Yeah, Jauron got to work with let's see, superstar Mike Gandy, Bennie Fowler, Losman/Edwards, Keith Ellison starting LB, starting RT Terrance Pennington who never started another game after that one year, Larry Tripplett, and infamous "43 is the Mike" Bryan Scott
You can say the same thing about Todd Bowles. You can have a bad roster and still be a bad coach.Just now, WhoTom said:Defense is his specialty and he chose Tyrod as his QB.
Who was the alternative? Didn’t Orton retire? -

Dick Jauron did a WAY better job as the Bills HC than Rex. He just didn’t have a lot of talent. Rex did. Rex got the least he possibly could of out of that team. That was about an 11-5 team that hung right around .500. He was unquestionably the worst Bills coach during the drought.
You are just saying that because you hate Rex. He did a bad job with the defense, but any team with Tyrod Taylor is pretty limited. -

Rex is last for the Bills (by a lot) and Gailey is probably 3rd (or 4th at worst). As a Jets fan you probably remember him when he was good. He was an absolute nightmare as the Bills coach. Flores is maybe 1 for Miami. He’s certainly trending that way. I’d have Gase last in all cases. His player hate him. Also, Wannstedt was pretty much a moron. He’s definitely not 2. He’s not top 7.
Idk-As an opposing fan Dick Jauron was as bad as it got. Didn’t he get hired because he went to Yale or something? The guy looked like Coach Klein from the Waterboy. -

I guess I could take the time to look stuff up and debate your ranking of Greggo over Chan, but that would be like debating whether I’d prefer seeing a fruit fly snacking on my dessert or a gnat in a holding pattern around my forehead today. I am however very optimistic that McD will win the division this year FWIW.
I have Williams the edge because he at least had the Bills in position for the playoffs one year (although I believe he was in charge when Buffalo lost to the Steelers backups and punched a ticket for the Jets to the post season). -
Buffalo Bills (ranked first to worst)
1) Sean McDermott
2) Wade Phillips
3) Doug Marrone
4) Rex Ryan

2) Herm Edwards
3) Eric Mangini

Some of you guys are really overly sensitive
#1) There is no need to rip apart every article that may insinuate the Bills aren’t going to be good and Josh Allen is not a franchise QB. There are plenty of other takes out there (that are just as worthless) if you exclusively want to read positive things about your team.
#2) Mike Lombardi is a failed NFL GM who has become an insufferable pompous click bait machine. If the Pats and Bill Belichick didn’t think of it than it’s stupid as far as Lombardi is concerned.

Biden is the nominee, he can choose no other
He is also the establishment candidate, so Clyburn was again obligated to pick Biden.
AND again, he would support Biden over terrific candidate Tim Scott, if he had to also.
Tim Scott is a republican therefore he doesn’t have the interest of black and brown people in mind -

I'm sure he does. Too bad it doesn't include helping black communities, as nobody he has supported has done so.
I would think James Clyborn knows what’s best for black and brown people. He’s done a ton for civil rights.50 minutes ago, B-Man said:The fact that he has been a democrat congressman for 27 years, is House Majority Whip, probably affected his choice.
I would venture to guess if Senator Tim Scott was running against Biden, Clyburn would still vote for Biden.
For a reason.
.
Out of all the terrific democratic candidates Clyborn chose Biden. -

You really had no credibility before this statement. It just verifies that, in addition, you have absolutely no critical thinking skills.
You can like Joe Biden. You can vote for Joe Biden. But to say something like this while having any kind of working knowledge of his career is pure ideological idiocy.

I know it's asking a lot of a Jet fan, but can you provide a tad more detail on what these programs will do and how they will do it?

Yeah because Biden has done so much in the last 50 years of his political life.
What a pandering SOB you are.
I don’t care about 50 years ago. Joe is going to work with AOC, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders to build social programs by taxing the wealthy and big corporations.- 1

I would like people to explain why they hate President Trump so much. If someone puts together an answer, it is usually feelz, not substance. ?♂️
Ok, so don't look.
because I believe in social, economic, and racial justice. Trump does not which is why Joe Biden is going to replace him in a few months.- 1

My brother had posted that on his Facebook page a week or so ago ... let's just say there was a lot of un-friending that resulted. Some people are so touchy when confronted with the truth - from the cartoon characters of their youth, no less!
This is very insensitive -

Looks like Gase has one player in his corner. Mehta being called out by Alex Lewis.
Lol Alex Lewis who just got paid and isn’t very good goes to bat for Gase. -

You're not paying him to be nice. You're paying him because he's squawking for a new deal and might sit-out if he doesn't get it. And if he's the best player on your defense...
Why do they need to pay him two years early? Are the Bills extending Tre White?
The Jets are not without fault here either. They have created an atmosphere where great players don’t want to be there.

He’s on the board of directors of a hospital in Vegas. He’s got a lot of info and is a very smart guy.

Made the declaration on his podcast. Said he’s tight with the three companies working on it.

I am not saying Mehta is not right -- just that the article is a rehash of general jets stuff that is not specific to Adams.
Mehta does seem to have something personal again Gase but Gase has done enough publicly (such as throwing players under the bus in press conferences and posting player fines in the training facilities plus all the stuff that former Dolphins said) that I believe that many players hate playing for him.
The truth is usually somewhere in the middle with Mehta. Either way Adams and his camp are going to leak out all sorts of crap about Gase, Douglas, and probably Darnold as well. It’s like a bad divorce.Just now, Billy Claude said:Mehta was pro-Gase when the Jets hired Gase but that changed pretty quickly.
Mehta is not a great judge of coaches -- he also criticized the Jets when they fired Rex Ryan.
He’s best known for keeping Doug Marrone away from the Jets. Apparently Woody wanted Marrone before Mehta embarked on a crazy smear campaign. -
Eric Mangini makes some great points here. It’s a business-you don’t pay more money for the same player just to be nice.
If Adams goes to the Jets and agrees to sign a team friendly extension because he wants to protect himself from injury that’s fair. What incentive do the Jets have for ripping up that contract and handing him a record deal?

Yeah, Pffffft loses credibility year after year. 29th last season was a joke, and of course they will beat the “Josh Allen is a bust” drum until the cows come home.
That’s another thing I hate about PFF. Since their ratings are completely arbitrary and make no sense they can boost up/knock down guys they liked and didn’t like in the draft.
-
https://twitter.com/mmehtanydn/status/1275888335710453763?s=21Manish Mehta reporting that Jamal doesn’t want to play for Gase is not a surprise. The next step for Adams is for his camp to leak out negative commentary about everyone within the Jets organization.

White was a first team all pro that led the league in INTS and swayed numerous games on his own. He’s absolutely a super star.... PFF says he’s the 19 best corner in the NFL. That’s beyond absurd.
Not according to their grades
I was intrigued by this article until I saw it was PFF clickbait.
They grade players on a 1-100 scale in a way nobody can understand.

It wasn’t a fluke. The Jets made some really great draft picks in the Eric Mangini and supplemented with some real solid veteran free agents. Rex did a great job his first two years with the talent he had.
