1. That Green Bay game was crucial. I can't believe they were able to pull it off. That team just finds ways to win (as we well know). I was really hoping for a Brett Farve led comeback that just didn't happen. Jax has Houston and Oakland and both are very winnable games. I see us getting ahead of Denver and Baltimore and losing out to the Jets and Jax. I really hope I'm wrong. If we win out, then I think this team deserves a playoff spot.

  2. I jumped in in midstream, but was going to vote Eagles or Dolphins.

The Eagles undies calender was a stroke of hormonal marketing genius. We need that firm to promote US foreign policy.

The Eagles have by far, the best swimsuit calendar I've seen. It makes me proud and thankful to be an American when I view it.

  3. For probably the opposite reason that some of you like the Patriots' cheerleaders, I think the Washington Redskins have the sexiest cheerleaders, followed by the Tennessee Titans.

The Bengals cheerleaders aren't bad, especially considering that they're from this unsophisticated plain-wrap neck of the woods.

At the risk of "smack talking," the Jills are really not very attractive.  Is it the weather up there or what?

Come on, we've been down that road already.

    I submit for your approval:

I think the Dolphins might win the overall award.

  4. I did...they passed me onto an organization. One of our fans actually just emailed us and said he is a public relations officer for a reserve in Buffalo with troops over there, so we may actually be set.

We should send money and help to the families of the guys that got killed. I don't know where you get addresses. The Buffalo area has a very high number. Tim Russert mentioned this on Meet the Press.

  5. Allison's turn on's: Hee-Haw reruns, Mel Tillis concerts, and the back seat of cars with numbers on their doors.

Allison's type of man: One that's not yet committed to a relationship with his sister.

The jury is returning a verdict: I'D HIT IT YOUR HONOR!

  6. Man this place is sad!! I thought the DENVER FANS sucked but " YALL" take the cake...If  "YALL" think OHIO  is in the south  "YALL" need to look at a map.

We cross the river and we get Canada and good beer and hot strippers. You cross the river and you get Kentucky and a bunch of toothless hags. We win!

    Retreat to your double wide.

  7. I agree - I love baseball. I wish the AAA Bisons existed before I moved, although I did see Tony Pena play AA ball at the Rockpile - and a little AAA ball before the original Bisons left. Here  in Memphis we have a AAA team and it is much more affordable. Working people can afford 50-60 games per year. That is impossible at major league prices.

I'll take hthe NHL, AAA ball and the NFL over MLB any day. Buffal ohas a good thing going.

Out here, the A's (my team) struggle every year. The Bay Area is the epitome of the haves (Giants) and have nots- (A's)

  8. Hmmmm, my memory is pretty bad for a lot of things, but I am almost positive that this was one of the very early episodes, maybe not the first...

As far as having your mind boggled, I have the same thing with Bills games.  If something happens between August and December (sometimes January!) I can usually remember who the Bills were playing that weekend, and if they won or lost.  Amazing thing though, on game day, I get so caught up in the immediate play, I forget the sequence of events from earlier in the game....bizarre!

You know- selective memory. Last week, after the game, I went out to dinner with a girl I date. I can recall everything from the game last Sunday. Can't remember what either of us had for dinner or what we discussed. I'm sure I must have been a very fun date.

  9. you are mistaken.  i know it wasn't the first episode, but it may have been their first christmas episode

    161625

No, this one wasn't until the 3rd or 4th (I think 4th) season. Their first Christmas episode was a take off of the Night Before Christmas and that was the 2nd season.

It boggles my mind I know this stuff, yet, forget where the hell my car is parked on Monday mornings.

  10. Festivus!

    161366

    Festivus is great.

The Simpsons episode where Bart trys to get a tattoo that says "Mother" as a Christmas gift to Marge and Homer gets no Christmas bonus so they go to the dog track to win gift money and money to get rid of the tattoo is a classic. That's the one where they get Santa's Little Helper. In case you all wondered where that dog got it's name.

Also, Bart gets caught while getting the tattoo and pulled out of the shop so that the incomplete tattoo says "Moth".

  11. 61 and sunny in San Francisco. Goign to 50 tonight. Typical winter, except it is usually rainier. It's been a dry winter, maybe it will be nice for all those coming out here next week for the game. I'm looking forward to some Buffalo snow when I get back next week. Although, I recall, last year it was in the 60s one day. Some friends went and played gold at OP Country Club.
