Are you qualified 2. Are you connected; is someone in hiring decision very familiar with your work. Or do they trust a reference who believes in your work. #2 is the challenge in any hiring scenario. Corporate enterprise works the same way. The solve is having more minorities in the potential candidate funnel. That’s the solution. Leftwich wants Wilson as his GM who happens to be black. They have worked together, believe in each other, and have trust. Just like JS and DB. Good for all four of them. Not racism just human nature. Agree what the heck are the Texans doing considering McCown? Culley got bad deal other than a substantial $ buyout. Thought he did a good job considering.. and the rookie qb showed great improvement.
  24. True on Leftwich he wanted Wilson as GM from his relationship in Arizona. Can’t blame him. Isn’t it how the world of networking works.
