If the D is vastly improved, we will have a good shot. We score enough points.

I like Chelsea which makes me seem like I'm aligned with an evil empire along the lines of the Pats and Chiefs. The Bills are definitely in the category of several teams mentioned above here, Spurs, Newcastle and Everton. They have a decent chance to break out of the hard luck mob, though.
-
Lots of teams have bad seasons and use the draft picks to get out of it and back on track. Those 2-14 seasons helped us get together the team that went to 4 Super Bowls in a row. I'd take two terrible years followed by great success as opposed to 17 years of being bad, but not bad enough to get the top QB or impact players to get back on track. We were cursed with a range bad or mediocre 6 to 9 win seasons for 17 years. Piddled around with guys like Maybin and let the Pats roll all over us.

Baltimore. Chiefs are starting to fade, but Baltimore are formidable and got better in the draft. It was a miracle we beat them in the playoffs. Bengals are dysfunctional with bad ownership that won't spend money and Burrow is fragile.

If true, that is an eye opener.
Edit: Just to clarify, I don't mean to imply you're lying or making something up. Just that it's a third-hand account of something that happened three decades ago.
I get what your are saying- he told me this long ago when Marcellus was playing for us. It stuck with me, though. Every time I've seen him on TV since it pops in my head.

My who buddy played football with him at Columbia and said that the take back the night vigil at Columbia was referred to by some as Marcellus Wiley Night.

He deserves every penny- without Josh Allen we would be on Miami level. Solid but just not there.

The Bills would have played a better game but still lost. I could see us losing 37-24 but our points would have been consistent and not all at the end in garbage time. Baltimore and Bengals all would have lost as well. The Eagles were the top team all year. People were bought into the Chiefs aura and the Lions love. The Chiefs were not the top team from the AFC and last night the smoke machine ran out and the mirrors all got cracked.

It's not just the bad calls that go against the opposing team, it is the lack of holding calls on the line and in their secondary. Their secondary is handsy. If there is no call early, they know they will get away with it. If it gets called early, they know the refs are not favoring them and they are in trouble.

I think the Ravens are better than the Chiefs. We got the bounces yesterday. We should beat the Chiefs even without the multiple turnovers. My only concern is it’s in their stadium and the refs can help them with bad calls or non calls on their holding etc.
-
When they scored I immediately said that I was glad it happened that fast as it gave us plenty of time to go score a FG. I firmly believe that we would have gotten into range since Allen would have played lights out and you don’t need to go that far 35-40 yards. My concern was- will Bass make it?
-
He probably catches that two point conversion 99 out of 100 times. The football gods liked us today.

We got the bounces. Normally it seems like we are the victim of the bad luck. Lamar played very good outside the INT. It was an MVP caliber performance. I thought for sure we were toast just before the punch out fumble. Those guys are better than KC. That was one of our biggest wins in history.
On to the KC refs!
-
Baltimore could easily be the winner here. We got the bounces. Outside the INT I feel like Lamar played at an MVP
level.

One of these days a player is going to pull a Kilo Alonso on Mahomes.
I thought the same thing. When he didn’t run out of bounds and waited for someone to touch him so he could flip I realized what a little B word he is. Someone needs to destroy him there and teach him a lesson. It’s worth a fine and getting tossed out.

This is around what I'm thinking but with no zay flowers and probably a couple turnovers for the ravens I have 44-24 bills. Especially being at home
I think the week 4 game is really the only reason so many people are favoring the ravens. It's not necessarily transitive or completely rational but that's how ppl are seeing it.
At this point I would think that those results factor in Flowers being out. It mentioned that is used the latest weather forecasts too.

Kahler's pick: Ravens 28, Bills 25
Moody's pick: Ravens 30, Bills 23
Walder's pick: Ravens 31, Bills 27
FPI prediction: BUF, 50.3% (by an average of 0.3 points)It’s really wild, it’s hard to find any talking head picking the team with the better record playing at home whose QB plays far better in the postseason.
Let’s go, guys. Time to shut all these numbskulls up. L. F. G.
The CBS self learning AI platform has us winning 33-22. I like that since it takes the stats and variables and eliminates the bias. The computer doesn’t listed to hype. I think the ELO model had us winning as well.

I'd go up to NorthStar Cafe. It's probably going to be about 25 minutes from the airport.
Yep- if you can swing it timewise, run out and get a cab to Northstar. It'll be worth the extra travel.

What a glorious loss! Well done to the scrubs in pulling that L across the finish line.

Spagnoulo was D coordinator when the Giants beat the undefeated Pats in the Super Bowl and he said that they took lots of precautions knowing Pats would cheat. High security practices and multiple signal callers so Pats could not see what they were doing. Pats normally would steal teams signals so they knew when teams were blitzing etc. Pats were befuddled in that Super Bowl and could not cheat like normal and lost.

What do you think Ralph Wilson would think of these Bills?

Ha! Sadly, this might not be inaccurate.
