Hope I'm wrong but can't see this game happening today.  Not sure how they get the snow out of the stands.  I'm on elma/orchard park bordar and approaching 3' of snow.

    Roads surprisingly pretty clear though.

Is this your first year living in WNY?

The storm in so isolated, that with all the resources in the south, pretty much by noon-1, it will look like an normal winter day.  Snow plies and clear roads.

Allen is fine in cold weather.   He is not particularly good in sloppy weather (wind, rain, and/or snow).   Obvious sloppy field games where he was outplayed by the opposing QB is, of course, by Burrows in last year's playoff game and by Matt Ryan in Allen's three interception game against the Falcons a few years back (although Allen did win the game with his legs once he stopped throwing it so much.)  There was also the Eagles game against Carson Wentz in 2019 but maybe you don't want to count that since Allen hadn't hit his stride yet.  I am sure there are others but those are the ones that are just off the top of my head.  You can also argue he was outplayed by Bill Belichick's strategy in the famous Mac Jones two pass game,

To me, the issue is that Allen doesn't like to adjust for his passing game for weather except to throw the ball harder which just leads to more drops and less accuracy.

This is a good point.  He always seems like he is throwing a missile when the weather gets colder, and he has way less control.

I'm not the biggest fan of JA17, he is a rollercoaster for sure.  But I want every opposing QB's stats - I think waht you're complaining about is an open air stadium in the snowbelt.

Not really, I remember seeing him play at Wyoming and it seemed when it was cold, he was inaccurate.  So I wanted to see how he has done in NFL, and it tells the same story.

  4. Josh Allen at home in the regular season after Nov is gross.  A couple anomalies, but the guy is not a good cold weather QB.  I took out the game in 2019 vs Jets when he was pulled, but he averages 55% with 2 TD and 1 INT.  He is always wildly inaccurate when the weather gets cold.

They went for 10 straight weeks to open the season without letting anybody score more than 30 on them. The Bills were the first team to do so.

They'd been extremely good until the last few weeks when it became time for guys to start mailing it in and focusing on protecting themselves.

I think that's a pretty lame argument, honestly.  Teams started to run against them and really exploit their weakness.  Then the Jets will bring up the LB to stop the run, and then teams will hit the RB out the back field, or the TE in the middle.  Teams have been using this strategy for weeks now, and Jets have no answer.  Saleh is a poor coach who thinks he can just roll out the same strategy because they are just so much better than the other team.  Much like we seen with Dorsey.

In terms of your argument, teams like NE haven't mailed it in to protect themselves.

  6. I don't want this college football season to end, yet wish the NFL season ended weeks ago.  It's not just the Bills for me, it's the entire NFL product right now that I could careless for.  Greed has killed the game.

Kirk Herb was on PMT a few weeks ago talking about how boring it is calling an NFL game vs college.

I will forever say that the NFL has the advantage of being on Sunday's vs Saturday's, in terms of viewership.  I always can't stand when the league constantly pumps their TV ratings.

I think it's Beane being cut between a rock and a hard place:

-He cannot cut Von Miller to remove temptation. It is mathematically impossible

-If he suspends Miller the team is paying Miller a lot NOT to contribute. If the team looks the same or better, it's a terrible deal he signed. If the Bills look worse, he's the one who took a weapon off the field for McDermott

My only guess is that Beane is hoping that Miller comes back and kills it, and then trusts that Bills fans will enjoy winning more than they want to reckon with Miller's off the field actions.

It's not a great look, but none of this is a great look

It's really not that complicated.  Change nothing with Miller's roster status, and tell him to stay home.  On injury report, he is out for personal reasons.  We don't need the roster spot, so who cares.
