I am not against a receiver in round 1, but I’m not in for a trade up unless it costs only a 5th or later pick.  The only realistic trade up seems to be for Brian Thomas and I’m not sure he is a great deal better than Legette or Franklin or even Devonte’s Walker (in 2nd).

So many teams are looking for WR this year and this is considered a better WR draft.  In 2022, there was 13 WR taken before pick 55.  There is no waiting.  They need to take one in round 1.

I love this discussion, but I think we have  to brace for the possibility of not taking a WR in round 1.  I don’t know what Beane might be able to pull off to address DT, DE in FA, but I know that the cap situation is bad and, despite what some want to believe, the cap is not completely elastic (meaning you can’t just keep kicking money down the road forever).  At present, the team doesn’t even have enough DL to start, much less have backups.  That is real and, while it is fun to think that the Bills could just score every drive if only they could add Thomas Jr, that isn’t true.  LSU had BOTH Malik Nabors AND Thomas Jr AND Jayden Daniels at QB and they didn’t score every drive against college defenses.  Whether in 1st or 2nd and 3rd, DL needs attention.

Its not happening.  They are taking a WR round 1.  My bet, they even move up to take one.  If one thing this season showed, McDermott will make a good defense no matter who he has.  As long as he time to get everyone in the right spots, he will have a good enough defense.

    Truly harrowing!

Interesting, what are the knocks? Thin frame?

I'm trying to find the tweet, but they weren't very impressed with his ability to work the middle of the field.

  4. NFL is proving time after time what a disgusting organization they are.

The initial belief from the NFL is that Disney, Fox Corporation, and Warner Bros. Discovery, the parent companies of ESPN, Fox, and TNT Sports, are indeed well within their rights to this streaming service agreement. However, the NFL is still looking for potential loopholes to stop the service, according to Ourand.

It’s certainly interesting to see the NFL pushing back so hard against this venture. The NFL’s decision to give Amazon Prime exclusive rights to future playoff games after giving Peacock a playoff game this year further proves that they see streaming services as the future of broadcasting.

That’s why we should bite the bullet and just draft a back up quarterback it would be cheaper

Fine with me.  I'm curious where Penix ends up.  I feel like he is going to fall.

Surprised you don’t like Walker more. He feels like Thomas Jr (lite) to me.

im a huge fan of Thomas Jr. and Franklin although I wish he had a little more weight to him. Really like Mitchell and Rice too. Also a huge fan of Tahj Washington in mid-late rounds

Walker lost a LOT of money this past weekend.  His catch ability got exposed greatly at the Senior Bowl.  The dude has no idea how to get two hands on a ball.  I wouldn't touch Tez at all this entire draft.

We have the 1 seed if McDermott didn't let the Eagles, NE, and Denver walk down and score after Josh gives the go ahead TD.

Blaming the QB when he's consistently the best player on the field is convenient and lazy.

How did we take the lead in NE, maybe a Poyer fumble?!?!  The offense got the ball first in OT and what happened?  The Bills offense had EIGHT possessions where they got ZERO points vs Den.  Ya, lets blame the defense.

If we're analyzing that way--imagine if Bass was his old reliable self and didn't shank kicks. Or imagine if receivers didn't have so many drops  ...and the list goes on.

Every kicker misses kicks.  Every WR drops passes.  Pretty sure the team with the most drops is in the super bowl.

Allen leads the league in turnovers since he became a regular starter.

    Pittsburgh game = 0 interceptions.

    Chiefs game = 0 interceptions.

Regular season = 18 interceptions over 17 games.

Yeah, he had a bad day the first game of the season against the Jets with 3 interceptions. Don't let that bias your perception of the other games.

We don't even play the playoff games if the defense doesn't get this team into the playoffs.

We have the number one seed and week 18 "bye" if Allen doesn't throw 3 picks vs Jets, 2 vs Den, and doesn't throw a pick on first play of game vs NE.  How healthy would we have been if guys didn't have to play for 2 weeks?

The nostalgia for old Bills appears again. It's sway on the fan is powerful. It causes fans not to think critically. It has the kavorka.

No one who has been HC twice is going to come back as a position coach--even as a favor.

Besides, Josh is just fine. Strategy and play calling in the early season were the culprits of 6-6. McDermott andJoe Brady fixed that.

Get the heck out of here with that crap, seriously just go away. The guy led the league in turnovers on continuous BONEHEAD plays.  People need to stop blaming everyone else but the guy literally giving the ball to the other team.

I think fraiser takes alot of unnecessary flack. I know he was super frustrating at times, but the outcome this year was no different without him

I dont think we make the playoffs if Frazier is the DC.  The D was more aggressive this year which lead to turnovers that won us games, when the offense left the D for dead.

This is one of the biggest loads of horse crap projections I’ve read here-including after playoff losses! Please elaborate on how it’s clear as day he doesn’t fear or respect them?

im not sure why your venom is going after the one guy who has kept the Bills in as many games BECAUSE of his style of play

When you go out and complete the same mistake game after game, you are not listening to your coach, therefore not respecting him.

How many times did Allen throw an INT with a 15 yard out route against the sideline?  How many times did he need to be told to read the defense before throwing the ball?

It's not secret how harsh Daboll was with Allen.  We seen it on TV.  Allen goes back to the bench now, grabs his IPad, and Brady will console him.  Allen is a child at heart, he will admit it himself.  You need to be stern with a child for it to sink in.

Wouldn't Palmer be that guy ? Josh usually works with him every off season & Palmer in no uncertain terms tells him just exactly where 7 how he's screwing up as far as his mechanics and all so he already has that but yes because of the vacancy they could use a good QB coach .

So once again why not Frank ?

He doesnt work with Palmer anymore.

I want Frank Reich no where near Josh Allen.

Posts like this just show people are living in the past. Have you watched a hard knocks in the last 10 years? Very few coaches are getting in guys faces and screaming at them. The ones that do (Gregggggggg) are laughed at. Why? It’s a different world now and these guys are professionals. Josh has had 4 straight 4000 yard seasons and 40 total Tds. But he need a hard nosed coach? Cmon

You can be hard nosed and demand respect without screaming.  It's clear as day, Josh doesn't fear or respect Dorsey and Brady like he did Daboll.  Daboll wouldn't let Josh just do whatever he wanted out there.

  15. With the Bills not learning and just giving Josh what he wants in the OC coach again, they need to find a QB coach that is going to get into Josh's brain.  A guy that has been around for a while, and isn't looking to baby Allen.

One guy I'm wondering if he will do it as a "favor", is Frank Reich.  He obviously doesn't need a job, but wondering if he would come back here to try and get us over the hump.

These last two hires at QB coach, Dorsey and Brady, have been young guys that were looking to eventually be head coaches.  We don't need to go in that direction again.

Explain Nate Hackett? Or Pat Shurmur having two chances to be a head coach? Or Rob Ryan? Or Andy Reid’s ex heroin son being a d line coach? Or garbage Brian Schottmeir? Or a million other examples.

im not saying it’s all racism but it isn’t just the best guys getting the job. There is a guy in high school or college who is a million times better than Hackett but will never get a chance because is dad wasn’t a nfl coach or he’s not friends with the right people.

Morris just got another chance after failing in Tampa.

    Romeo Crennel got multiple jobs.

    Tony Dungy got multiple jobs.

    Herm Edwards got multiple jobs.

    Todd Bowles got multiple jobs.

I could go on and on with African American coaches that got multiple chances too.
