The problem is when he was playing super well you wouldnt think to trade him lol. Once he’s injured and recovering you’d be selling him low and get next to nothing for him also Spector might be the worst football player in the nfl so trading a linebacker midseason is an insanely bad idea

Dorian was essentially out for load management when ne scored those two early tds. Even just him over Spector all game and none of the injured guys back and it’s a very different game imo

The Bills are not going all out

I find it hard to believe teams go super vanilla on purpose but personnel wise we were definitely holding back at the very least. -
Baylon Spector is a cheat code for an offense lol how can you even get pressure if he can’t cover a TE for a half second 😂.
-
I can’t figure out this officiating sh*t at all…like the dpis late sure that could go either way depending on the ref but it seems like just when we’re about to put away a game there’s a few straight up phantom ol holds and a blown false start out of nowhere 😂. It’s really strange. They don’t pull that stuff on kc

I’m not disputing that it happens at all, it just happens to other teams more. A lot of people on this board have just lost the context because they don’t follow what other teams are doing. The chiefs won just about every game like this. The lions a few weeks before we played them got taken down to the wire by the bears. It’s incredibly common at this level of football

Some of the specific points people are making are nonsensical but I get what you’re saying overall haha. I think a lot of people don’t watch a lot of other teams play consistently so they think some of this negative stuff is unique to the bills when it very much isn’t. bad teams go down swinging a lot more often than most here are insinuating for one current example. The insane run we had of double digit wins definitely spoiled people. This whole ‘how can a game come down to an onside kick/ td with little to no time left’ thing I’ve been hearing recently is hilarious 😂. Any game with a required late onside kick is not particularly close

Lol I still don’t understand how we’re always in the top of the point differential and have more double digit wins than anybody if it’s a mcd-specific thing that we play bad against bad teams 😂. this is one mcd criticism that I’m gonna say is flat out wrong. If anything we are one of if not the most consistent team in the league against lesser opponents. Of course we can go down the road of ‘what does how you play against teams like that matter’ in response and that’s a fair point but you can rest easy if your only concern is how we play against bad teams lol these ‘down to the level of your opponents’ games are happening to other teams more often than us but nobody here pays attention

Yea we were pretty much undone by LB injuries last year and i think we’re being careful not to repeat that. -

If we lose both Milano/Williams for the playoffs we are toast at any seed seems to be how we’re looking at it and it definitely isn’t wrong lol I wonder if the chiefs were especially careful with injured players down the stretch last year…they were outrageously healthy for the playoffs which made all the difference. You see ‘every team has injuries’ get repeated a lot but they had hardly any lol -
I’m still baffled by this claim…I’m not saying he’s without fault or anything like that but the bills win by double digits at a crazy high rate historically. They definitely do play down to the opponents level but it is considerably less often than a long list of other teams. messy division games especially in the first matchup of the year is a very common theme in the nfl on top of that. The lions and chiefs have two double digit division wins between the two of them (lions beat gb by 10 and Chicago by 17 in the rematch)

Haha I hate that I’m dunking on this guy on every post I’m sure he’s a great guy 😂. But if your team is starting Spector when they don’t have to they are absolutely not going all out -
Any game/half/whatever amount of time where Spector is starting to let injured guys heal up should be taken with a grain of salt. I know people say injuries don’t matter yada yada but he is absolutely horrible and all teams are doing is picking on him lol Idk how many pff nerds there are out there this isn’t gospel but just to put it in perspective they’ve got him as 177 out of the 178 linebackers and I am scratching my head trying to figure out who’s worse 😂. This isn’t even hyperbole I think he might be the worst player in the nfl that has seen significant time. Swap a lb out for Spector on any team and they are immediately a pretty bad defense at best second half of the lions game and a big chunk of today was the pick on Spector show…I think we would’ve looked a lot better the last few weeks otherwise after getting embarrassed by the rams at full strength more or less
-
Seemed like we were spreading it out to give Josh some run looks with the pats playing a lot of man but the pats made some really really nice block sheds/tackles. A couple of those where Josh only gained a couple could’ve been huge plays. A lot of that is familiarity with a division opponent I think
-
We play down to our opponent probably less than anyone in the league honestly. It definitely happens, but it happens to other teams just as often if not more. When it happens, it’s a division game usually which is even more common among other teams the bills have blown teams out freakishly often the last few years
-
Shakir dropped one of those and possibly two
-
The fluke argument is ridiculous…the 7 consecutive stops capped off by the defensive TD was a huge part in the win. If a defense making plays is always a fluke it’s just not even worth arguing honestly. I didn’t say they’ve been good all year….they were straight up garbage at full strength against the rams you can just as easily turn this argument around and say the bills offense scored 17 against a pretty bad defense despite having great field position on a few drives
