He has to listen to low IQ, clueless people who have no idea what they are talking about constantly calling and spouting nonsense call after call...it gets tiring after a while.

He should get mad at his screener, not the caller.  He doesn't have to take any calls he doesn't want to.

I've mentioned this in other threads...

It's very odd players never approach/sit by/talk to Allen on the sidelines.  And Allen doesn't approach other players.  Something is not right there,  especially considering Allen has always come off as "down to earth".

The diggs off-season mini drama has to be related.

This is the new norm for QBs and I just don't understand it.  Watch other games, this is not just an Allen thing.  Burrow and Mahomes are the same way.  They just sit on one end of the bench by themselves with some coach.  A far cry from the days of Brady and Manning ripping into teammates and coaches on sideline.

For people that sit behind bench, do QBs call up and talk to OCs that are in the booth?

  3. Josh has that look of emptiness.  Can't help but think being in Buffalo without Britt is getting to him.  Everything happened with them so late in season that he was constantly traveling right after they broke up.  After months in Buffalo, I bet it doesn't feel like it has the previous 5 years for him.   We have all been there when a place doesn't feel like home anymore and you just start going through the motions.

Sal C was just brought on by Jeremy and Joe and he goes - "Listen you're not allowed to say anybody in the media asks a good question, it's not allowed around here"

My gosh, tell us all again how you pack your clothes for a road trip, or what Max thinks of Rob Ray.

It's everyday with him.  He immediately goes into some confrontational attitude.

Sal is miserable. Constantly reminding guests and hosts that he "works for the Bills" and "I'm on the field for games"....cool, dude. I generally like the other WGR hosts but Sal is the worst. Can never be wrong either.

Miserable is a good description.  Miserable sports radio gets tiresome.  A reason why Pardon My Take has become the top sports audio out there.  People would rather listen to something easy going, vs some old man literally acting like miserable old man.

The minute he starts trashing Sean, he loses all access to the the team. It's self preservation. Same goes for Chris Brown and Tasker. Both Bills employees. Last week Tasker said the Bills would be "punting the season" if they fired Dorsey. Yesterday, he said something had to change.

It's not about trashing any part of the organization.  It's his tone and attitude that's the issue.  I don't really have an issue with anything he says about the Bills.

Today he was treating a caller like a child because the caller said the media needs to do a better job at following up on questions why McDermott doesn't answer the question that was asked.  Sal acted like he was talking to a 10 year old child who was about to get reprimanded.  It was an embarrassing look.

  6. I don't seek out Sal, really don't have time to listen to lots of audio, but he is usually on the WGR 550 morning show for a half hour, and the guy is so angry and argumentative.  It's a tough listen.  What happened to this guy?  He was always the positive light in a dark cloud when the Bills weren't very good.  He was a guy that I would look for his stuff that he would post when he lived in Florida.  He seems to be getting more condescending and wanting to constantly pick fights with everyone.  Not just the callers, but also the other hosts.

He needs a reset or something, but who would want to listen to someone that like constantly?

Is my opinion out of line?  The segment this morning and yesterday were embarrassing for him.

yet here we are, having this discussion.  Pegula's only positive decisions have been those 2 hirings---and now the water is circling the bowl.  And that's what you want to point out--the 2 architects of Bills ultimate futility over the past 3 or so years, as things are now falling apart??

You should see the things discussed on this message board.  Just because something is discussed here doesn't really mean anything.

Falling apart to who?  Maybe to you, but you're not the one making the decisions.  To the ones making the decisions, they could view this as part of being an NFL team.  Teams have ups and downs. EVERY TEAM.

He's fired everyone and took over the Bills and the Sabres.  He's not very good at either, it turns out.  But at least he got rid of those execs having a consensual relationship!!

At least he has those soothing billions....that where I would turn to about now

Beane and McDermott have been rated as a top 5 team through the last 3 or so years.  To say he wasn't good at bringing in them is so ridiculous.  It says more about you saying that than it does Pegula.

There is no such thing as a consensual relationship in the corporate world within different hierarchies.  Lawsuit waiting to happen.

How do you not have contingency plans? Top 5 isn’t good enough. This fanbase deserves a Super Bowl victory. If the Pegula’s think we are going to be happy with playoff appearances and losing them, they got another thing coming.

Contingency plans for what?  One bad season in a 5 year stretch?

Whatever man.  Lots of fanbases can't stand the Bills fanbase now, and I understand it.  A far cry from where the fan base was 10-15 years ago.

I mean if things are so bad, why not just sell the team? They would make a profit and could just enjoy each other’s company while they can. Or at the least pass it down to their kids now and stay away from the stress. I want owners who are as much or more than a rabid fan than this rabid fanbase. It doesn’t feel like they feel our pain as fans.

Bro, this isn't a car or house.  Do you understand what it takes to sell an NFL team, or even pass it down to the kids?!  It's a multi year process.  Kim got ill over night.

You really think the kids would be any better at running the team?  Terry has made the Bills a top 5 most relevant team in the entire NFL since his ownership took over.  I

    Boo-hoo

With great power comes great responsibility.

Time to buck up and make the change.

Feel bad for a billionaire because his sports teams aren't winning? Nah

Unfortunately for the Pegula, it hasn't been about just his teams winning.  Kim has been in really bad shape.  This is life and death, not some score in a game.

Then the Bills need coaches who can first help Josh mentally, then exaggerate his ceiling and reduce the 'floor' plays. Josh is a problem but the coaches are doing nothing to solve it; indeed I think they're making the issue worse.

The guy is 26 years old, a 45 million dollar a year QB.  You want to rely on a coach to fix that type of QB?!?  It's on Allen.  The plays are there and he has full authority to change the play at the line.
