    I don’t want it. I hate all red. It was a simple thought exercise in regards to visibility during snow football games.

    Ok thanks for the reply. I’d be ok with, especially if the lake effect snow is going. Anything to help Josh see through the snow is a plus. It might not even be that heavy of snow, but it all depends if the lake effect is going or not.

    Who really knows at that point. Depends on if the Lake Effect snow machine is going once the arctic air spills over the lakes.

    No because of personal reasons or no because they aren’t allowed in the playoffs? I hate all red, I was just thinking it would provide an advantage for Allen in the snow.

    Seems like Red would be much easier to see in the snow than purple. Figured any advantage for us is a plus. I was hoping for all red, it is better to see in the snow than blue. But they might not even be allowed.

    It doesn’t matter, that wasn’t my point. My point was there is zero liability risk if Allen is on the field camping in the end zone if all the other DBs are there as well. We pull 1 lineman, big whoopdie do. An athletic tall QB deserves the chance to play hero ball on hailmarys and nothing else will change my mind.

    Allen can track a football. He just had an over the shoulder fully extended catch for a TD today. The dude is a freak athlete and I’m 100% giving him the green light in hailmary situations.

    I mean ***** happens and it comes with risks. If you are sending 1 d lineman, I don’t see how having Josh Allen camping in the end zone is a liability risk when all of your starting defensive backs are still on the field.

    I mean it’s totally worth it in my opinion. We either send the house with a pass rush or pull everyone back. Having all your CBs on the field plus Allen and a tall TE/WR on the field is literally no risk other than injury. Nothing worse than being an athletic QB who just led the team to a lead only to lose to a hailmary. As a coach, I’m giving a tall QB a shot 99% of the time.

    Hands down tall guys. I mean obviously you want most of your starting DBs on the field still, which is why I would just pull a d lineman or 2 and just keep 1 defender camped in the end zone. I’m a firm believer in allowing an athletic QB a chance to play hero ball in hailmary situations. They earned the right in my opinion.

    Allen is literally one of the tallest guys we have that can jump. I’m probably in the rare majority here, but he would have gotten the nod from me if he wanted it.

    QBs are the hungriest players on the field the majority of the time, He led us to the lead. He deserved the chance to stop the hailmary. You can keep all the other DBs on the field and pull one lineman. There is literally no risk in doing so other than injury, but Josh earned the right to defend the jump ball if he want to.

    In a hailmary attempt? Why not. Seems like the best chance to try it. Allen chucking it into the end zone and Knox and Davis launch Beasley up into the air for a game winning super bowl touchdown seems like a great way to win! Then Goodell pissed off cause the Bills won on a technicality.

    It would be interesting to see a team try it in a playoff game or super bowl just to push the rules boundary.

    Thank you. Does this also apply for offensive plays or hailmarys? I don’t see any rules for that, just FGs.

    Lol run a route in the end zone and have Beasley get on his knees and hands and have Diggs jump off his back for a jump ball TD.

    Can you link me the rule where it says they can’t leverage their own players? I thought as long as you don’t cross the line of scrimmage and land on a player it was still legal?

    Good to know, I thought it was only using opponent as leverage. So does this also apply for hailmarys?

    I don’t know why they don’t try it on field goal kicks either. As long as you don’t leap over the lineman it should be legal until the league bans it lol. A NFL team should try a basket toss on a field goal just for the lolz.

    I mean I don’t see why not, I can’t find any NFL rules that are against lifting up your player for defending or catching a jump ball. If someone knows the answer why NFL teams don’t try it, please let me know.

    You don’t need 3 people, NFL players are strong enough for 1 man lifts. Especially if you have Beasley out there.
