  1. I play fanduel daily fantasy basketball and football. Been doing it for years mostly for fun and a hope I can win something big. Very difficult to do. Their payouts are very top heavy. Almost a winner take all but not quite. Wish the money was disbursed a little more evenly. It keeps me occupied and it's fun for me. So I relate to your post.
  2. No doubt Milano is the better Blitzer. QB Jones is one of the worst passers under pressure. Fraizer has to implement blitzes and generate pressure on Jones. Jones will find the open guys if he has a clean pocket. Also, despite his lack of arm strength he will throw the ball long with success. Nelson A and Devante P can make big plays and win jump balls. He will make mistakes under pressure. I don't think this is the game for Fraizer to play his base nickel defense.
  3. Very nice post. Trying to get the best closing line is a very tricky proposal. Of course, getting the hook" or trying to avoid it is important. I remember one time I had a 10 game parlay live going into the Monday night game. At that time, 10 game parlays were 500 to 1. Now, it's much more. I placed a $10 bet so my ticket was live for 5k. For me, my last game was always the Monday night game so I could hedge my bet. The game was a Cowboys vs Philly game. The line was 3.5 point. I waited and waited for the line to go to 2.5. Obviously, wanted to game to end on 3 to win both bets. The line never moved. I hedged my bet and placed 2k on the other team. My parlay cashed and I won about 3k. That was 25 years plus and I've never won another 10 game parlay.
  4. Obviously, you don't know how betting works Those conditions certainly change things. I mean you are hedging for sure. Bills will win out if ABC happens or doesn' t happen. That's not how the game works. Unknown variables are in play and when you make outlandish predictions you can disregard or modify the variables. That's exactly what you are doing. Either the Bills win out or they don't. Your modifications are absurd. I mean can I bet a game and say the bet only counts if QB/RB/WR or whoever doesn't get hurt? If it rains or snows too much disregard my bet. That's what you are doing. Nevertheless, the win out claims are so ridiculous I'll listen to your modifications. The Bills aren't winning out. In fact, I'm not sure they win tomorrow.
  5. No conflict at all for me. I always root for the Bills to win. I bet such a little amount that the bets are secondary. I'd rather lose my bet and have the Bills win the game. I only bet against the Bills when I think the spread is way off which doesn't happen often. Plus 9 to Detroit was a good example. This week plus 4.5 points to the Pats seems very high.
  6. I won the bet with plus 9 points and Detrlot. Obviously, you don't bet games. Betting has nothing to do with loyalty. The old saying is never bet with your heart.
  7. Should be some game! MVP candidate Tua vs Allen. Hopefully, Allen and the Bills can get some revenge. Most likely will be for the division.
  8. The Vegas people are setting the Bills lines very high. Like last week. They had the Lions 10 point favorites. I jumped on 9 points early in the week. Knew that line was way out of whack. This line shouldn't be 4.5 imho. 50 bucks only. I don't get big because it takes the enjoyment out of it for me. Have a couple parlays too.
  9. Just locked in the Pats at +4.5 points. Way too many points in what figures to be a close game. Taking the points has been the way to go. Outsiders just don't realize Josh is limited with his elbow. The Pats D is legit. Top 10 in every category. At home in a revenge game. Hopefully, Bills win by 3 or 4 points.
  10. That's changing the scenario. I never advocated that either was going to happen. You defended the win out post. So put up or .... up. Nice try though.
  11. Just because it's a Bills fan website doesn't mean you should lose all reality. How bout this anyone can DM me if they would like to pursue a friendly wager on the Bills winning out. They have a good chance of losing on Thursday.
  12. Oh no doubt it cuts the other way too. Negativity or constructive criticism should always be bolstered by reasonable opinions and facts. Pure trolling or hatred for the Bills should be equally challenged and criticized. However, things here aren't equal. The negative posts here almost always get undue resistance. For example, look at this thread. It's premise is ridiculous yet most here don't challenge, question, or criticize it. What if I started a thread on how the Bills might lose out or lose most of their games? Another ridiculous thread that would get shredded to pieces and rightly so. See the point? I just wish the board was a little more realistic with a more balanced views or good and bad. I know the more popular view is to praise the Bills and be optimistic. I get it. You must not know football if you think this team is going to win out. It is outlandish and unrealistic to think the Bills win out. I'll stand by that statement all day everyday.
