Ralph for the record was absolutely cheap.  I think he gave his daughter on his death bed his favorite watch for a 15% discount.  The cash to cap nonsense was ridiculous.  We wouldn’t have Allen, Beane, McDermott, or a new stadium.

We’d have Frank Reich as coach trying to tudor Kenny Pickett and we’d have a 7,000 sign Aaron Rodgers thread going.

Ha! Sadly, this might not be inaccurate.

  2. I like Chelsea which makes me seem like I'm aligned with an evil empire along the lines of the Pats and Chiefs. The Bills are definitely in the category of several teams mentioned above here, Spurs, Newcastle and Everton. They have a decent chance to break out of the hard luck mob, though.

  3. Lots of teams have bad seasons and use the draft picks to get out of it and back on track. Those 2-14  seasons  helped us get together the team that went to 4 Super Bowls in a row. I'd take two terrible years followed by great success as opposed to 17 years of being bad, but not bad enough to get the top QB or impact players to get back on track. We were cursed with a range bad or mediocre 6 to 9 win seasons for 17 years. Piddled around with guys like Maybin and let the Pats roll all over us.

If true, that is an eye opener.

Edit: Just to clarify, I don't mean to imply you're lying or making something up. Just that it's a third-hand account of something that happened three decades ago.

I get what your are saying- he told me this long ago when Marcellus was playing for us. It stuck with me, though. Every time I've seen him on TV since it pops in my head.

  5. The Bills would have played a better game but still lost. I could see us losing 37-24 but our points would have been consistent and not all at the end in garbage time. Baltimore and Bengals all would have lost as well. The  Eagles were the top team all year. People were bought into the Chiefs aura and the Lions love. The Chiefs were not the top team from the AFC and last night the smoke machine ran out and the mirrors all got cracked.

  6. When they scored I immediately said that I was glad it happened that fast as it gave us plenty of time to go score a FG. I firmly believe that we would have gotten into range since Allen would have played lights out and you don’t need to go that far 35-40 yards. My concern was-  will Bass make it?

One of these days a player is going to pull a Kilo Alonso on Mahomes.

I thought the same thing. When he didn’t run out of bounds and waited for someone to touch him so he could flip I realized what a little B word he is. Someone needs to destroy him there and teach him a lesson. It’s worth a fine and getting tossed out.

This is around what I'm thinking but with no zay flowers and probably a couple turnovers for the ravens I have 44-24 bills. Especially being at home

I think the week 4 game is really the only reason so many people are favoring the ravens. It's not necessarily transitive or completely rational but that's how ppl are seeing it.

At this point I would think that those results factor in Flowers being out. It mentioned that is used the latest weather forecasts too.

    from ESPN.com:

    Kahler's pick: Ravens 28, Bills 25
    Moody's pick: Ravens 30, Bills 23
    Walder's pick: Ravens 31, Bills 27
FPI prediction: BUF, 50.3% (by an average of 0.3 points)

It’s really wild, it’s hard to find any talking head picking the team with the better record playing at home whose QB plays far better in the postseason.

Let’s go, guys. Time to shut all these numbskulls up. L. F. G.

The CBS self learning AI platform has us winning 33-22. I like that since it takes the stats and variables and eliminates the bias. The computer doesn’t listed to hype. I think the ELO model had us winning as well.

  10. Spagnoulo was D coordinator when the Giants beat the undefeated Pats in the Super Bowl and he said that they took lots of precautions knowing Pats would cheat. High security practices and multiple signal callers so Pats could not see what they were doing. Pats normally would steal teams signals so they knew when teams were blitzing etc. Pats were befuddled in that Super Bowl and could not cheat like normal and lost.