  13. It cuts both ways. The Bills lost close games but they also won close ones. They could have easily lost to KC and Detroit. Right? With regards to Allen it all depends on his health. Obviously, he is hurt and a less than healthy Allen makes it extremely difficult for the Bills to win. Add in Hyde and Miller and it becomes even more difficult. No one knows how healthy any of these players will be. Predicting a Bills win out at this point is just crazy and laughable. Blinded homerism for sure. There is nothing to suggest this team wins out. As a realist, I'm hoping the Bills can win the division. Hope KC stumbles. Most of all the Bills get healthy. Most of us are diehard fans. Being a die hard fan doesn't give you a pass to say outlandish ridiculous post without valid construction criticism. Sure anything is possible but let's get real here. The Bills have a morsel of a chance to win out. I think most prefer more common sense post than blind homerism.
  14. These are the kind of posts that are ridiculous. I mean talk about hedging. Saying they can win out or go 4-4. With that logic can you say they can lose out too?
  15. It's ok to agree with me. Sometimes, I actually make a little sense.
  16. Maybe I need to take this class?
  17. The game has changed sir. Here's some QBs that disagree with you. Proof that running QBs can play well, run and run and run, and don't increase their chances of getting injured. Like I said the game has changed and QBs aren't getting hit like before. I believe statistically a QB has a better chance of getting hurt dropping back to pass vs running. I trust Allen to make solid decisions running and his body sure seems able to hold up to the hits he takes while running. (1)Jackson (2) Fields (3) Murray (4) Hurts (5) Jones (6) Mariota (7) Watson
  18. I'd like to give a shout out to the Bills organization for the unexpected addition of Sam Martin. He has been outstanding averaging over 48 yards a kick with several kicks inside the 10 yard. What a great reliable punter.
  19. Thanks for that information. I failed to do my due diligence. However, I still don't think the comparassion is valid. The game has changed dramatically to protect the QB since the Newton days. Also, there is plenty of controversy on how the refs and the league allowed vicious hits on Cam time after time without penalties and or fines. Additionally, Allen has proven to be a durable runner. I get the cautionous with Allen. Totally respect that. I don't want him to be reckless and take unnecessary chances for injury. However, I don't want to take away a great weapon of his which are his legs. Pleads for him to be a pocket passer and only run when it's a must isn't what I'm looking for. I'm more than ok with designed Allen runs and RPOs. This just makes defending the Bills O that more difficult.
  20. Disagree with the Cam analogy. Cam ran the ball well deep into his career. The game was much different back then too. The league allowed big hits to Cam. Cam's career was shortened because he wasn't an accurate passer not because he was shot because of his running. When he played in NE near the end of his career he was still running well. Agree on improving the Oline and letting the running backs run a bit more. However, I don't want to take away Allen's legs. I trust Allen when he takes off and runs. Sure I cringe but thus far hes proven to be durable.
  21. I want the Bills to win. The best chance for that is to unleash Allen which includes his legs. That includes designed runs and RPOs. You don't limit a QBs talents and thus limiting the team's ability to win. I'm getting tired of the constant don't let Allen run BS. You have years of watching Allen run without injury. The guy is durable and can take a hit. I mean should we say don't let him pass because he might get hurt? You do know the odds of him getting hurt are dramatically more when he drops back. Did he hurt his elbow running? I'm not advocating reckless running. Look at the Detroit game. After the Diggs catch they ran two fantastic designed Allen runs to get Bass an easier FG. Please people stop with the don't let Allen run crap. Allen isn't Tua. Play to win don't play scared.
  22. That would be fantastic.
  23. I'm sorry if you didn't like or agree with what I said. Instead of asking derogatory questions why don't you tell me what I said that was inaccurate.
  24. They are 9-2 with sub par WRs and RBs. Have the best QB on planet earth and an unstoppable TE. One is the best Olines in the league. A sub par defense that is beatable. An experienced and creative coach especially on the offensive side of the ball. They are proven winners who know how to win and have a ring to prove it. I could careless about a "world beaters" mentally. Not long ago the Bills were the "world beaters." Everyone was on their jock. I loved it!!! The media attention, props, love, accolades, positives, etc. The Allen MVP talk...It was intoxicating. I never once complained about it. In fact, I wanted more. How about you?
  25. Dolphins cruise to an easy win over the Texans. Tua pulled out of action in the 3rd quarter. I think it's time to seriously think this team is for real. Not really a Tua believer but there's something about him. He is a winner and the players believe in him. He brings out the dawg in his players. Tua as a Dolphin primary starter is 8-0. Couple that with great coaches and two outstanding WRs with a formidable defense. No doubt a new rivalry and tough challenger for the Bills for years to come. Never thought I'd say it but he could win the MVP if this continues. What a story that would be. It's time to give Tua credit.
